Story
https://foha.org/pet/mason/ Hi there! I'm Mason! I certainly am an adorable Rottie mix who loves and plays hard. I am a pro when it comes to games of fetch. I'll perform all sorts of acrobats, even jumping in the air and twisting in every direction to catch a ball! I'm even learning to bring the balls back! I love car (or truck) rides. And I never met a trail that I did not want to explore. I meet everyone at my kennel with either a toy in my mouth or my food bowl. I am so happy to show them off to everyone. I have a full body wiggle when my favorite people are coming to get me out for a walk. I like other dogs with proper introductions. When I find a dog I like, I'll run & play until we're both dizzy with exhaustion. I'm a true "ladies man and would thrive in a home with another delightful female companion. I can be a bit shy at first, but then turn on that southern charm. I need an experienced owner and I need to be introduced to strangers slowly. But once I trust, I will enjoy cuddling in your lap. If you are willing and able to put the time into training me I will be sure to do my best to learn. Like most Rotties, I form strong bonds with those I love. I'm what they call a "diamond-in-the-ruff who will make a great life-long companion. I have been waiting a long time for my forever home. Loving, loyal, full of life. Come meet me!

Story
https://foha.org/pet/tara2024/ Tara here—a big, beautiful girl with soulful eyes that could tell a story if only I could speak. I wish I could share what my previous life was like, but my friends at FOHA think it wasn’t the best. You see, I was used to make puppies and, when I was no longer needed, I was cast aside. I’m a little slow to warm up to new people, but I’m starting to realize that everyone here at FOHA is kind and wants the best for me. Even so, being in the shelter can be scary, and what I really long for is a home of my own—a place where I’ll feel safe, loved, and wanted. If you have a quiet space and a patient heart, I’d love the chance to meet you. Maybe you’ll be the one to give me the happy ending I deserve. 🐾

Story
Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. She has no issues being left alone in the home. Would you be the family she has been waiting on? We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
This boy is the last of the litter still looking for a home. He is very friendly, loves to play and would love an active family. He gets along with other dogs and doesn't have to be the alpha. He will need all the puppy training as he's never been inside of a house. He is a quick learner and is learning manners when greeting people (he's a bit jumpy). He is a fun boy who just wants to have a good time. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported through Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
Hi 👋 This is Deebo. He’s a 5 year old Rottweiler. Unfortunately, I cannot keep Deebo. I just had a baby this year and I feel like I am not giving him the life he deserves. He deserves to have the space he needs. Deebo is used to being with people in the same room and not blocked off. Unfortunately, because I have a baby who plays in his play Matt I can’t let Deebo be in the living room. He is currently staying in the kitchen and has access to my backyard. I don’t take him on walks like before because I work and have to be with my baby. I want Deebo to go to a family or individual who will love Deebo and give him the space he needs and take him on walks everyday. He loves walks! He’s such a good dog. He is house trained. Deebo will let you know when he wants food, water, or to go outside. Anyone who adopts Deebo will be gaining a best friend. There is no adoption fee for Deebo because truly all I want is for him to go to a loving home.
