Story
May and her roommates (Raj, Nara, and Kip) were rescued from an apartment complex by a neighbor after their owner passed away. They had been thrown outside by the building landlord, and were quite nervous when they came in. May is still adjusting. She is a very scared cat, which manifests in defensive behaviors. She is coming around slowly, and very clearly wants to engage with people, but she is often bullied by Raj when she tries to get close to people and reverts back to hiding. She has the potential to be an excellent cat, but she will require an adopter willing to work with her. She will need to go to a household without dogs or small children, and would do best with either another friendly cat or by herself. If you are interested in meeting May, please text us at 213-840-0153 for a pre-adoption questionnaire. Once we receive your inquiry, we will do our best to text you back in a timely manner.

WE ONLY REPLY TO ADOPTION APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED THROUGH OUR WEBSITE, SAVEKITTENSLA.ORG BONDED PAIR Meet Gizmo (Siamese) and Skylar (gray and white tuxie)! If a high-energy kitten is what you're looking for, Gizmo is the one for you! He LOVES attention and to be involved in everything you're doing. He plays hard, sleeps hard, and eats like food is going out of style. He is a curious little explorer who always wants to see what is on the other side of a door, or in a drawer, or under a bed. Mostly, Gizmo is just a big ol' love bug. This handsome boy loves laps, purring, and being the center of attention. He loves to cuddle right up next to you in bed at night, once he's finished playing with his sister Skylar of course! Please note that based on his foster's experience with Gizmo, we believe that he may be deaf. Skylar is a sweet and shy little girl who has come a long way but still is a bit unsure about people. When she feels safe, she loves to play with her toys, jump and run, and have a good time. She doesn't hide when her foster mom is in the room with her, but is still a little unsure of petting, even though she does seem to enjoy it just a little bit now. She loses a bit of her fear when treats are involved but usually retreats a bit when the treats are gone. She is not aggressive in any way, just scared and still learning to trust. All this beautiful girl needs is a little time and patience to allow her true personality to emerge. If you're ready to become a paw parent to this sweet duo, please head to SaveKittensLA.org & send us an adoption application! We do very high volume spay/neuter, but we take an extremely personalized approach to all the babies we rescue. We NEVER adopt kitties who will be allowed to go outside or declawed & we require all our adopters understand a FOREVER home means 15+ years. Please note all applicants will be subject to a home check before an adoption is finalized.

Story
At 6 years old, our professional handsome boy Choccy is a handful. This good looking Siamese snow shoe mix is not going to be an easy cat and will not be the right fit in every home. Smart and sassy, he does not like everyone, especially other boy cats. But expect him to be a very loyal fella if you have won his heart. Behind those baby blues is a very sensitive cat who is incredibly food motivated, so if you are looking to win him over be prepared to provide structure to his feeding habits. He's not afraid to be rude and smacking with people, so he's not a good candidate for a home with children. He's looking for a human who can be dedicated to him and he promises the same in return. He is going to be a whole lot of work, but for the right person it will be very well worth it.

Story
Please be aware that this beautiful goofball is a special needs cat, as trauma experienced in her early kitten hood has left her mildly incontinent and a fractured spine . She's not going to be the right fit for every home, but she will make one incredible home very happy. Our gorgeous gal Yoshimi is more than just a pretty face! Silly and quirky her Siamese eyes are prone to being adorably crossed. A feisty lady she is not afraid to bite the hand that feeds her, but she's a good communicator so she will tell you before the chomps begin. She's not overly fond of every cat, but with the right easy going fun kitty she'd play up a storm. The fastest way to her heart is through food and play as she loves both of those things!

Story
Fanny is a precious soul. Fanny is a former street cat who got her second chance at indoor life after being struck by a car. Luckily, she survived, recovered completely, and showed her potential for adoption. She is incredibly gentle. She never bites, swats or scratches. I mean... how did she survive out there? She is careful, she is quiet. She is demure. When she does come to say hi to you, you will feel special, because you know she is really putting herself out there. Please take that waltz with her. Her timidness is mostly about "the world" and not so much about people. She will take a very long time to adjust to a new home, but she is worth it. Her past makes her very cautious about being on "turf" she isn't allowed. So, she will take a long time to make herself fully at home. If you give her a safe space to settle in and visit her where she feels comfortable, she will be happy. Food motivated and a couch potato, Fanny is a gem of a cat who needs a quiet and understanding home that’ll allow her to get her comfortable on her own timeline and terms. She won’t make it too difficult for you, but patience is required. She might do best with experienced pet parents that are looking for a lowkey love bug to shower with love and treats. Bonus, she loves other cats. If you have a calm buddy at home who misses having a friend around, Fanny might be that girl. Interested in meeting Fanny? Reach out to our team to find out how. She currently lives in a foster home with her other foster kitties.
