Story
Sweet Bella Bella is very kind and loving. She needs her people and likes to be with them. She likes other dogs, as long as they aren't too wild, as she does not like the "party animal" type of crowd. She would make a great pet for a family who is low key and likes taking simple walks and play. Bella will be fully vetted and microchipped prior to adoption. She is available to you with ground transportation, which will be included in her adoption fee.

Story
Meet Zoro, our adorable 4.5-month-old bundle of joy, ready to steal your heart! This little furball is a Rat/Fox Terrier mix, weighing in at a charming 19 pounds. Rescued along with five of his siblings, they all needed a bit of tender loving care, including baths and some extra attention to patches of missing fur on their feet. It's been heartwarming to see Zoro, alongside his brothers and sisters, blossom from scared little souls into playful, energetic companions. Our furry friend is the largest of his litter of seven but happens to be the most reserved. Despite his initial shyness, Zoro has proven to be a quick learner, finding comfort and joy in running and playing with everyone around. Don't be surprised if you catch a glimpse of his unique black spot on his back, near his adorable tail - it looks just like an elephant's head, complete with the trunk. It's the kind of cuteness that's impossible to resist! Zoro is still on the journey to becoming fully house-trained, but the progress has been remarkable. He's already crate trained, ensuring a safe and cozy space for him to rest. His size is just right for families with dogs ranging from 24 to 60 pounds, although he can be a bit cautious around larger furry friends. But fear not - he's a runner with boundless energy, always ready to play and burn off that exuberance. Our pup Zoro is a mixture of independence and affection. He craves love but on his terms. Approach him with patience and kindness, and you'll witness the transformation from a skittish soul to a warm and loving companion. Zoro is good with kids of all ages, making him a fantastic addition to any family. Help Zoro find a forever home where he can continue to learn about love, trust, and the joys of a safe, happy place. Story
Dapper 8-year-old Jax loves jogging, playing ball, running with stuffed toys, and taking long walks, but inside he's a sensitive soul. A sturdy 25-lb. rat terrier, Jax is a sweet boy whose behavior can be affected by anxiety. His adopter needs the knowledge and empathy to create an environment that helps him live his best life. It's something he richly deserves, for Jax is a cancer survivor, who had a mast cell tumor removed last spring and has since been found to be cancer free.   In his foster home, Jax adjusted to routines quickly. He follows the lead of the resident dogs and plays well with the other dog being fostered there. However, he's sensitive to incursions into his space, unrequested touching, or the possibility of losing valued resources, such as food or a bed. He can get into minor scuffles to protect what he considers his. New people must earn his trust before he'll consider allowing a pet or two. He doesn't like to be picked up at all and will bite if he's touched in a way the he perceives as painful or threatening. (He's muzzled if he has to be extensively handled.) On the other hand, he likes to nap close to his humans and the other dogs but does best sleeping in his own bed. He could be a single dog or live with one other dog who is independent or at least honors boundaries. Due to his moderate prey drive, Jax probably shouldn't live with cats or other small pets.   Ever since Jax started a hypoallergenic diet (cost about $50/month) to ease skin rashes and ear infections from a chicken allergy, he has seemed less anxious and more eager to cuddle. In addition, when he gets enough mental stimulation and physical exercise, he doesn't engage in repetitive barking, another manifestation of anxiety.    Jax definitely doesn't like to be crated, but he is fully house-trained and has never had an indoor accident, raided the trash, or counter surfed, so a crate really isn't needed. On leashed walks, he pulls a bit and loves to stop and sniff, but on jogs, he keeps up the pace. He'll be a wonderful companion for the person with the heart to appreciate his sensitive soul. See more photos of Jax at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/jax .Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hailing from Roswell, New Mexico and possessing a big dog head, a little dog body, and ears with markings that are out-of-this-world beautiful, Lola might conjure up thoughts of an alien experiment. However, while this super sweet terrier mix is definitely not an escapee from Area 51, her affectionate, spunky, energetic nature definitely makes her an E.T.--one truly Exceptional Terrier. In addition, her house-training is stellar with not a single accident in her foster home.   Short and sturdy, 3-year-old Lola weighs 25 lbs. She loves to walk, jog, and most of all play with other dogs! Friendly to all dogs, Lola could overwhelm one who's shy with her love of rough-and-tumble play, but she would be an excellent companion for a dog who wants to get physical and wrestle. Likewise, despite her affection for all humans and her willingness to be picked up, bathed, and handled, she can get mouthy when she wants to play, so she should not live in a home with small children. And she'll definitely need exercise to tire enough to show you how much she also loves to settle in, nap, and cuddle. While she hasn't been cat tested, she chases small creatures, so she probably wouldn't be a good match for a home with cats.    Don't just imagine having a close encounter of the furred kind. Instead, say, 'I want to believe,'' and send in that application to adopt Lola. If you want to see more photos of Lola, 'they are here!' at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/lola  Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old.
