Story
Meet Baby Girl! ❤️ Baby Girl is a sweet, silly Rottweiler who loves being near her people. Once she gets to know you, she becomes your constant shadow and loves scratches, pets, and attention. She is completely house-trained and does well when left home alone. Baby Girl enjoys other dogs and loves to play, especially with her foster's dog. She has also been wonderful with children and is very gentle with them. Baby Girl enjoys walks and does well on a leash and harness once they're on. She is a sensitive girl who can be nervous around loud noises, sudden movements, and unfamiliar situations. She does best with a patient family who will give her time to adjust and let her come to new experiences at her own pace. Baby Girl has a strong prey drive and must go to a cat-free home. A friendly, confident dog may be a great companion for her. Baby Girl has so much love to give once she knows she's safe. She may need a little extra patience in the beginning, but underneath her cautious exterior is a sweet, goofy girl who simply wants to feel loved and belong. She is waiting for someone who will see the wonderful dog she is, give her a chance, and let her become the devoted companion she was meant to be. Could you be the person Baby Girl has been waiting for?

Story
Located in Lovettsville, VA Hi, I’m Briella! 🐾 I’m a beautiful Rottie/Hound mix with a playful personality and a lot of love to give. Toys are one of my absolute favorite things, and I’m quite the talker when I have something to say! I do wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and would really benefit from having a confident canine friend in my forever home. I’m still working on my socialization and can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations, but I’m making great progress and warm up quickly once I realize I’m safe. I'm even working with a foster who is also a dog trainer! One place I already feel completely comfortable is my crate — I’m a crate-training superstar and will even go in on my own when I want to relax. Young children are especially scary for me right now, so I’m looking for a home without little ones. Older, dog-savvy kids in their early teens or above may be a good fit. Because I can be nervous and may try to bolt when frightened, my new family will need to be extra careful about keeping me secure. A fenced yard is strongly encouraged and would give me a safe place to build confidence and explore. I’m looking for a patient family who understands that I may need a little time to feel safe. A secure home, plenty of toys, and ideally a doggy sibling to show me the ropes would be just about perfect. Give me a little patience and love, and I’ll show you just how sweet, silly and special I can be. ❤️

Story
Dozer may be a little guy for a Rottweiler at just 60 pounds, but his heart is absolutely enormous. At 4 years old, he's the definition of a gentle giant in a compact package. Calm, affectionate, and incredibly easygoing, Dozer has never met a stranger and wins over everyone he meets with his sweet personality. Dozer gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and even chickens. He's house trained, crate trained, loves going for walks, enjoys playing with other dogs, and is always up for a toy. His favorite hobby? Quietly stealing your shoes and carrying them around like prized possessions. He would absolutely love a home with another dog his size to romp, wrestle, and play with. Dozer is a special needs dog. We believe he has Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (NAD), a rare inherited neurological condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. At this time, his only symptom is an adorable, clumsy "drunken sailor" walk that doesn't slow him down one bit. Because NAD is progressive and has no cure, Dozer is looking for a family that understands special needs dogs and is committed to loving him through whatever the future may hold. Right now, he's happy, playful, and enjoying every day to the fullest. If you're looking for a calm, loving companion with a heart of gold and don't mind the occasional missing shoe, Dozer just might be your perfect match. Dozer's adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, age appropriate vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip.
