Story
0423111 - Aries is a friendly and fun Rottweiler.  She is around 1.5 years old and is about 60lbs. She loves treats and chewing on bones.  She was adopted but was returned almost a year later as she started to develop issues with one of the other dogs in her home so she would likely do best as an only dog, but does fine with other dogs out in public. She is also good with kids and doesn't seem to interested in cats.  She is house trained and knows how to use the dog door.  She has loved getting attention from everyone but can be a bit shy at first (more so of men then women) and she loves kids.  Aries walks nicely on a leash and likes to ride in the car, she has done very well with outings to the pet store, Lowe's and the car wash.  If you are interested in adopting her please complete an application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##1695394##

Story
Hi there, I'm Broly! I'm a sweet, friendly, and energetic fellow, ready to fill your life with joy. I get along great with kids over 8 years old and I'm a pro at walking with a no-pull harness. I'm all about being the center of attention, so I'd do best in a home where I'm the only dog. And treats? Oh boy, do I love treats! I'm always up for a tasty snack. Why should you adopt me? Well, I promise to be your loyal companion, always ready to make you smile with my playful antics and loving nature. Let's make some wonderful memories together!April 14, 2024, 9:48 pm

Puppies are a lot of fun, but also a lot of responsibility! Things you should be aware of before adopting a puppy from the Denver Animal Shelter:* Puppies will need regular socialization. The critical time period for socialization is between 8 and 16 weeks, but it is important to continue to socialize your new pup throughout their young life. This means having positive and enjoyable interactions with as many new people, new dogs, and new environments as possible. Appropriate socialization will help puppies grow into healthier and more social adults.* They will not know what is appropriate to chew on, where they should go to the bathroom, and how to behave in all situations. Puppies require a lot of time spent on training, management, and supervision. It is recommended that puppies be crate trained or kept in a puppy-proofed room of the house with appropriate chew toys and enrichment when not actively supervised. The Denver Animal Shelter always recommends positive reinforcement-based training methods. * Puppies in a shelter environment often have unknown parentage. While we make our best guesses on size and breed, we cannot guarantee their adult temperament, behavior, size, or characteristics.More about this puppy:No stopping until you visit with Brooklyn!!!Brooklyn is waiting for her forever home to teach her how to be a perfect dog. She has been learning lots here at the shelter and is slowly worming her way into all of our hearts. She is shy and needs a home with kids 12 and up so that she can come out of her shell. Come see the little girl that is stealing our attention; come see Brooklyn today!* Kids 12+ mandatory

Meet Chanel! With her vibrant personality and silly antics, Chanel is bound to bring a smile to your face and keep you on your toes with her playful energy. She is a very sweet low-rider who may be small in stature but has a big heart! She may be choosy about her canine friends, so bring any other dogs in the home down for a meet and greet! She is best suited for slightly older children. Ladybug is a dream come true and she cannot wait to join the family. What I Need In a Home;* Older children recommended

Story
This little sweetie is looking for someone with a big, big heart to take care of her. She's dealing with an autoimmune deficiency called Masticatory Muscle Myositis in which her immune system attacks the muscles around her mouth and head. All of this is manageable with a special diet and medication, but she's going to need someone who is ready for that responsibility. She's one of the kindest dogs I've ever met, very curious, and sweet as could be. If you're interested in meeting Coco, fill out an application here: https://acesangels.org/aceadopt.html

Shelter Visiting Hours are 12 pm to 4 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1981890##
