Story
Shayla is a dreamboat! She is super sweet, loves to cuddle, and has short bursts of energy where she gets the crazies and runs around the the house. She is discovering toys, but is not destructive. Shayla is very good on walks, both by herself and with the resident dog and she loves to roll in the snow! She is interested in cats and friendly with the resident dog. She is working on potty training - she hasn't had accidents in the house, but will hold it for a long, long time until she feels safe enough to go outdoors. She has no food guarding and is crate trained. She loves to be petted and is so happy to see you when you come home or get up in the morning, she will be your best friend in no time! Shayla is shy with new people and situations but seems curious. She is fearful of new things outdoors. ##2672437##

Story
Hello, I'm Rumble! I'm a big lovable Rottie with a heart of gold for people!! According to my foster mom, I've got the heart of a big, playful puppy, and sometimes I forget that I'm a larger dog when I'm having a blast. So, if you have smaller dogs at home, we might just need a little adjustment period to get along famously. But here's the thing—when it comes to cats, I'm not the most purr-fect playmate, so if you've got a furry feline in the house, I might not be the ideal match. Now, if you believe you can provide me with a loving and caring home, please don't hesitate to apply today. And yes, I may be soaking up the Texas sunshine right now, but the good news is that I'm ready to hit the road and make my way to your heart and home. All it takes is a $230 transport fee, and I'll be on my way to becoming your loyal companion.Let's make it happen! Apply today, and let's embark on a journey of love and companionship together. Thank you for considering me for adoption! Online Application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $300).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Meet Coco, a resilient and loving 9-year-old Rottweiler with a heart as big as her spirit. Despite living with Masticatory Muscle Myositis, an immune system disorder that affects her jaw muscles, Coco remains a joyful and athletic companion. This condition means she can’t open her mouth all the way, so she’s on a special home-cooked diet rich in meat and eggs to keep her strength up and takes a daily pill to manage her condition. Coco adores her walks and can be a bit of a puller on the leash if she spots another dog, but she’s always great with people. She’s super athletic and enjoys her time outdoors. Although she can’t play with toys or chew on treats due to her condition, she loves liquid treats and is happy and content in the car. A total sweetheart with a loving demeanor, Coco is also fine being left alone for periods. She’s looking for a compassionate home where she can continue to thrive and enjoy her walks, special meals, and the affection she so generously gives. If you’re ready to provide a warm and understanding environment, Coco will repay you with endless love and loyalty.

Story
Absolutely — here’s a shorter version that keeps the humor but includes the important medical info: This is Kane. He had to flee NM after allegedly committing tax fraud, which is tough when you’re a 100-pound Rottweiler with no access to accounting software. He’s laying low now and rebuilding his life one chicken treat at a time. Kane is convinced he’s a lap dog. If you sit down, you’ve agreed to cuddles — it’s legally binding. He’s affectionate, smart, mildly dramatic, and very food motivated. He enjoys short, relaxed walks and exploring at his own pace. Recent X-rays showed severe arthritis in his front elbow from untreated elbow dysplasia (turns out crime doesn’t pay… especially for your joints). He’s currently comfortable, but an orthopedic consult would be a good idea, and he’ll likely need pain management as he ages. It doesn’t slow him down much — he just prefers the “retired mastermind” lifestyle over marathon training. If you’re looking for a big, loving, loyal companion who wants to be your shadow (and your lap dog), Kane is your guy. ##2666755##

Story
Meet Gali — a perfectly balanced sweetheart looking for her forever home. We adopted Gali from a foster‑based rescue two weeks ago and instantly fell in love with her. She’s estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old, and our vet confirmed she’s perfectly healthy. Gali is incredibly smart, adapts easily, and has that wonderful mix of playful energy outdoors and total couch‑potato charm indoors. She’s fully housetrained with zero accidents and has been nothing but affectionate and eager to please. As much as we adore her, we’ve realized we were a bit more impulsive than we intended — and a bit “older than we thought” for a dog with her energy level. Gali deserves aWe adopted Gali from a foster rescue 2 weeks ago. We love her. She is very smart, easily adaptable, full of energy, yet quite a couch potato. Housetrained, no accidents... We realize now that we were somewhat impulsive in this decision, as we are 'older than we thought'. She is a sweetheart, but must go to a good home.
