Story
Meet Thor — a loyal, affectionate, and playful 2-year-old Rottweiler who’s ready to win your heart. Thor is incredibly friendly: he loves playing outdoors, chasing balls, and spending long afternoons running around. He adores interacting with other dogs, making him a perfect fit for a home with a canine companion or someone who frequents dog parks. With kids, Thor is a gentle giant — patient, sweet, and protective. He has been around children and always shows a calm, loving demeanor. He’s not just strong; he’s sensitive, too — quick to cuddle and eager to be part of family moments. From a health standpoint, Thor has his vaccinations fully up to date and is in excellent shape. His veterinary records are ready to go so his new family knows exactly where he stands. The reason for rehoming is not because of behavior — it's purely a life change: his current owner is relocating for school, and, heartbreakingly, won’t be able to give Thor the time and space he deserves.

She would do best in a home without children or other pets, as she enjoys being the center of your world. While Liberty can get along with some dogs, she is selective about her canine companions and prefers to choose her friends. She’s housebroken, well-behaved, and walks beautifully on a leash. With a medium energy level, Liberty loves her outings but also knows how to unwind and relax when it's time to settle down. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cherish your company, Liberty might be the perfect fit!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. This lovely girl walks beautifully on leash and has such a calm, pleasant personality. With her thick, wavy, rowdy coat and soulful eyes, she’s a total head-turner.This sweet mama has clearly given so much in her life, and now it’s her turn to be spoiled with love, comfort, and all the snuggles she deserves. Story
Unique is a female Rottweiler/Spaniel (maybe Cocker)/and maybe Bulldog mix born about October 6, 2025. She is a very unique seal color—she’s not black and she’s not grey. That’s how she got her name! Very cute and energetic. Started out in life as a puppy should be, with all eight brothers and sisters rolling around and playing together, while being well cared for at a foster home. Started on vaccinations and worming. Adoption fee $95. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: https://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/dog-adoption-application/ We are located in Western North Carolina.     Optional transport is weekly.  After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.    December 6, 2025, 8:27 pm

Story
Hi there! Im Vela, andIm ready to roll into my next adventure! Everyone I meet says that I'm the sweetest girl ever! I love to explore, play, get bum scratches, and make my people laugh with my goofy antics and curious nature. I get along great with other dogs and really enjoy their company, but Im also happy doing my own thing when its time to relax. Whether were out on a hike or hanging out at home, Ill bring fun, joy, and a little bit of mischief to every moment we share. The nice folks at RDR will update my profile when they learn more about me. I cannot wait to find a forever home where I can share all the love I've got to give. Please visit our website www.ruraldogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing dog and to see other dogs available for adoption!

Story
Stella is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Stella is one of the most low maintenance fosters I've ever had the pleasure of helping find a forever home. From being a shy, scared, and timid girl to being confident, secure, and well-mannered, Stella has grown so much in the 2+ years I've known her; although the vacuum cleaner is still enemy #1. Stella has lived in all types of settings: in a busy city, in an apartment, on a quiet street, with dogs, with reactive dogs, and easily adapted to her home environment. She is crate trained and LOVES having a bed in her crate to curl up into a donut while you're at work. She knows every basic command like sit, down, touch, stay and is fully potty trained. Stella's favorite toy is a lambie, or something else that is tiny that she can carry around in her mouth. Once, she took care of an egg for 6 hours before it broke, she's the most gentle creature. Stella is made of love and French fries. There's nothing more that she wants than to be inside with her people, cuddled up on the couch with a show, or playing sous chef in a calm kitchen. She takes awhile to warm up to her people, but with some french fires (her favorite is Burger King), some space, and a bit of patience, she'll love you unconditionally and will likely knock you over from wagging her tail and wiggling so hard with excitement every time she sees you. Although Stella is a perfect girl in the home, on leash, and with other dogs, she is scared of human strangers, especially masculine presenting people, and will need a strong advocate to help keep her safe. If you're looking for a great addition to your calm and cozy life with unconditional love to give, Stella is the gal for you. Stella would do best living with queer folks, a home without cis-gendered men, without cats, and without small children. ATTRIBUTES: Stella has lived in foster with other dogs, but can not go to a home with kids, cats, or cis-gendered men. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. We strive to provide accurate information on all of our animals however, we are unable to guarantee an animal's breed, size, health, behavior, temperament, or any other conditions. Our adoption fees are not inclusive of all vetting / medical care, food, supplies and/or training costs. Since we rely on donations to compensate for those deficits we are unable to reduce or refund this fee. TO ADOPT OR FOSTER: Please apply on our website at www.lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org or email info@lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org if you have questions! TO DONATE: Please consider making a donation on our website at www.lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org so that Laila's Legacy can continue to provide lifesaving medical treatment and training.
