Story
DOB 04/03/2021 Wilbur is funny, handsome, playful and lovable. He likes to play chase with his friends and can climb very well. Wilbur is a very special guy but nothing keeps him from having fun and enjoying life. Wilbur gets along with other kitty’s and likes having a playmate but he is also very good at cat naps and cuddles! Wilbur has a spinal abnormality that is congenital. There isn't anything to be done and as the specialist said "he's perfect just the way he is". Wilbur has always been healthy and full of energy. He taught himself how to walk and nothing slows him down! He will need some accommodations just to make things a little easier now and in the future but he has a heart of gold and is more than worth any extra he might need. Wilbur gets around very well, we provide cat trees to get up and down and he can manage a couple steps but would do best in a home that is level/one story. He is good with people although a little shy until he gets to know you. Accommodations - A few sturdy cat trees and litter box that is a little lower in the front, and a good healthy diet to keep him lean and at a good weight, but other than that he’s just a regular guy. Wilbur would love to be adopted into a home with another kitty close to his age so he will have a playmate and someone to keep him company when his humans are away. He also has a few friends that are available for adoption as well if your looking for a pair. Please find applications on our website. http://houseofbrokencookies.com/ Or Email us at: houseofbrokencookies@gmail.com Prior to adoption, all cats have the following services: *Spay or Neuter *3 in 1 Vaccination *De-wormed *Treated for fleas *Tested for FIV/FELV *Micro-Chipped

Story
Frankie found himself abandoned and trying to survive in a bad neighborhood. Cars speed through the area and there is a lot of crime. Frankie is now the greeter at our clinic as he likes to hang out in the parking lot during the day and comes in at night. He is a great mouse-catcher and would do really well in a home with a safe yard so he can continue to go in and out as he wishes. He has been fully vetted, neutered & microchipped. He is a beautiful, sweet guy that deserves a safer environment than our spay neuter clinic. Apply to adopt Frankie at: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SATG-A-871

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. DOB 7/2014 TC is a tortie point Siamese mix. She was left behind in a shopping center parking lot, in a cage.  We don't know if she's weird because this happened to her, or vice-versa. She's a very, VERY strange cat. She likes to be petted - on her terms. She will shriek at times, or roll over for tummy rubs - or both. She likes to help with working from home, and our current state of social distancing is currently very pleasing to TC. She will hang out with you, charging full speed at your lap, and then will LEAP into the air, and land with a big heavy thud, and settle in for some reading or working or TV time. She likes to be petted, and when she's had enough she will emit a chilling halloween kitty shriek that will keep your neighbors away. Which is good; social distancing, remember? Because of her eccentric nature, TC definitely needs an experienced cat parent. She is tolerant of dogs, maybe even likes them a little bit. She would be totally indifferent to other cats (I would say she needs to be an only cat, but she does need someone to keep her attitude in check and also to help her exercise by chasing her around the house).  If you are looking for a buddy to keep you home and on the couch, TC is your girl!   **** PLEASE NOTE THAT TC IS NOT A GOOD STARTER CAT****Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  Prior to adoption, all cats have the following services: Spay or Neuter 3 in 1 Vaccination De-wormed Treated for fleas Tested for FIV/FELV Micro-Chipped $175 for 1 or $300 for a pair  Upon adoption you will receive coupons from Petsmart for various items to help get you started with your new cat.  All adoptions require an application, contract and adoption fee.    Link to our online adoption application. http://www.thecatcove.com/adoption-application.html Meet and Greets and Adoptions will take place at one of our Long Beach Petsmart adoption centers by appointment only while we are Social Distancing. Appointments can not be made until we have a completed adoption application   We are a non profit 501(c)3 all volunteer no kill rescue.   All donations go directly to the cats medical bills, food, litter, toys and any other needs they have. All volunteers are non-paid; every penny goes directly to the cats.   For questions please contact us at catcoverescue@gmail.com or visit our website at http://thecatcove.com   A phone number is not listed for our organization because all adoption transactions are taken care via email until we receive a completed adoption application.    October 28, 2024, 4:04 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Freeway is a little over two years old.  He’s a Big boy that was Found on the 710 freeway, with a broken tail. Super fun, playful, snack master. Loves toys and playing hard with Fransisco. Because of his tail he has a hard time with hard scratches in his back or being picked up. He can be a little jumpy with loud noises and heavy steps. Fransisco is a Lynx Point. Polydactyl. Born March 2023. Found in an alley at 4 months old.  He’s Mischievous, a wiggle worm who really loves pets when he is sleeping otherwise he is on the go. Constantly playing with one of two toys. A pink spring toy or a blue spring toy. He too loves wand toys specifically if they have feathers   He’s super goofy and full of love.  Both Freeway and Fransisco are super Curious and completely entertained by each other, although sometimes Freeway just wants to chill while the wild child is going richter in zoomie mode.  These boys need to be adopted together. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
