Story
Meet Reba — a big, goofy girl who is absolutely convinced she’s an eight-pound Chihuahua! 😂 Her favorite place in the world is right in your lap, and she’s always ready for a full-contact cuddle session. Reba is a sweet, playful girl with great manners and an even greater appreciation for food. She loves kids, enjoys playing with other dogs, and would make a fantastic companion for a family looking for a fun-loving dog who is equally happy adventuring or snuggling on the couch. Cats, however, are a definite no for Reba. This smart girl is fully house trained, and crate trained and already knows commands like “sit” and “lay down.” She walks nicely on a leash and has proven she can be quite the little lady in public, too — she recently took a trip to Lowe’s and was on her best behavior! 🛒🐾 Reba is affectionate, silly, food motivated, and always ready to be part of whatever her people are doing. If you have room in your home — and more importantly, on your lap — for one big sweetheart with a tiny-dog mentality, Reba may be your girl! ❤️ Reba’s adoption fee is $400 and includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip. Story
Meet Tina, a sweet, tenderhearted girl who may be a little bashful at first, but give her a little time and reassurance and you’ll quickly see her playful, affectionate personality shine through! ❤️ Tina loves playing with other dogs and does great with kids. She’s a bit of an indoor homebody at heart, though — after some fun and playtime, she’s perfectly happy heading inside to relax. Her crate is actually one of her favorite places and serves as her cozy little safe haven. This sweet girl is fully house trained and crate trained and already knows “sit” and “lay down.” She’s also a serious food enthusiast, which makes treats a great way to win her heart! Tina has an adorably goofy side, too. When she gets moving at full speed, her brakes don’t always cooperate, so an occasional run-in with a doorway is just part of her charm. 😂 Tina would love a patient family who will give her a little time to feel comfortable and then enjoy all the love she has to give. She does well with dogs and kids but needs a cat-free home. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal girl with a sweet soul, a goofy streak, and a whole lot of love waiting to come out, Tina may be your perfect match! 🐾 Tina’s adoption fee is $400 and includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip. Story
Mamma’s GirlMEET JELLY!   She is gorgeous. She is polite. She is dogs-of-all-sizes-friendly and loves her people hard. This young lady is blossoming under our very eyes and is filling out from her very underweight initial condition when she was found as a stray. Now in a loving and structured foster home, this knock out is quickly becoming part of the family unit and is making herself a part of the three-dog pack. She runs, plays, takes structured walks with, and relaxes with the resident and visiting dogs. We can’t be happier for how life is turning out for her!   Jellyfish is a natural beauty with a long tail and the most soulful eyes. She is slowly gaining the weight she should and is now about 65 lbs and approximately 1 year old. Housebroken and non-destructive, she has earned supervised access to her foster home and her foster brothers are teaching her two extremely important household skills: Relaxation and neighborhood watch. If Foster Mom is around, however, she would prefer to abandon her post and sit nearby.    Miss Jelly has had a few outings and not only did great in the car (mostly looks out the window) but was wonderful meeting new people and was sweet with all of the new humans she met. She has met kids ranging in age from 3 to 12 while on leash and happily accepted pets from all adults (men and women alike), although she sometimes still shows shy behavior around Foster Dad who is the biggest/tallest of the bunch. Due to her large size (she is also still growing) we think it would be best to go to a home with children over the age of 10 so she doesn’t accidentally knock anyone over. (She has a VERY enthusiastic greeting that Foster Mom is working on tampering down a bit.)   Jellyfish’s adoption donation fee is $500, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for her by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org.  Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.   More about Jellyfish Up-to-date with vaccinations Good with dogs House trained Crate trained Spayed August 20, 2026, 4:52 pm
