From the foster: This girl whom we called Gal (Wonder Woman) is such a sweetheart. She has giant paws and a giant heart. Her features take after the Rottweiler we guess is in her mix. She is eager to learn and is working on getting potty trained, sit, come, heel, leash training, and crate training. This week at her foster home she experienced new noises, a bath, met and interacted with children, met and played with other dogs, and took a few car rides. She is learning how to play and share her toys. She loves to snuggle and take naps with her people. She is very bright and is already learning how things work. 0124095 - Meet Maci - The Sweet, Shy Girl Ready for Her Forever Home! Maci is a beautiful one-year-old pup who has spent her entire life in foster care, patiently waiting for a home to call her own. She may be a little shy at first, but with time, patience, and a few tasty treats, she'll warm up and show you her sweet, loving personality. Maci absolutely loves playing with other friendly dogs and would enjoy a canine companion in her new home. She has briefly met cats but isn't quite sure what to make of them, her strategy so far has been to run past them as fast as possible (smart girl!). She's house-trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and walks nicely on a leash. Maci knows basic commands, and her foster family is continuing to work on building her confidence. Because of her shy nature, she'd do best in a calmer home, and if there are kids, they should be at least 8 years old, as younger children may be a bit overwhelming for her.
