Story
DOB 04/03/2021 Wilbur is funny, handsome, playful and lovable. He likes to play chase with his friends and can climb very well. Wilbur is a very special guy but nothing keeps him from having fun and enjoying life. Wilbur gets along with other kitty’s and likes having a playmate but he is also very good at cat naps and cuddles! Wilbur has a spinal abnormality that is congenital. There isn't anything to be done and as the specialist said "he's perfect just the way he is". Wilbur has always been healthy and full of energy. He taught himself how to walk and nothing slows him down! He will need some accommodations just to make things a little easier now and in the future but he has a heart of gold and is more than worth any extra he might need. Wilbur gets around very well, we provide cat trees to get up and down and he can manage a couple steps but would do best in a home that is level/one story. He is good with people although a little shy until he gets to know you. Accommodations - A few sturdy cat trees and litter box that is a little lower in the front, and a good healthy diet to keep him lean and at a good weight, but other than that he’s just a regular guy. Wilbur would love to be adopted into a home with another kitty close to his age so he will have a playmate and someone to keep him company when his humans are away. He also has a few friends that are available for adoption as well if your looking for a pair. Please find applications on our website. http://houseofbrokencookies.com/ Or Email us at: houseofbrokencookies@gmail.com Prior to adoption, all cats have the following services: *Spay or Neuter *3 in 1 Vaccination *De-wormed *Treated for fleas *Tested for FIV/FELV *Micro-Chipped

As part of the adoption process, we screen each new potential owner, and do home visits to ensure that an animal and owner are a good match. Once your adoption application has been approved, we will have you fill out a Pet Promise Certificate (adoption contract) *SGVAA’s adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all of their health and welfare needs (spay, neuter, shots, deworming, flea meds, microchip) *We also provide free home delivery of your new kitty/kitties! About This Rescue SGVAA is dedicated to the protection and humane treatment of pets in the San Gabriel Valley area. We encourage people to rescue a homeless animal instead of buying one. Our organization also educates the community on the importance of early vaccinations for fatal and easily preventable diseases. We also advocate spaying or neutering to reduce pet overpopulation. Once an animal is in our care we vaccinate all rescues against disease & provide needed health care, fight pet overpopulation by spaying or neutering all rescues, and provide lifetime shelter and care to any rescued animal that is not adopted. Come Meet Their Pets Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes. For interested adopters, we can arrange meet-and-greets with our foster families, at our live-in habitats in the West Covina and El Monte Petcos, as well as at the Huntington Beach (Edinger) Petsmart. Story
Larry, Harry, Perry, Jerry, Gary and Karrie arrived as sick kittens with giardia and respiratory infections. Giardia was treated and they have all tested negative multiple times. The respiratory viruses, which most cats have been exposed to, continues to cause some of them to get sick from time to time, sometimes requiring eye medication. Our vet also mentioned cats in a shelter environment are constantly exposed and constantly stressed - that causes respiratory infection flare ups. Once these cats are adopted into homes usually the symptoms go away, although occasional flare-ups may still occur. Gary is an orange and white mackerel tabby with the cutest little racoon-like tail and dreamy blue eyes. Gary is the shyest one of the group but he will warm up if someone takes the time. We also believe he may open up more if he doesn’t have four other more confident brothers hogging all the attention! If you manage to be able to pet Gary without his brothers stealing your attention, Gary is happy to get the scratches! He also likes to play especially with wand toys! Please submit an application to adopt one of the cats at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet the selected cat (or cats!) and get to know him (or them!) a bit. Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on our adoption policies visit our website at www.AALOC.org or contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.
