PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW. Rosa is a mature adult Rotteweiler who may be 7-9 years old and weighs about 90 pounds. Even though Rosa was missing some hair and hasn't been taken the best care of, someone taught her how to sit and shake hands. She's a sensitive girl who was been upset by losing her family and is comforted by the presense of her foster mom. She would even happier in her very own home with a new family!Rosa is a strong girl who will need a physically capable adopter as she can pull pretty hard on leash. She has been reactive to other dogs and cats in her foster home so being an only child will set her up to be the most successful! We know there are so many great people out there how love rotties! We just need to find one that will give Rosa the happy ending we want for her!A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Rosa, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs!Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Your “up for anything” kind of gal. Akasha is a 2 year old, 50ish lbs spayed Rottie mix. She’s an active girlie who needs equal parts exercise/playtime as well as snuggle downtime. She is crate trained, has a good appetite, and likes to play with toys. Akasha is fairly confident overall, and any time she shows shyness she recovers quite quickly. She is comfortable with handling and just an overall good girlie. Needs some work on leash walking and polite greeting (which we’ll be doing) but she settled into her foster home like a champ. Seems dog social but waiting to test until medically cleared. Someone will be so lucky to do life with this little lady, she will bring someone a lot of joy

Located in Lovettsville, VA Hi, I’m Briella! 🐾 I’m a beautiful Rottie/Hound mix with a playful personality and a lot of love to give. Toys are one of my absolute favorite things, and I’m quite the talker when I have something to say! I do wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and would really benefit from having a confident canine friend in my forever home. I’m still working on my socialization and can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations, but I’m making great progress and warm up quickly once I realize I’m safe. I'm even working with a foster who is also a dog trainer! One place I already feel completely comfortable is my crate — I’m a crate-training superstar and will even go in on my own when I want to relax. Young children are especially scary for me right now, so I’m looking for a home without little ones. Older, dog-savvy kids in their early teens or above may be a good fit. Because I can be nervous and may try to bolt when frightened, my new family will need to be extra careful about keeping me secure. A fenced yard is strongly encouraged and would give me a safe place to build confidence and explore. I’m looking for a patient family who understands that I may need a little time to feel safe. A secure home, plenty of toys, and ideally a doggy sibling to show me the ropes would be just about perfect. Give me a little patience and love, and I’ll show you just how sweet, silly and special I can be. ❤️

He trained me on lots of commands , like sit /stay /down /shake /out /in /back up /eat /drop /speak /up / go pee I am very smart and I learn fast , I like a lot affection and treats . I am used to eat kibbles or house food like chicken meat left over rice pasta or vegs . I like to eat my owner keep my plate full till around 7 pm that my last meal and last time I go potty 10 pm . I sleep in my crate . I don’t have separation problem . As long as I pooped and pee good before you go out . I can stay in my carte till you return home . I don’t bark a lot but when I do cause I need something . My power have two little boys 4 and 2 years I am sweet and good with toddlers just some times I move fast for them so they can trip over me . I am aware of strangers . I never bitten any one .

Meet Reyna — this queen is part Rottweiler, part athlete, part professional couch companion, and 100% good girl. Reyna is beautiful, low-shedding, crate trained, potty trained, and walks on a leash like she personally watched every episode of The Dog Whisperer. She loves running, hiking, swimming, fetch, and basically any activity preferred by those mysterious people who voluntarily do cardio when absolutely no one is chasing them. She’s great with kids and medium- to large-sized dogs. However, in true Rottie fashion, Reyna firmly believes squirrels, cats, and other tiny fast-moving creatures are highly suspicious and should be investigated at full speed. Because of this, a home without cats is a must. The squirrels, however, have been warned and remain fair game. After a full day — or at least a good walk and a game of fetch — this gal is more than happy to crash on the couch with her people for cuddles and a full-on Love Island binge session. Athletic, gorgeous… and emotionally available? Honestly, Reyna is setting unrealistic standards for the rest of us. Scrappy loves to run, play, and explore, and would be a good companion for hiking trips and other outdoor activities. He is very food motivated (and prefers to eat alone) and could use some obedience/leash training paired with regular play time and exercise.
