And then there was one... Some people might feel bad for me since I am the very last puppy left in my litter, but if you ask me, they just saved the best for last! My name is Rafa. I am currently about 3 months old and 22 pounds, which means I am going to be a big, lovable guy when I am fully grown. One of my siblings actually just got a DNA test done, and nobody was surprised when it came back as a mix of German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, and Rhodesian Ridgeback! That DNA mix explains my coolest feature: I have a unique ridge of hair running right down my back that grows in the opposite direction of the rest of my coat. Fun fact about my ridge: it is a incredibly rare genetic trait shared by only three breeds in the entire world! Some old-school dog breeders have a romantic saying that the ridge is actually "where God sewed them up after stuffing them with love." On me, it just looks like a permanent, dashing mohawk! Aside from being uniquely handsome, I am an amazing puppy. Because I have been staying in a foster home, I already know how to behave in a house. I am completely crate trained and do not have accidents when walked on a regular schedule. I even sleep through the night without needing any late-night potty breaks! I am smart, have great manners, and have already mastered the "sit" command. Since I am highly food-motivated, teaching me new things will be a breeze. I am also a total sweetheart—I am wonderful with kids, love other dogs, and did great when I met a cat. With continued socialization, I'd do just fine in a home with a feline friend. Because I already have the basics down, I would be the perfect match for a first-time puppy family. I am just waiting for the right home to come along and shower me with love! There are higher fees associated as we have to pay to have the animals transported. We are a non-profit rescue. Any access revenue made is used to care for animals with additional medical expenditures that would otherwise result in adoptable dogs having to be left behind and euthanized. The adoption fee for this dog is $550 which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter. You will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will need proof of sterilization from the vet in order to receive the $100.

Coffee is a 5-year-old, spayed female Pit/Ridgeback mix who is ready to find her forever family. Due to unexpected personal circumstances, I’m no longer able to care for her long-term. Coffee is crate-trained and house-trained. She has a solid obedience foundation and knows recall, place, heel, center, sit, down, and out. She walks beautifully on a loose leash, even in busy city environments, and is comfortable navigating crowded streets. She has no known health issues, is up to date on shots, and is on preventive medications for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. Coffee does well being home alone during the workweek (about 8 hours a day). She enjoys playing tug, going for walks, and loves car rides. She is sweet and affectionate, and she loves being around people.

I’m an 8-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. My life was turned upside down when my old family left me at a high-intake shelter, but my foster mom helped me heal, feel safe again, and remember what it’s like to be loved. Now I’m ready to find a forever family who won’t ever give up on me. I’m a polite girl with great house manners — I only chew on my toys (never shoes!), and I absolutely love squeaky toys and cozy donut beds. I’m also a champion sleeper and perfectly happy to snooze in with you on quiet mornings. Walks are one of my favorite things! Long, sniffy walks make me so happy, and I’m a wonderful adventure buddy. Sometimes I get a little reactive when I see other dogs on leash, but I’m learning every day. Bikini came to us from a small rural shelter where her chances of getting out were very slim. She is a 3 yr old pit/catahoula mix and don’t let her breeds fool you. She’s a total couch potato! She has her moments of zoomies but they don’t last long. While she does live in a foster home with other dogs of all sizes, she is the queen bee and can be a little bossy so she is looking for a home with no other dogs. She loves all people she meets and she is a very sweet girl. She has good doggie manners but needs some work on her leash training. She is a puller on the leash but we’ve seen a lot of improvement with the ez walk harness. Bikini is located in Texas. Her adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, heartworm test and spay.
