He is social and quite talkative, even with people he doesn't know. He will greet you with meows and approach for pets. He is outgoing and is looking for his furrrever home. Oscar was rescued from Marathon & Melrose in Silver Lake when he was spotted with a bleeding ear. Luxe Paws stepped up and did what no one else would. He was taken in and given care and love, something he seems to have needed as he is so sweet and friendly. Getting to know him, the Luxe Paw's team knew they couldn`t put this loving little dude back out on the streets. He has a permanent accessory with his crinkle ear (which is honestly adorable on him now that he is healthy and not in pain). He is navigating the indoor life beautifully and while he hasn't quite figured out cuddling yet, he loves to sleep on the bed with his foster. Oscar is high energy and needs a sibling to match his zoomies or he would do well as a solo cat with humans who engage in play with him. He loves to climb, survey his land from the cat tree, and watch the birds. When he isn`t planning to take over the world, he loves a good snooze and being cozy in his cat bed. At 6 years old, our professional handsome boy Choccy is a handful. This good looking Siamese snow shoe mix is not going to be an easy cat and will not be the right fit in every home. Smart and sassy, he does not like everyone, especially other boy cats. But expect him to be a very loyal fella if you have won his heart. Behind those baby blues is a very sensitive cat who is incredibly food motivated, so if you are looking to win him over be prepared to provide structure to his feeding habits. He's not afraid to be rude and smacking with people, so he's not a good candidate for a home with children. He's looking for a human who can be dedicated to him and he promises the same in return. She's not going to be the right fit for every home, but she will make one incredible home very happy. Our gorgeous gal Yoshimi is more than just a pretty face! Silly and quirky her Siamese eyes are prone to being adorably crossed. A feisty lady she is not afraid to bite the hand that feeds her, but she's a good communicator so she will tell you before the chomps begin. At just 8 weeks of age, Opal fractured both of her hind legs. Fortunately, she went into foster care shortly after, and was put on pain meds, and recovered well. We don’t know how Opal was injured, but she has a fighting spirit and persevered through it. Even though she had two broken legs, she managed to walk on both, albeit with a limp. Opal has seen multiple specialists and all have said that her fractures healed well and she wouldn’t need surgery. However, she still limps on her hind left leg, but it doesn’t seem to bother her. She still runs, jumps, climbs and plays like a normal kitten. One of the specialists that examined Opal said that it’s possible the limp will improve as she gets older, but it could also worsen. He said that if the limp declines and the hind left leg becomes atrophied, then she will need that leg amputated later in life. If this happens, Baby Kitten Rescue will pay for the amputation, but it must be done with one of our vets in Los Angeles. Opal’s potential adopter must live within 2 hours of Los Angeles and be willing to take Opal to her amputation surgery if that is needed. Opal is a sweet, affectionate, playful, cuddly and smart kitten. Opal is so smart that she knows her own name and comes when called. When Opal wants snuggles, she will run up to you, trill, jump in your lap and start purring. Opal is a purring machine. Opal is very social with other cats and needs to be in a home with another playful kitten or cat. Because Opal had a rough start to life, she doesn’t like loud sounds, so a quiet home is preferred. Opal will make an amazing companion animal and will be your best friend for many years to come!

With her dilute calico point Siamese coat and crystal blue eyes, she's a supermodel of a cat, exuding elegance and grace. When she's around too many feline companions, she can get overstimulated, but with people, she's an absolute sweetheart. She's cuddly, enjoys being held, and will make you feel like you're the center of her universe. This bougie beauty has also been through a lot. Edie is an FIP survivor. FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) is a serious virus that requires a lot of effort to treat. But thanks to the tireless care she received at Kitten Rescue, Edie kicked FIP to the curb and is ready to take on a new kingdom. She does have food allergies and requires a specialized diet, and she's currently undergoing immunotherapy to help with allergy-related skin issues. That hardly interrupts her ability to rule her world - or to rule yours. Edie will thrive as a single cat, and she prefers a calm environment without small children or other animals. She has been with us for several years, patiently waiting for her forever home where she can reign supreme and receive all the love and attention she deserves.
