I'll perform all sorts of acrobats, even jumping in the air and twisting in every direction to catch a ball! I'm even learning to bring the balls back! I love car (or truck) rides. And I never met a trail that I did not want to explore. I meet everyone at my kennel with either a toy in my mouth or my food bowl. I am so happy to show them off to everyone. I have a full body wiggle when my favorite people are coming to get me out for a walk. I like other dogs with proper introductions. When I find a dog I like, I'll run & play until we're both dizzy with exhaustion. I'm a true "ladies man and would thrive in a home with another delightful female companion. I can be a bit shy at first, but then turn on that southern charm. I need an experienced owner and I need to be introduced to strangers slowly. But once I trust, I will enjoy cuddling in your lap. If you are willing and able to put the time into training me I will be sure to do my best to learn. Like most Rotties, I form strong bonds with those I love. Jazzy was born in April 2023. Not sure of the exact date. The previous owner adopted her from a shelter in Baltimore, Maryland. Still needs some training with other dogs and people. She gets excited with people and other dogs. She is crate trained. She knows sit and paw. She loves going on walks and sniffs everything. She barks and/or whines at other dogs while walking to meet them. Jazzy likes to cuddle. She doesn’t like home baths, so she goes to a professional. I basically sponge bathe her and be extremely gentle with her paws. She needs her nails clipped. She destroys her stuffed animals almost immediately. She’s an amazing dog.

I’m an 8-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. My life was turned upside down when my old family left me at a high-intake shelter, but my foster mom helped me heal, feel safe again, and remember what it’s like to be loved. Now I’m ready to find a forever family who won’t ever give up on me. I’m a polite girl with great house manners — I only chew on my toys (never shoes!), and I absolutely love squeaky toys and cozy donut beds. I’m also a champion sleeper and perfectly happy to snooze in with you on quiet mornings. Walks are one of my favorite things! Long, sniffy walks make me so happy, and I’m a wonderful adventure buddy. Sometimes I get a little reactive when I see other dogs on leash, but I’m learning every day. With some patience and positive training, I might even enjoy living with another dog after slow introductions. I adore people and I can’t wait to become someone’s loyal best friend.
