Story
This beautiful girl is named Brandy. I am currently fostering her after a friend has fallen on hard times and can no longer care for her. I would keep her but I cannot financially care for two dogs and I also live in a small studio. She does need training on the leash and other commands. However, she is already potty trained and has had no issue in the home. Brandy is about a year old and still has a lot of energy but her goofy personality is the highlight of my day. I am looking for someone who can give her the life she deserves. She is not spayed yet but I have her appointment set for March 18th. The pet fee is to cover the cost of the spay.

Story
Zeus is very smart and playful, he loves toys and learns routines quickly. Zeus loves to play chase and tug anytime. He is learning his manners well, but he still barks and gets excited easily so he may do best somewhere he has a little space to play on his own. He is very friendly with other people, he wants to play and will go get his toys and attempt to engage you in tug of war. He likes to chase balls but is still learning “drop”. If you have a couple toys to alternate with, he will fetch. He loves belly rubs. Zeus loves his treats but is pretty mellow about mealtimes. He will take food from your hand gently. We give him food 3 times a day and he often eats it slowly throughout the day, he doesn’t gobble food or overeat. When we need to give him pills he will eat a spoon of peanut butter with meds with no problem. Zeus crates well; he will go in there easily if you point inside and often takes naps in there on his own. His foster parents are home a lot so he is a little spoiled with attention, but he is used to being in his crate alone for a few hours at a time. He is both affectionate and sometimes self-sufficient. He likes to be with you or cuddle, and he also seems comfortable napping in the ‘other’ room. We have not tested Zeus with cats but he has a strong chase/hunt instinct and always goes after birds or squirrels. Zeus is sweet but he does get excited and can jump or be a rough player. He is learning not to jump up so much, but he does seem to like standing up on his hind legs. He is also pretty vocal when he is playing

Story
Cliff is a sturdy, stoic guy with a smooshed, lovable face reminiscent of a Shar-Pei—with a gentle heart underneath. He came to us ready for a calm, patient family who understands dogs with a bit of aloof charm.Cliff is friendly with both people and other dogs, though he appreciates slower introductions and a steady hand. He enjoys treats and sniffing out new scents, but toys aren’t really his thing. He’s independent, exploring his surroundings at his own pace, but also shows moments of affection when he’s ready, leaning in gently for pets. This moderate-energy guy will thrive with breed-experienced owners who can provide consistent management, training, and enrichment. He may get warm or pant heavily during exercise, so monitoring his activity—especially in hot weather—is important. Cliff is looking for a home where he can enjoy safe, calm interactions, thoughtful introductions to new people and dogs, and daily enrichment to keep his curious mind happy. For the right family, he’s a loyal, low-key companion with a unique personality and a heart full of quiet affection.

American Pit Bull Terrier

Fairfield, CA
Size

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Carmina is an 8-month-old gray pittie puppy who is ready to find her forever home! She came to us as a stray, and unfortunately, no one came looking for her; but she hasn’t let that stop her from being a happy, loving pup. This friendly girl is often right at the front of her kennel, eager to say hello and soak up attention. Carmina has a playful spirit and would love a home where she can run, play, and maybe even have a canine buddy to keep her company.Like most puppies her age, Carmina is still learning her manners and will need a family committed to training and helping her grow into a well-behaved companion. She is tolerant of handling and easy to work with, making her a great candidate for positive reinforcement training. She’s also still learning how to walk on leash, so she’ll benefit from patience and consistency as she builds confidence.Carmina is full of potential, love, and puppy energy, she just needs someone willing to guide her along the way. If you’re ready for a fun, affectionate companion and the rewarding journey of raising a young pup, Carmina might be your perfect match.
