Ah some fresh air! A little walk, a couple of zoomies in a play yard and I’m ready for belly rubs. Then let’s walk a little more, some sniffing here and there and of course I always stop to look at people when they talk to me. I love all the attention I can get. So now that you are seeing my online picture, imagine me with my big head of your lap, relaxing with you and just enjoying all these special moments of being together. I’m not too much into sharing my people with other pets but that’s just because I have so much love to give. I’d prefer a home with not too much commotion. I’m also pretty smart – get me to sit and stay, throw a treat and then ask me to find it. I always succeed….I have to say that I really like food. My tail is wagging in anticipation of meeting my new family.

Brucie is a very handsome, young boy looking for a forever home of his own. We believe he is a Boxer mix, sporting a very attractive brindle coat. We estimate Brucie’s date of birth at February 10, 2021. At the time of this posting he is just under two years old. He is about 60 lbs. Brucie loves people and is very affectionate. Given his size and energy level, he would not be an ideal canine companion for younger children. We expect children over the age of 12 would be ok. And of course, an all-adult home would be perfect for Brucie! Brucie is very active and energetic, and sometimes can get carried away with his play. He loves running in the secure, fenced yard of his foster home. He keeps himself entertained; he would not do well in a dog park or day care. An ideal home for Brucie is one in which he can thrive as an only dog, with a family experienced with larger dogs who sometimes can get out of hand. Brucie’s only “watch-out” is that he can be a bit of a resource guarder with his food and bones, but this issue can readily be managed as he gets to know his new family and as they learn more about him!! As is the case with all young, larger dogs, Brucie would greatly benefit from obedience training which can also be a bonding experience with his new family. No doubt, Brucie has the potential to evolve into the perfect pup, but is looking for that family willing to commit to him and provide him the forever home he deserves. Brucie is fully vetted, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered & microchipped and on year-round heartworm prevention. Jellybean is a tiny little bundle of joy who’s currently living life exactly the way a puppy should: playing hard, exploring everything around him, and making sure there’s never a dull moment. One minute he’s proudly carrying around a toy like he just completed an important mission, and the next he’s sitting there looking up at you with those sweet little eyes like he hasn’t caused a bit of mischief all day. Jellybean is exactly what you’d expect from a young puppy: playful, curious, wiggly, and full of love. He’s at that fun age where his personality is starting to shine through more and more each day. Everything is exciting, every toy is an adventure, and every new experience is something worth investigating. Despite coming from a rough beginning, you’d never know it looking at him now. Iverson is such a good boy. He is really good with kids, very gentle with smaller kids. He is very good with all other pets. We have introduced him to other dogs, cats, a ferret, a hamster. He listens really well. He aims to make his owner proud so if he does something wrong, he only has to be told once to stop. He is house broken. He knows a few tricks. He sits with a snap of a finger. When hand feeding or giving treats, he is gentle when you tell him to be. He is truly such an amazing companion and it saddens me to have to rehome him. I really want him to go to a good loving home. All you have to do is meet him and I promise you, you will fall inlove.
