Story
These two pals, Garfield and Cloude, share a special bond forged on the streets. After being rescued they have have adapted wonderfully to being completely indoor cats. They're a dynamic duo seeking a forever home together, best suited as the sole pets in a loving household. Garfield's outgoing nature complements Cloude's gentle demeanor, creating a harmonious bond. Cloude is a gentle lynx-point Siamese with a slight cross-eye. He is more reserved and sensitive to new environments and noises. But with the companionship of his bestie Garfield and kind human interaction he warms up quickly. He adores belly rubs and kneads the air with contentment. Garfield is a charismatic orange tabby bursting with personality. He craves attention and affection, often leaping up for pets. Garfield's a desk companion for remote workers, preferring to be by your side. He's dominant and might clash with other cats, except for his bestie Cloude. Think these two could be perfect for you? Come meet them! Apply for adoption: https://www.calismisfits.com/adopt

Story
Larry, Harry, Perry, Jerry, Gary and Karrie arrived as sick kittens with giardia and respiratory infections.   Giardia was treated and they have all tested negative multiple times. The respiratory viruses, which most cats have been exposed to, continues to cause some of them to get sick from time to time, sometimes requiring eye medication. Our vet also mentioned cats in a shelter environment are constantly exposed and constantly stressed - that causes respiratory infection flare ups. Once these cats are adopted into homes usually the symptoms go away, although occasional flare-ups may still occur. Gary looks most like Larry – almost all white – but with orange around his nose and lighter blue eyes. Gary is the shyest one of the group. Larry is the smallest of the group. He is almost entirely white with steel blue-gray eyes, with one exception: his light orange striped tail. Harry is one cool black cat, complete with black button nose and green eyes. Harry can also be a little shy but warms up quickly and likes attention. Perry is all mackerel tabby. He has strong black and tan markings and a very discernable “M” on his forehead. Perry is sweet and likes attention but can be a bit shy at first. Jerry, an orange and white tabby. Friendly and very playful, Jerry craves human attention and interaction. He has golden eyes and a pink button nose. Please submit an application to adopt one of the cats at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet the selected cat (or cats!) and get to know him (or them!) a bit. Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on adoption policies visit our cat adoption page at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.

Story
Meet Eleanor! We’re looking for a special adopter who’s willing to put more work into this beautiful girl. She’s coming out of her shell nicely and can use continuous confidence building. She loves to be brushed and to get gentle petting. She can be picked up and held. She’s sweet and gets along well with other kitties. She’s curious and playful. We couldn’t leave her behind when we rescued her sick kitten. She’s making great progress since rescued and would love to see her in a wonderful home where she feels safe and loved. Eleanor is being adopted through the San Gabriel Valley Animal Advocates. If you are interested in adopting Eleanor, please submit an adoption application at http://www.sgvaa.org and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Your adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all their health and medical needs. Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes. We can arrange meet-and-greets with our foster families, at our live-in habitats in the West Covina and El Monte Petcos, as well as at the Huntington Beach (Edinger) PetSmart. SGVAA is an all-volunteer, non-profit rescue organization serving the San Gabriel Valley area. For more information on how you can help your community, please visit: www.sgvaa.org Their Adoption Process If you are interested in any of our adoptable pets or have additional questions, please fill out an adoption application and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Since we are an all-volunteer organization, it may take us within 24-48 hours to respond. Our little fur babies are so adorable that sometimes we get multiple applications for one pet! So if the pet you are interested in is no longer available there is no need to worry! We have plenty of friends who are furry! As part of the adoption process, we screen each new potential owner, and do home visits to ensure that an animal and owner are a good match. Once your adoption application has been approved, we will have you fill out a Pet Promise Certificate (adoption contract) *SGVAA’s adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all of their health and welfare needs (spay, neuter, shots, deworming, flea meds, microchip) *We also provide free home delivery of your new kitty/kitties! About This Rescue SGVAA is dedicated to the protection and humane treatment of pets in the San Gabriel Valley area. We encourage people to rescue a homeless animal instead of buying one. Our organization also educates the community on the importance of early vaccinations for fatal and easily preventable diseases. We also advocate spaying or neutering to reduce pet overpopulation. Once an animal is in our care we vaccinate all rescues against disease & provide needed health care, fight pet overpopulation by spaying or neutering all rescues, and provide lifetime shelter and care to any rescued animal that is not adopted. Come Meet Their Pets Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes. For interested adopters, we can arrange meet-and-greets with our foster families, at our live-in habitats in the West Covina and El Monte Petcos, as well as at the Huntington Beach (Edinger) Petsmart. Story
Kiki is a loving cat. She loves human around her. She is playing well with the cats and also dogs. (I have a small size dog. They always play together and kissing each other) The reason I am looking for a new owner is because I am traveling/working a lot. Having two pets are difficult for me to keep them happy together. Hoping she could find the right home for rest of her life. She is about 9-10 month old. She got all the shots from Petco, her rabies was in January 2024.
