Story
For questions about Lucy Lu, please contact jessica.fredericksen@lostdogrescue.org or alicia3joelle@gmail.com Lucy Lu wants nothing more than to be your best friend for life! This 2-year-old girl is sweet and playful. She loves digging up sticks, playing fetch, and having the "zoomies". She promises to always greet you excitedly like you're her favorite person in the world (because you will be!). Expect full-body wiggles, tail wags, and lots of kisses. Lucy Lu is also super smart and will gladly show off her tricks for a treat or some words of praise. She has impeccable house manners and is the perfect mix of chill and fun! Lucy Lu would do best in a quiet home with a fenced yard and without cats or small animals (she has a hard time telling the difference between a cat and a squirrel). Lucy Lu loves to play with other dogs and is more confident and comfortable in new situations if she has a doggy friend with her. She would love a dog sibling who likes to play and run as much as she does! Her ideal forever family is patient and understands she needs a bit of time to get used to new things and new people, but that once she does, you are in her heart forever.

My daughter adopted him 3 years ago He is a great-watched dog, He was at the Vet yesterday for right eye redness he is on meds. Great Dog gets along with people but not the other Dogs. he needs someone to work with him and teach him how to get along with other Dogs. he is a very clean dog, 84 LB of mussels neutered, and up to date with his shots. He needs a place to run to get some of his energy out, After my hand surgery, it's been difficult to walk him, he needs someone to teach him to get along with other dogs, and then you have a great dog.

Story
Harley is the oldest “puppy” we’ve ever known! She’s playing puppy catch up, doing all the silly puppy things – playing, running, jumping, getting belly rubs – almost like she’s trying to make up for lost puppy time. Most of all, she wants to be close all the time. Harley is amazing with all dogs. She’s all mush, even getting into a big play-bow position as if to convey to a dominant dog, “yes, you’re the boss. I’m just here to be loved.” She became fast friends with all of the other dogs in her foster home. When she is finally ready to collapse after all the playing, all she wants to do is snuggle, to be close, to be loved. She likes to lick, but it’s more of a sweet, little kiss to show affection. She’s very kid friendly, but jumps. She has learned how to sit, go to her kennel, move (when she’s in your way while walking), and learning stay/wait. She is fully potty trained and crate trained. She hasn’t shown any signs of resource guarding! She has to be encouraged to go potty as she just loves to play outside so much, lol! She doesn’t know how big she is. She wants to jump on her smaller dog foster siblings and can play too rough sometimes. With that being said, it would be best if she goes to a home without small animals like cats or small dogs (also due to her high prey drive), kids under 10, or anyone that is a falling risk/unsteady on their feet. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, she just doesn’t realize her size! When she’s in public, all she wants to do is meet everyone and treat everyone like her friend. She reminds her foster parents of Ranger, their Rhodesian who knew everyone loved him. Harley is a Ranger, an honor they don’t bestow lightly. The family that adopts Harley will be blessed. She has amazed us with how easily she adapts to new situations and meeting new people and dogs. She’s curious about everything, with a wonder that is endearing. She’s easy to love and will make you wonder how you managed to live without her at all. Adopters must have a fully fenced yard (at least 6 feet - she will clear anything shorter), an active lifestyle, and another dog for her to play with in the home. Again, no children under the age of 10, small animals, or anyone that is a fall risk in the home. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake. ***MOST OF OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS, BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).  Our adoption fee is $400 plus health certificate and transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee required at time of adoption), fecal analysis, spay/neuter for dogs 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport. Story
Meet Cute Pebbles! Pebbles is about 15 weeks old and weighs around 15 pounds. We think Pebbles looks like a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Terrier Mix (just a guess). Pebble is a sweet puppy who enjoys playing with the resident dog in her foster home and just ignores the resident cat. Pebbles enjoys daily walks, exploring the yard and then a good nap snuggled up next to her foster mom. Pebbles can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly when she realizes you want to give her snuggles or run around and play with her. Pebbles is doing excellent on her house and crate training. Pebbles would love another playful dog in her forever home, but it is not a requirement. Baby puppies will require an adopter who is at home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions! This puppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be spayed at the age of 6 months. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**

Story
Meet Lil Miss This sweet girl has had a rough go. She was found by her owner on the road as hit by a car, scared, sad and lonely. She took her to the vet and with their help and her love, she nursed her back to health, and lil miss was finally happy. Sadly, her owner recently passed away, leaving lil miss, once again, sad and lonely. She is being cared after by a sweet friend of her owners in hopes to find her a home that will love her an adore her like she had been. She is kid friendly and dog friendly with a kind and loving disposition. She is a bit apprehensive when it comes to medical care and is somewhat nervous in that situation, but you can't blame her after all the hard things this loving girl has been through. If you have the heart to give, she would be willing to take it. All she needs is a loving home to see her through. Her adoption fee includes her being fully vetted, microchipped and she is available to you via ground transport.
