To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event she will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/ (*please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending which events* Meet Gordon. This big lug is a relaxed, playful companion. He is a perfect gentleman in his kennel, calm and happy to receive affection. While he generally walks well on a leash, he occasionally pulls lightly if he's in a hurry or spots something interesting – like tasty, tasty treats. He has been friendly with the dogs and people he meets. Gordon loves a good toy, tossing it around and making it squeak. He is happy to play tug with you and then lie down and receive gentle rubs. Gordon is also an outdoorsman; he enjoys climbing and will be a great hiking companion. This sweet love bug is a big boy so he would do better in a home with older kids who can manage a strong dog.

To learn more about Judd, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org. Judd will be attending one of our adoption events coming up this weekend! To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event he will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/. (*Please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending each event.*) Meet Judd, who’s a real stud—handsome, sweet, and strong! This 2-year-old Rottie mix is friendly and outgoing, with a heart of gold! Wherever he goes, he loves to make friends—both 2- and 4-legged! This fun-loving guy must think he’s a hound because he has a bit of a nose for adventure. On walks, he takes his time sniffing out his surroundings, always on the hunt for something new and interesting to explore. He gets very excited to meet new dog pals and can start to pull, but that’s just because he’s so eager to meet a new buddy. But with some guidance, leash training, and yummy treats, which he will more than happily sit for, Judd will be politely strutting his stuff in no time. As strong and excitable as Judd is, we recommend that he go to a home with older kids who can keep up with his playful, high-energy nature. This good-looking, lively boy is ready to find a loving home where he can continue to grow, explore, and share his endless enthusiasm for life. Is that home with you?

She would do best in a home without children or other pets, as she enjoys being the center of your world. While Liberty can get along with some dogs, she is selective about her canine companions and prefers to choose her friends. She’s housebroken, well-behaved, and walks beautifully on a leash. With a medium energy level, Liberty loves her outings but also knows how to unwind and relax when it's time to settle down. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cherish your company, Liberty might be the perfect fit!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
We are moving overseas for a temporary job and looking to rehome our beloved pup Archie until we return in January 2026. We adopted Archie in 2014 and he's now the most puppy-faced 10-year-old boy you've ever seen (seriously, we still get stopped on the street constantly asking if he's a puppy!). He has been a loyal companion, witnessing our family grow as we married and welcomed two human babies, now ages 6 and 2. Archie is a top-notch snuggler, full of energy on walks, and incredibly patient with little ones. Until very recently he would run his little heart out at the dog park, consistently faster than dogs half his age. Having spent the first year of his life in shelters, however, he does come with some baggage and still experiences separation anxiety. Archie would do best in a home with at least one person home the majority of the time and/or with another dog to keep him company. He is house-trained, but resists the crate. Please consider taking in our special guy!

Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes.
