Roscoe is a fun, lovable, young guy looking for people committed to him for life! He is very affectionate and lovable and he's great with other dogs, especially if they like to play a bit harder and wrestle. He looks like a chihuahua, and rat terrier so may have either or both in his gene pool. Darling little tri color regardless!!! He's making progress with his housetraining as long as he gets fairly regular trips outside. When he came in, he religiously soiled in this crate and we believe someone got him as a baby who worked full time and thought a baby would just self train while being crated for 10 hours a day. That just makes them believe the crate is their toilet. So he may do better with someone who just doesn't believe in crating a dog. He loves toys, play time and giving or receiving affection. Meet Binky! Oh this girl is so special! Binky arrived with us after being rescued from a cage in a breeder's backyard. That cage was all she had ever known so she was quite shut down at first. Over the past few months in our care, she has learned that humans are kind, walks are fun and life can be pretty great. Binky is still quite timid and easily startled but she is the most gentle and kind girl. She loves affection and will gently paw you to keep the pets going. She likes to be close to you and does not love too much alone time, but she can also just comfortably snooze on the couch while you are working. She does not chew things inappropriately and is quite well potty trained. She will do best in a more quiet residential area. She may get a bit spooked in very busy or noisy areas. Binky gets along with other dogs but does not really know how to play with them. She prefers that they don't get in her face and then she will happily co-exist. She is best in a home with older kids (over 10 only) because younger kids may startle her with sudden movements. She is not suitable for a home with cats. Our entire team adores Binky. She is the sweetest girl and deserves a loving home of her own. She is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Meet Nova! Nova is an affectionate dog who is sweet, affectionate, a cuddler, walks well on a leash, dog friendly, and kid friendly. She is a five year old Decker Rat Terrier who has a pleasant disposition and is learning life in the inside of a home. Nova is friendly, gentle and playful and isn't one for being a couch potato. She loves plush squeaky things! She will mouth them for a while and fetch them. Tug of war is also fun with her. Nova loves her people and will give as many kisses as you will receive. She does well with other dogs with slow introductions and is playful and engaging with them once she feels comfortable. Nova has spent most of her life outside in a kennel. She has done very well with potty training and has the hang of it now. She is still learning to be alone at times, so her foster family is working on crate training with lots of positive reinforcement. She remains calmer if she can see her human. If she cannot see her human, she is persistent at letting her needs be known that she needs to see someone. At the moment we are crate training a few hours at a time and at night. Overall, Nova is super sweet and would do well in a home with a family or another dog. She currently lives with children between 6-12 in her foster home and does well with them. No cats for Nova! She does not prefer someone who has extensive time away. She is very curious about little humans and loves to chase or squeeze a toy. She is the kind of girl who will cherish someone near her at all times. Nova is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Toby turned 10 today, March 21st. His owner was taken to the hospital 3 1/2 weeks ago. She had cancer and died. Relativrs from out of town came and stayed at the house. Toby knew non of them. They could not take him. Friends could not take him. I offered to foster and re-home him. He is very timid at first to people then likes to approach them at his own pace. 48 hours after I had him he was bringing me toys to play with him. Inviting my dog to play, which she will not! Plays with the neighbors Corgi. He loves sitting next to you and sleeping in bed but doesn't hog the bed. He wants to be the baby. Good in the bath tub & great on walks. Very interested birds, squirrels. He is also quiet and not barky at all.

Chico is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Chico is a male, possibly a Rat Terrier mix, and is around 4 months old (February 12th). -He weighs 10 pounds. -Was being given away, owner could not take care of him and his brother any longer -Previous owner said the mom is a rat terrier, unsure of father -Does well in a crate -Energetic, full of life.
