Story
https://foha.org/pet/mason/ Hi there! I'm Mason! I certainly am an adorable Rottie mix who loves and plays hard. I am a pro when it comes to games of fetch. I'll perform all sorts of acrobats, even jumping in the air and twisting in every direction to catch a ball! I'm even learning to bring the balls back! I love car (or truck) rides. And I never met a trail that I did not want to explore. I meet everyone at my kennel with either a toy in my mouth or my food bowl. I am so happy to show them off to everyone. I have a full body wiggle when my favorite people are coming to get me out for a walk. I like other dogs with proper introductions. When I find a dog I like, I'll run & play until we're both dizzy with exhaustion. I'm a true "ladies man and would thrive in a home with another delightful female companion. I can be a bit shy at first, but then turn on that southern charm. I need an experienced owner and I need to be introduced to strangers slowly. But once I trust, I will enjoy cuddling in your lap. If you are willing and able to put the time into training me I will be sure to do my best to learn. Like most Rotties, I form strong bonds with those I love. I'm what they call a "diamond-in-the-ruff who will make a great life-long companion. I have been waiting a long time for my forever home. Loving, loyal, full of life. Come meet me!

Story
Meet Petunia! Age: 7 Months | Breed: Boxer Mix | Coat: Short & Sleek Say hello to Petunia — the kind of dog who wins your heart the moment she walks through the door. This sweet seven-month-old Boxer mix has a personality so gentle and loving that it's nearly impossible not to fall for her instantly. Whether she's trotting happily on a leash, chasing a ball across the yard, or curling up close to her favorite person, Petunia is exactly the kind of companion who makes every day a little brighter. At seven months old, Petunia is fully embracing her puppy era — curious, playful, and always ready for the next adventure. She loves to explore her surroundings and has a natural enthusiasm for life that is both charming and contagious. Like any good puppy, she appreciates having plenty of toys on hand to keep those busy jaws occupied, and she thrives when her energy is channeled through regular walks, outdoor playtime, and consistent structure. The good news? She's already making incredible strides. Petunia is almost fully housebroken, has been making impressive progress with her basic commands, and settles in beautifully in her crate at night. She's the kind of puppy who genuinely wants to do well — and it shows. Her short, sleek coat is easy to maintain with only minimal shedding, making her a relatively low-maintenance girl in the grooming department. But at the end of the day, what truly sets Petunia apart is her heart. She loves her people deeply and just wants to be close to them. She'll spend the afternoon playing fetch and exploring outside, then happily curl up beside you when the day winds down. If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and deeply loving companion who will keep you smiling all day and cuddle you all night — Petunia just might be your perfect match.  Adoption fee: $525, includes spay, 2 DAPP, Rabies, deworming, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
I’m an 8-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. My life was turned upside down when my old family left me at a high-intake shelter, but my foster mom helped me heal, feel safe again, and remember what it’s like to be loved. Now I’m ready to find a forever family who won’t ever give up on me. I’m a polite girl with great house manners — I only chew on my toys (never shoes!), and I absolutely love squeaky toys and cozy donut beds. I’m also a champion sleeper and perfectly happy to snooze in with you on quiet mornings. Walks are one of my favorite things! Long, sniffy walks make me so happy, and I’m a wonderful adventure buddy. Sometimes I get a little reactive when I see other dogs on leash, but I’m learning every day. With some patience and positive training, I might even enjoy living with another dog after slow introductions. I adore people and I can’t wait to become someone’s loyal best friend. I’m healthy, spayed, and so excited to start my next chapter. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, toy-collecting snugglebug who’s ready to be your whole world… I think we should meet. Love, Hunie. Adoption fee: $375, includes first 2 DAPP, bordetella, sterilized, heartworm test, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
