We took Zara in this past December from friends of ours. She is very sweet and great with the family. Zara is a year and half old with lots of energy. We are realizing she deserves more property and space then we have . We keep her active with multiple walks a day but would love to see her go to a loving home with lots of property for her to run and live a long thriving life .

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- ROSA IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR ANOTHER RESCUE ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW. Rosa is a mature adult Rotteweiler who may be 7-9 years old and weighs about 90 pounds. Even though Rosa was missing some hair and hasn't been taken the best care of, someone taught her how to sit and shake hands. She's a sensitive girl who was been upset by losing her family and is comforted by the presense of her foster mom. She would even happier in her very own home with a new family!Rosa is a strong girl who will need a physically capable adopter as she can pull pretty hard on leash. She has been reactive to other dogs and cats in her foster home so being an only child will set her up to be the most successful! We know there are so many great people out there how love rotties! We just need to find one that will give Rosa the happy ending we want for her!A reduced adoption fee of $100 does apply for Rosa, our seniors, special medical and behavioral needs dogs and other 'slow to adopt' dogs!Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. She does best with a patient family who will give her time to adjust and let her come to new experiences at her own pace. Baby Girl has a strong prey drive and must go to a cat-free home. Located in Lovettsville, VA Hi, I’m Brielle! 🐾 I’m a beautiful Rottie/Hound mix with a playful personality and a lot of love to give. Toys are one of my absolute favorite things, and I’m quite the talker when I have something to say! I do wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and would really benefit from having a confident canine friend in my forever home. I’m still working on my socialization and can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations, but I’m making great progress and warm up quickly once I realize I’m safe. One place I already feel completely comfortable is my crate — I’m a crate-training superstar and will even go in on my own when I want to relax. Young children are especially scary for me right now, so I’m looking for a home without little ones. Older, dog-savvy kids in their early teens or above may be a good fit. Because I can be nervous and may try to bolt when frightened, my new family will need to be extra careful about keeping me secure. A fenced yard is strongly encouraged and would give me a safe place to build confidence and explore. I’m looking for a patient family who understands that I may need a little time to feel safe. A secure home, plenty of toys, and ideally a doggy sibling to show me the ropes would be just about perfect. Give me a little patience and love, and I’ll show you just how sweet, silly and special I can be. ❤️

Zeus is a loving big dog. He is scared of fireworks, storms and fire. He loves to snuggle and lau on your feet. He know commands sit, laydown and roll over. He can also howl lol. He does have a tendency to chase cars so we always take him out for night walks. You always have to let him come to you not the other way. We love him but jist are too busy these days to keep him. Want him in a loving home. Somewhere with a yard also for him to explore.

Hi my name is rocky , my current owner got me when I was 10 weeks from an Amish breeder , he took care of me gave me all my shots and I am a microchip with a lifetime licence . He trained me on lots of commands , like sit /stay /down /shake /out /in /back up /eat /drop /speak /up / go pee I am very smart and I learn fast , I like a lot affection and treats . I am used to eat kibbles or house food like chicken meat left over rice pasta or vegs . I like to eat my owner keep my plate full till around 7 pm that my last meal and last time I go potty 10 pm . I sleep in my crate . I don’t have separation problem . As long as I pooped and pee good before you go out . I can stay in my carte till you return home . I don’t bark a lot but when I do cause I need something . My power have two little boys 4 and 2 years I am sweet and good with toddlers just some times I move fast for them so they can trip over me . I am aware of strangers . I never bitten any one .
