Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He is a sweet playful pup that has done great with small and large dogs. He is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He loves toys and sticks to chew on. Story

Gypsy was a stray. A man in Raymond, Mississippi found her and took her to the pound. They were going to euthanize her, and he took her home. She did not like his cats, so he surrendered her to us. She LOVES to run and play, and she needs a lot of exercise. She does good with most all dogs, but she is shy when she meets new people. Gypsy does not like cats! Once she warms up to people, she just wants to give kisses! Her ideal home would be a person or family that has a large yard for her to run and play in. She would be the best dog to do activities with or just cuddle with on the couch. She should be fine in a large, fenced yard. She can be hyper at times but settles down nicely inside with a chew toy. This little guy is about 40 lbs of playful and fun energy. He’s sweet and good with people and other dogs. He’s about 2.5 years old and is a mixed breed but a really cool Mixed breed. I mean look at his cute ears. He’s adorable. He’s already crate trained and house trained. NO CATS. He is not fond of cats. Probably won’t do well with smaller rodent type animals either. He will scream SQUIRREL! And the rest is history. Haha. He would do well with children over the age of 10 bc he’s very playful and may knock smaller children down during playtime. This sweetheart was found wondering on the side of a road and we aren't sure why! She is an amazing dog!! She gets along with all dogs and loves playing with puppies. She is housetrained with a doggy door and does well on a leash. She learns commands fairly quickly and is just wonderful!! She is our meet and greet dog who is just a happy baby. She does get attached to “her person” and will follow them everywhere but we feel it's because she was dumped. we aren't sure if she's been around cats but can learn those rules. She has the Boxer play, long legs and sounds like she's gonna kill something, but it's all bluster. She has another Boxer she loves to play with and they go rounds together. She likes kids and isn't too shy of strangers. She's just a great, great dog and we want her to find her perfect family. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Kylo Bruce is a good-looking Pit Bull Terrier mix born in December 2019. His owner can no longer care for him, so he is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. Bruce is a very friendly, medium-energy dog. He struggles with being around larger/male dogs. He loves to sleep, cuddle, and eat. He knows basic commands (come, sit, down, wait, speak, high-five/paw and stay). He responds well to things he needs/wants (very vocal and polite). He is house-trained and does ok with the crate but the crate was not seen as positive in his last home. With some love and attention, Bruce will become a great companion.

Meet 1 1/2 year old Horace! Horace was rescued from a mennonite farm when the owners no longer wanted him. He lived on a farm and slept in a barn. He had a bad ear infection, scabby painful ears from horse flies and sadly tested positive for lyme. He was on antibiotics for a month, and his protein in his urine is perfect. He will test positive for the rest of his life, but shows no illness from the disease. Horace is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He is VERY dog friendly and lives with three other dogs currently. He loves to play ball. Horace would do best in a home with another dog. He came out of his shell quickly in his foster home due to the other dogs in the home. He loves playing catch and wrestling with his favorite girl dog Zoe. He loves children but might knock them over accidentally. He weighs 75 lbs, but looking at him you might think he weighs close to 100. He has very long back legs. His foster mom calls him her little horse. Horace is still learning about personal space. He has no issues laying on top of you for love and passing out. He does not have a mean bone in his body. He would do best with a family that has another dog and a large 6 ft fenced in yard. He knows how to climb a chain link fence. He would be a great running partner! We rescued Dale from a kill shelter in Georgia with intentions to rehome. He is heartworm positive and we have already begun treatment. Treatment should last no longer than 3 months. Unfortunately, our dog at home does not like Dale and is causing tension in the home which is not an okay space for Dale to heal in. Dale is extremely lovable. He loves cuddling, being pet, scratched and hugged. He wiggles and wags his tail in excitement at everyone. He is scared of steps and loud noises. He does not bark AT ALL. He is extremely quiet and potty trained. I am looking for a home that can take Dale in that can help him through recovery and give him all the love that he deserves. I think a home with low activity and without other animals is probably best for Dale at this time. Happy to provide more information and answer any questions.

Rufus is very sweet and loves to be outside. When we first rescued him from the acct philly he was estimated age 4-5 yrs and extremely energetic and did not trust us to touch him. He would nip at us if we reached out to touch him. We have had him for 5 years + and he has really come a long way. He loves ear scratches and belly rubs. He loves going for walks but if you take him running he will sit down after about five minutes. His favorite toys are soft but beware if your children leave stuffed animals lying around he will claim them. He has a loud bark but he is a big scaredy-cat! Rufus is crate trained. We found now that my husband is back at work Rufus spends all day alone and becomes anxious and pee/poops even in his crate. He does not like to be alone and will follow us around the house. He sleeps in our room and is a loud snorer. He loves sleeping in. Rufus is a good dog but he deserves a home where he gets lots of attention and walks which is why we want to re home him.

Venza is a sweet girl that I recently got from the shelter. She is so loving and treat motivated. She loves naps, but also has a lot of energy to play. I haven't taken her around any other pets yet, but she loves to great the dog that lives behind a fence up the block. She potty trained and knows the sit command. She will love anyone who has the patience to allow her to adjust. I'm only rehoming her because I got a severe sinus infection a week after I got her, after testing its been established that I have become severely allergic to dogs
