Story
Hi! My name is Shiro and I am a handsome boy! I was adopted from OCARC as a tiny kitten about 4 years ago, but my owner recently became ill and unable to continue caring for me. My life was very quiet with just my adopter and I. I am used to a quiet home and I am content to sit with you after a bit of brushing, petting, or playing. Playtime is also fun with mouse on a wire and feather toys! Sitting by a window to watch the birds and critters outside is a treat. I didn't have any furry friends to run around with in my previous home, so I was used to being a solo kitty. I'm a big boy now with large paws to accommodate my 7 front toes and 5 back toes. My foster mom said that makes me a polydactyl, adding to my handsome and unique look! Since I enjoy lots of quiet time, but also enjoy human companionship, I would prefer to share my castle with 1 or 2 grown humans (no little ones) and most likely no other fur friends. Thank you for reading about me! Please come see him and the other cats that are available at the PetSmart store in The District Shopping Center in Tustin (2237 Park Avenue). Adoptions are by Appointment and on Saturdays from 1-3pm. You can get pre-approved for your adoption! Just visit our website and submit your application online: http://www.oc-arc.com/adoptions/how-to-adopt/ When you choose to adopt one of OCARC's animals, the adoption donation is $175. Each of our cats and kittens has been: - Spayed or neutered - Microchipped - Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) - Tested for FIV (Feline Aids) - De-flead (topical Revolution or Advantage) - De-wormed (tape and round worms) - Given their first FVRCP vaccination: We keep all our kitties current on their FVRCP vaccines so depending on the age of the kitty when you adopt him or her and how long we've had the kitty, the vaccine series may be complete. If not, you as the adopter will be responsible for any further vaccinations in the series. - Rabies Vaccination when age appropriate These services would usually cost more than $500. Of course, an adoption donation of more than $175 is always welcome, since we often provide additional medical care such as x-rays, blood panels, treatment for ears, eyes, upper respiratory infections and viruses.

Story
We found Kitty on a busy street all by herself when she was tiny, we took her to the vet as she was so tiny and covered in fleas. She was determined to be 4-5 weeks old and in good health. We decided to keep her although a few family members have allergies to cats. After almost 2 years we can just no longer keep her. She’s been well taken care of and gets along well with our dog. She’s beautiful and energetic and provides entertainment but due to allergies we cannot give her the affection she deserves. Please consider adding her to your home!!

Story
Outgoing, Likes to be carried like a baby, super affectionate.Francesca was named after the character in the book and movie “Under the Tuscan Sun” about a woman that embarked on her own journey and bought a Villa in Italy. Francesca loves the pleasure of food similar to the character that entertains and cooks in her Villa. Her backside has a racing stripe down her back that looks like a chipmunk’s markings. She loves being snuggled and sleep in bed and is an all-around easy cat to live with. But she is “all” Siamese! Very vocal, and she has a loving but dominant almost bossy personality. Her personality includes having strong prey instincts watching the birds from the window. So a home without other small pets like birds or hamsters would be best. She lives with other cats but she has to be boss and she can begin to play rough and therefore we believe she is best with being the only cat, unless with a very cat savvy owner them we could discuss it.    July 24, 2024, 12:11 am

Story
Todd, the beautiful 5 year old white Apple-head Siamese kitty, is looking for a forever home!! Todd loves attention and having his head scratched. He meows loudly for attention and absolutely loves being noticed! He has a wonderful fun personality and a playful unique meow that you can’t help but love. Todd was abandoned at a near-by condo complex. With the help of Community Animal Network, a very kind lady was able to safely and humanely trap Todd. He is now neutered and and up to date on all of his shots. The lady who helped Todd will be moving soon, and can't keep him. Todd needs an experienced and loving owner who will love him forever. Can you help??   For more info, call or text DiAnna at 949-759-3646 or email at DiAnna@networkfounder.org. Todd is being cared for by Community Animal Network, a non-profit organization founded by DiAnna Pfaff-Martin in 1996. C.A.N is a veterinary medical rescue that takes in stray cats and abandoned animals and helps rehabilitate them for life in forever homes. To donate to help cats like Todd, use our PayPal link: www.PayPal.Me/CommunityAnimal Or Mail checks to: Community Animal Network P.O. Box 8662 Newport Beach, CA 92658 The founder of Community Animal Network, DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, is very particular about the quality of the animals, vitamins, proper diet and veterinary medical care. Feral kittens are tamed to "pet quality" and rescue cats that are shy are disclosed and termed, "rescue quality" with a lower placement fee. With all adoptions DiAnna Pfaff-Martin gives valuable information about cat care in a one hour "feline pet-parenting consultation" to adopters. The most current information is made available about how to keep your cat healthy, pet foods, litters and how to make your cat be affectionate. The AVID microchip registration is included in the placement fee and the animals come with a 30 day heath commitment and return policy.     July 24, 2024, 12:11 am
