Sometimes he’s an a little Angel abut most times he’s a little demon. Hi, my name is Anthony. I have had my special needs cat Oro for 6 years and I can no longer take care of him. He’s been abusing my other cats for far too long and ive kept him because I love him but his behavior suggests he needs more than just me now. I’m hoping someone can help me move him from my house into another safe space for him. I fear that he might get put down but I swear I have proof that he deserves to live a happy life. “Oro” means gold in Spanish. He’s my little golden boy and I need him to be happy wherever he goes. I just can’t take care of him anymore. Honestly for many reasons but mostly his skittish personality and his fear of being petted. He’s hard and rough around the edges but he’s a good boy. He just needs someone to believe in him. I don’t want money, I know Siamese cats can go for a pretty penny but instead I just want to know he’s safe and taken care of.

Meet Edelweiss, affectionately known as Edie, the sassy yet regal queen of our Sanctuary. With her dilute calico point Siamese coat and crystal blue eyes, she's a supermodel of a cat, exuding elegance and grace. When she's around too many feline companions, she can get overstimulated, but with people, she's an absolute sweetheart. She's cuddly, enjoys being held, and will make you feel like you're the center of her universe. This bougie beauty has also been through a lot. Edie is an FIP survivor. FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) is a serious virus that requires a lot of effort to treat. But thanks to the tireless care she received at Kitten Rescue, Edie kicked FIP to the curb and is ready to take on a new kingdom. She does have food allergies and requires a specialized diet, and she's currently undergoing immunotherapy to help with allergy-related skin issues. That hardly interrupts her ability to rule her world - or to rule yours. Edie will thrive as a single cat, and she prefers a calm environment without small children or other animals. She has been with us for several years, patiently waiting for her forever home where she can reign supreme and receive all the love and attention she deserves. She does well in a home with other cats but can sometimes get over-stimulated, however once properly acclimated that will calm down. She would do well as the only cat in the home with someone who does not work away full-time as she needs a lot of attention. She has a big personality and makes what she does and doesn't want known. She would do well with a cat-savvy person. The longer Abby is in your home, the more comfortable she will be and will become your sweet companion! Abby was abandoned outside a known cat rescuer's door, and while we don't know her history, it is clear they cared about her and wanted to be sure she was safe.
