Gus is a 7year old full breed German Rottweiler. He is a sweet dog and would do best in a home with no kids no other pets. We have owned him since he was 8 weeks old. Our autistic son recently started having behavioral problems which often leads to loud screaming/crying and loud noises, this make Gus uneasy. He feels the need to be protective. We believe it would be better for our son and Gus if Gus was able to find a new home. Gus is very sweet and loves people, he is also very protective of the people he loves and dominate.

Roxy has been at the rescue for almost 3 years with no inquiries or applications. She is a great dog who absolutely loves people. She originally came to us when her owner died. She had not been socialized very well with other dogs and developed a prey drive for smaller animals. She does well with large dogs however and is fully potty trained as well as crate trained. She needs an owner who can help her live out her final years with nothing more than affection and attention. Please call or text to discuss an adoption fee as we just want her to have a good home.

In 2024 I was volunteering at a local animal shelter and absolutely fell in love with a mama dog who came in with 5 babies who all survived parvo. I brought her home hoping she would be a good companion to my current dog, but unfortunately their relationship did not grow. It has become clear in the last year and a half that they will not be friends and we believe there is a better home for Cheddar where she is the only dog. This girl loves nothing more than to snuggle, she could lay with you all day. She’s a great guard dog, and loves chasing squirrels and playing tug. She needs to be the only pet in your house. She has dog reactivity and a bite history with our other dog. Because of these behavioral complexities, it would be best for her to be in a house with only older children. A home visit and multiple meet and greets with her will be required to move forward with adoption. It’s our goal to find her a home where she can thrive.
