Story
Meet Koala – Our Little Survivor with a Big Heart Koala is a 10-week-old rez puppy who, along with her sister Kalina, was found abandoned in a rural area at a gas station. This pretty little girl showed just how resilient and strong she is from the very start. Thankfully, she wasn’t alone for long — a kindhearted human scooped up the sisters and brought them to safety. She is a happy pup with a zest for adventure and living a fun life. With her slightly fluffy coat and beautiful black-and-tan markings, we believe she may be a Doberman, Australian Shepherd /  Shepherd or maybe Rottie mix — though as a true rez baby she’s likely a blend of many wonderful breeds. That special mix gives her the best of everything: a hearty constitution, a well-balanced temperament, and a one-of-a-kind look that makes her unforgettable. Koala is exactly what you’d expect from a happy, thriving puppy. She is affectionate, devoted, and eager to soak up all the love and experiences life has to offer. Every day brings something new, and she’s looking for a family who will include her in their adventures, continue her learning, and help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.  If you’re searching for a resilient, loving companion to share your everyday life, Koala is ready to meet you. YOU CAN SEE MORE PICS & VIDEOS ON OUR WEBSITE: https://www.circle2rescue.com/available-pets/  Petfinder limits the number of pics & videos. If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $350 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2669649##

Story
Hello, I'm Rumble! I'm a big lovable Rottie with a heart of gold for people!! According to my foster mom, I've got the heart of a big, playful puppy, and sometimes I forget that I'm a larger dog when I'm having a blast. So, if you have smaller dogs at home, we might just need a little adjustment period to get along famously. But here's the thing—when it comes to cats, I'm not the most purr-fect playmate, so if you've got a furry feline in the house, I might not be the ideal match. Now, if you believe you can provide me with a loving and caring home, please don't hesitate to apply today. And yes, I may be soaking up the Texas sunshine right now, but the good news is that I'm ready to hit the road and make my way to your heart and home. All it takes is a $230 transport fee, and I'll be on my way to becoming your loyal companion.Let's make it happen! Apply today, and let's embark on a journey of love and companionship together. Thank you for considering me for adoption! Online Application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $300).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Puppies are a lot of fun, but also a lot of responsibility! Things you should be aware of before adopting a puppy from the Denver Animal Shelter:* Puppies will need regular socialization. The critical time period for socialization is between 8 and 16 weeks, but it is important to continue to socialize your new pup throughout their young life. This means having positive and enjoyable interactions with as many new people, new dogs, and new environments as possible. Appropriate socialization will help puppies grow into healthier and more social adults.* They will not know what is appropriate to chew on, where they should go to the bathroom, and how to behave in all situations. Puppies require a lot of time spent on training, management, and supervision. It is recommended that puppies be crate trained or kept in a puppy-proofed room of the house with appropriate chew toys and enrichment when not actively supervised. The Denver Animal Shelter always recommends positive reinforcement-based training methods. * Puppies in a shelter environment often have unknown parentage. While we make our best guesses on size and breed, we cannot guarantee their adult temperament, behavior, size, or characteristics.

Story
This is Kane. He had to flee NM after allegedly committing tax fraud, which isn’t easy when you are a 100-pound Rottweiler with limited access to financial software. The good news is he’s laying low now and focusing on rebuilding his life, one chicken treat at a time. Don’t let his size fool you, he’s all heart and fully convinced he’s a lap dog. If you sit down, you’ve agreed to cuddles, it’s a contract. Kane enjoys short walks, exploring his new city at a relaxed pace and keeping a respectful distance from the IRS. Despite his size, he has good manners on a leash and will continue to improve with consistency. He’s crate-savvy and content relaxing in his space with the door open, where he can reflect on his past financial decisions. Personality-wise, Kane is affectionate, smart, confident, and calm. He believes being part of a family means being involved in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s reading, folding laundry, or Googling “what are taxes”. He is smart, mildly dramatic and food motivated. Kane would thrive with adopters who appreciate a big, smart, loving dog who enjoys both adventures and couch time. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who’s equal parts lap dog, shadow, and white-collar criminal mastermind, Kane is your guy. ##2666755##

Meet Miss Liberty! She is the sweetest dog who absolutely loves people. She is good with other dogs, friendly but somewhat indifferent. Have not seen her with a cat but she does have a prey drive with squirrels and bunnies. She is good on a leash and is overall potty trained, has not had any accidents so far. She is learning obedience commands but knows sit and will settle into her crate easily. She is a Velcro dog looking for her person to bond with!!! ##2567519##

Story
Meet Coco, a resilient and loving 9-year-old Rottweiler with a heart as big as her spirit. Despite living with Masticatory Muscle Myositis, an immune system disorder that affects her jaw muscles, Coco remains a joyful and athletic companion. This condition means she can’t open her mouth all the way, so she’s on a special home-cooked diet rich in meat and eggs to keep her strength up and takes a daily pill to manage her condition. Coco adores her walks and can be a bit of a puller on the leash if she spots another dog, but she’s always great with people. She’s super athletic and enjoys her time outdoors. Although she can’t play with toys or chew on treats due to her condition, she loves liquid treats and is happy and content in the car. A total sweetheart with a loving demeanor, Coco is also fine being left alone for periods. She’s looking for a compassionate home where she can continue to thrive and enjoy her walks, special meals, and the affection she so generously gives. If you’re ready to provide a warm and understanding environment, Coco will repay you with endless love and loyalty.
