Story
Hi there, I am looking for a job! I'm used to being an outdoor cat and I'm very good at rodent control and bug catching! I prefer not to interact with strangers initially, but lucky for me HSSV has a Garden Cat Adoption Program and is looking to find me a home or barn where we can live outside and be admired from afar. Once I'm comfortable in your yard or barn, we'll eventually make friends but it'll take some time for me to trust you. Click here to learn more about our garden cats! Story
We were feeding a new colony of community cats that we had inherited, most of them living under a dilapidated building, when we saw these two little faces peeking out. Knowing that this was not a good place for little kittens to grow up, we caught them (it took some doing!), and brought them home. In the weeks that followed these two young boys, Piper and Hart, have gradually changed from scared little wild things into two sweet cuddly silly bugs. They are a joy to be around! They love to cuddle with us (Hart especially), and each other. Piper is still on the shy side, but in the moments when he musters up the courage to snuggle with one of us it makes our day. Forget Netflix and HBO - watching these two little boys play for hours on end is the best entertainment you could hope for. We are neutered, tested Negative for fiv/fiv. Vaccinated and Micro chipped. Birthday approx 6/21. They are a bonded pair and need to go together. Hart is the Siamese mix Male DSh B Date 6/21 Piper is the Orange Tabby/White Male DSH B Date 6/21

He is a mellow, easy going guy who just wants to lay around and sleep all day. Let him warm up and once he gets to know you he will solicit attention from you. Kumo loves treats and pets. He has been an indoor/outdoor cat because he is currently living at a business where he can only be inside during the day.  But since he loves to hang out as he is so friendly with people and other cats, he will be a fine indoor only cat, as he isn't asking to be out!  Contact cell: 408-410-0420 (sun-tues), 408 794-7231 (wed-sat) - business numbersVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 26, 2024, 10:14 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Companion ExtraordinaireSay hello to Grape, the inquisitive and clever Siamese cat, always ready to charm you with his friendly and playful nature. He's always up for a play session with the occasional burst of zoomies. He is quite the chatterbox, expressing his thoughts with a meow or two. He's a master at climbing to the highest spots and sneaking into the tiniest corners of the room. Plus, he's litterbox-trained and has a hearty appetite. Grape has spent most of his time indoors, but he's itching to satisfy his curiosity and explore the outdoors. He would thrive well at a home with plenty of space to roam, maybe even a backyard for his adventures. He's a curious cat who enjoys both indoor and outdoor exploration. You'll often catch him lounging by a window, keeping tabs on the world outside.   Grape likes being the sole furball at home, but with a bit of patience, he has the potential to warm up to other cats and dogs for some furry companionship. He's got that perfect mix of friendliness and shyness, with a dash of independence thrown in. Sometimes, he'll cozy up for cuddles on his own terms. But when he's not in the mood for pets, he'll kindly let you know with gentle warnings. He's fine with a quick pick-up session, but he might start to get a bit fussy if it lasts too long. Given his playful nature, he'd thrive best in a home without young children.   Bonus quirks: he's one smart cat! He's mastered the art of sitting on command (when presented with treats, ha!), and he's also a bit of a sneaky expert when it comes to opening doors.   Coat: Short hair, grey and black fur Health: Fully vaccinated (NOBIVAC), no health issues (medical records available upon request) Weight: 11lbs Status: Neutered and microchipped   To meet Grape contact:  Email: chloetanchip@gmail.com Location: San Francisco, CA THIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.THIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal.See information about whom to contact in bio THANK YOU Introducing Midna, an elegant and relaxed little kitty who generally goes with the flow. Named after a fan-favorite character from Zelda, Twilight Princess, Midna loves to sit and watch you, cuddle up against you, or nap in your lap if you put her in it. Rescued at 2 months old from the feral life as December weather was impacting the litter's health, Midna has taken well to socialization and indoor life. She enjoys the company of siblings and adult cats equally, so might be the odd exceptional kitten that can be adopted without another kitten if you have an existing adult cat that will tolerate a youngster. Midna does have two siblings, who are a bonded pair. If you are interested in adopting 3 kittens, please consider Midna with her siblings TT and Pogchamp, also listed on 13th Street Cats!for more imfo- contact joanne at jssj96@gmail.com                Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 28, 2024, 2:18 pm

Story
Belmont is a 2 year old rescue cat that I have cared for since she was a kitten. I have another cat a few years older than her that she gets along with well. Belmont loves to play with string quite specifically and is also known to sleep much of the day away on her favorite cat tower or hiding spot. As Belmont is part-Siamese, she is an incredibly vocal kitty! I've worked with the vet on trying to minimize this behavior, but am becoming unsuccessful. She's had a bloodwork panel done and any health issues have been ruled out. She's previously been prescribed gabapentin and now fluoxetine in attempt to support her as she is somewhat anxious. Unfortunately due to financial constraints I had to move in with a roommate about 4 months ago. Due to this, Belmont's persistent meowing that only I was previously facing is now impacting my roommate as well. She is particularly vocal at night. I believe Belmont is in need of a loving home with a patient owner who can provide her a bit more space

Story
Willow is a delightful cat with a vibrant personality. She has a loud purr and loves to play.  Willow's friendly nature shines as soon as you meet she eagerly greets strangers, rubbing against their legs for attention and enjoying gentle head pets. While she values affection, Willow prefers to show her love by sitting near her person rather than being picked up or sitting directly on laps. Her playful side comes out whenever there are catnip mice around, she also loves to chase balls and any small toys. Her favorite toys include wine corks, a spring, and a crumpled-up post-it note! Anything she can bat around and chase. Willow also appreciates spending some of her time on the scratching post. She definitely loves and wants to be around humans, and she’ll follow you around and always rub up against your leg. A funny quirk about her is she’ll jump onto a table so you can see her and she can be closer to you!  Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated, and microchipped.  This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet her, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt March 27, 2024, 12:01 pm
