Story
Hi, I’m Brutus. Yes, I’m technically an adult dog… but spiritually I am a large enthusiastic puppy who hasn’t quite realized how big he is yet. My favorite hobbies include: • Melting dramatically into my person for pets• Supervising work calls by snoring in the background• Learning new things so I can hear “good boy” (my favorite phrase)• Climbing onto furniture like I’m a tiny cat trapped in a very large dog body Seriously, if there is a couch, chair, ottoman, or suspiciously climbable surface nearby, I will probably attempt to scale it. Personal boundaries and “four paws on the floor” are still concepts I’m working on. Apparently not every piece of furniture was designed to hold 58 pounds of determined cuddle bug. News to me. The good news? I’m smart, eager to please, and I genuinely enjoy training. I’d really thrive with someone experienced who can continue teaching me structure, boundaries, and good household manners. I’m the kind of dog who comes with a lot of potential and a huge goofy personality. I’m already a pretty responsible dude in a lot of ways. I’m crate trained, potty trained, and I sleep through the night like a champ. In the mornings I enjoy some training time and a nice walk before settling in for my important daytime job: Professional Napper During Zoom Meetings. I’m very attentive and I really love my person. I’m the kind of dog who checks in, listens, and tries hard to get it right. I bond deeply with my humans and love being involved in whatever you’re doing. If you want a dog who wants to be your sidekick 24/7, I’m absolutely your guy. I also recently had elbow surgery to help correct some joint issues, and I’m currently recovering like a champ. My future family should be prepared to help me stay healthy with low-impact exercise, good weight management, and continued structure while I heal and grow stronger. Long walks and adventures with my person? Amazing. Launching myself off furniture like a WWE wrestler? Apparently not ideal for my long-term career plans. Because I’m a big, intelligent working-breed mix, I do best with consistency, clear boundaries, and continued training. I’m extremely people-focused, eager to learn, and very rewarding to work with for someone who enjoys building a strong bond with their dog. I’m looking for an adult-only home where I can be the one and only pet. I really love having my people to myself and feel most comfortable in a calm, structured environment without other animals around. Cats are definitely not my thing, and I can get overstimulated around other dogs, so I’ll thrive best as your one-and-only sidekick. I also need thoughtful management around food and high-value items, so I’m looking for someone experienced, patient, and committed to continuing my training and helping me succeed. In return, you get a deeply loyal, affectionate dog who wants nothing more than to be near his person and included in daily life. With the right structure and consistency, I’m an incredibly rewarding dog. I’m affectionate, expressive, hilarious, and full of personality. I want a person who sees my potential, appreciates my giant-puppy energy, and wants a best friend to learn and grow alongside. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick, a big cuddle bug, and a dog who will absolutely lean his full body weight against you for pets… I might be your guy. — Brutus ##2681217##

Story
This is Kane. He had to flee NM after allegedly committing tax fraud, which is tough when you’re a 100-pound Rottweiler with no access to accounting software. He’s laying low now and rebuilding his life one chicken treat at a time. Kane is convinced he’s a lap dog. If you sit down, you’ve agreed to cuddles — it’s legally binding. He’s affectionate, smart, mildly dramatic, and very food motivated. He enjoys short, relaxed walks and exploring at his own pace. Recent X-rays showed severe arthritis in his front elbow from untreated elbow dysplasia (turns out crime doesn’t pay… especially for your joints). He’s currently comfortable, but an orthopedic consult would be a good idea, and he’ll likely need pain management as he ages. It doesn’t slow him down much — he just prefers the “retired mastermind” lifestyle over marathon training. If you’re looking for a big, loving, loyal companion who wants to be your shadow (and your lap dog), Kane is your guy. ##2666755##

Story
Hello, I'm Rumble! I'm a big lovable Rottie with a heart of gold for people!! According to my foster mom, I've got the heart of a big, playful puppy, and sometimes I forget that I'm a larger dog when I'm having a blast. So, if you have smaller dogs at home, we might just need a little adjustment period to get along famously. But here's the thing—when it comes to cats, I'm not the most purr-fect playmate, so if you've got a furry feline in the house, I might not be the ideal match. Now, if you believe you can provide me with a loving and caring home, please don't hesitate to apply today. And yes, I may be soaking up the Texas sunshine right now, but the good news is that I'm ready to hit the road and make my way to your heart and home. All it takes is a $230 transport fee, and I'll be on my way to becoming your loyal companion.Let's make it happen! Apply today, and let's embark on a journey of love and companionship together. Thank you for considering me for adoption! Online Application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $300).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Don Julio is a 4-year-old male Rottweiler with a strong presence and loyal nature. I raised him myself, and he’s been a steady companion through many life changes. He’s intelligent, alert, and naturally protective, but also has a playful side once he’s comfortable. He thrives with structure, routine, and a confident handler who understands large working breeds. Don Julio enjoys long walks, staying active, and being close to his person. He would do best as the only pet in a home with space, ideally a house with a yard. He needs someone experienced, patient, and consistent to help him reach his full potential. This is not an easy decision, but I want to ensure he’s placed in a stable, committed home where he can truly thrive. Adjectives: loyal, protective, intelligent, strong-willed, and playful.

Story
Meet Sabrina! From her foster: She’s been good with my cat, young kids, and other dogs. She can sometimes be a little too much for other dogs because she doesn’t take the cue when the other dog is done playing lol. But she lets me separate her without a fuss. She doesn’t love her crate, but is very good once she’s in. She’s mostly potty trained with only a few accidents. She still has lots of puppy energy and loves to play. She’s also great on a leash and very curious about the world around her. She’s food motivated and eager to learn her training   Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com/available-animals please note if you utilize an Iphone there are two scroll bars on the side of the screen to scroll down through available animals.   You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2741970##

PLEASE HELP US FIND A HOME FOR THESE TWO WONDERFUL DOBIE GIRLS   Meet Sida Bay (9) & Scarlett (11) Two gentle souls who have lost the only home they’ve ever known. These beautiful girls spent their entire lives with the woman who raised and adored them from puppyhood Then heartbreak struck when their beloved mom passed away. Suddenly, everything familiar was gone.  And through all of it… they have remained nothing but kind, loving, calm, and incredibly sweet Scarlett and Sida Bay are the kind of dogs who instantly make a house feel like home They don’t ask for much. A soft place to nap , a loving human nearby , and most importantly… each other They live beautifully with other dogs and currently share their foster home with two large resident dogs, a male and female.  They are house trained, respectful, social, easygoing, and genuinely delightful companions. At our PetSmart event, they quickly became fan favorites People were drawn to their calm, gentle energy and loving personalities. Even folks who “weren’t looking for a dog” found themselves stopping to spend time with them These girls are not demanding. No marathon hikes required They are perfectly content with short strolls, sunny naps , cozy beds , and simply being near the people they love. Sida Bay weighs 106 pounds of pure loyalty and affection Scarlett weighs 81 pounds and has the softest, sweetest soul Scarlett does have hypothyroidism, but it is very easy and inexpensive to manage The rescue will PAY for her medication! Her prescription is a generic thyroid medication that costs only about $17 for 120 tablets on Chewy. Heartworm negative Wonderful with people Great with other dogs Calm, social, affectionate seniors Bonded and deeply devoted to one another We know adopting senior dogs can feel like a big decision. We know adopting TWO senior Dobermans may seem even bigger. But please… don’t scroll past them These girls have already endured the loss of the person they loved most in the world.
