Mack is 11 years old, affectionate, calm, loves to chill with his people, and generally lounge around, though he can go bonkers playing with his favorite toys. He can be alone for several hours and is quiet throughout the night. Mack loves to be brushed, especially gentle strokes on his cheeks from front to back, and to watch birds and squirrels from a comfy spot.Mack is a very good cat who we believe would do best in a quiet, loving, stable home, ideally with no other cats (or possibly with another cat of similar size and temperament). He also needs a cat person who can read his body language and meet his needs, including a final meal at bedtime, which can be managed by reading his cues and veterinary-prescribed food for constipation (wet and/or dry). Although Mack lived with several cats before, he has not accepted our other cat who is not a good candidate for adoption, therefore Mack unfortunately needs to find a new home.Can you give him that loving home?

Miso is a handsome 9-year-old Siamese who loves nothing more than attention and cuddling with his favorite people. Whether he's snuggled up in bed or exploring a secure catio, Miso enjoys the simple things in life. He's good at communicating his boundaries with gentle cues like a swishing tail or a soft nudge, so he'll thrive with adopters who understand cat body language. Miso would do best in a home with children ages 5 and up. He has lived with a Chihuahua his whole life and may do well with a calm, respectful dog after a proper introduction. Sammy RESCUED SIAMESE CAT needs a home or foster home. Our rescuer trapped him yesterday to get him neutered thinking he was feral but it turns out he is very sweet and loves being pet. Our rescue group doesn't want to release him back on the streets since he was rescued from a San Jose neighborhood with lots of coyotes and speeding cars. We do not have a foster home for him. He is now fixed and vaccinated and defleaed. He belongs in a home. Thank you! Rescue a Kitty is a small cat rescue in South SJ. YIN & YANG — TWO LITTLE LIVES, ONE INCREDIBLE LOVE STORY Some kittens come into our lives and leave paw prints on our hearts forever. Yin is one of those kittens. Yin, a beautiful little Siamese girl, came to us from an overcrowded car yard when she was just a tiny baby. Her life had barely begun, yet she had already experienced more hardship than any kitten should. Not long after arriving, Yin began to decline. And then came the words we never wanted to hear. The veterinarian told us she likely would not make it through the night. Yin was skin and bones. She was so weak she could barely lift her head. She had suffered trauma to her private area that caused difficulty going to the bathroom, her skin was in terrible condition, and her tiny body seemed to be giving up. But Yin wasn't ready to die. So we fought for her. And more importantly, Yin fought for herself. She had to be tube-fed because she was too weak to eat on her own. She needed treatment for her skin. Her little body needed time to heal from the trauma she had endured. There were scary days, exhausting days, and days when we wondered if she had enough strength left. Somehow, that tiny girl kept telling us the same thing: I'm still here. Little by little, Yin began to heal. She started eating. She started gaining weight. Her body grew stronger. Her skin healed. Her injuries healed. And eventually, that painfully thin little kitten developed the cutest round belly. ❤️ But somewhere along Yin's journey, something else wonderful happened. She found Yang. Yang is a gorgeous, fluffy, all-black boy who was rescued from a neighboring lot. He had also started life outdoors, unsure of what his future would hold. We introduced these two rescued babies, and something simply clicked. Yin had found her best friend. Today, you would never recognize the kitten who once lay too weak to lift her head. Yin RUNS. She PLAYS. She loves people, chases toys, explores everything she can find and races around with Yang by her side. She is happy, healthy, chunky, mischievous and completely full of life. And Yang is right there with her. They play together. They chase each other. They find comfort in one another. After everything they experienced before coming to us, they have created their own little family. Yin and Yang are bonded, and they will be adopted together. There is something especially beautiful about their names. ☯️ Yin & Yang. A little Siamese girl and a fluffy black boy. Light and dark. Two completely different kittens who somehow became exactly what the other needed. Yin once stood at death's door. Today, she is standing at the door to the rest of her life with Yang beside her. Their past has already been written. Now they need someone special to write the next chapter. Meet Miracle Whip & Quinnie — A Bonded Pair Ready for Their Forever Home ❤️ Miracle Whip and Quinnie may look very different, but these two have grown up side by side and have formed a very special bond. Miracle Whip is a handsome Siamese boy with striking coloring, beautiful features, and the kind of face that immediately gets your attention. Beside him is his sister Quinnie, a gorgeous gray and white girl with short-to-medium-length fur, a tuxedo-style coat, and the sweetest little white tip on her nose. Their story began outside. Miracle Whip and Quinnie spent the first several weeks of their lives growing up in a backyard with their mom and siblings, Snapple and Clawdia. Thankfully, a kind person made sure the little family had food and was cared for while the kittens were still too young to leave their mother. At around 7 weeks old, the kittens were safely brought into rescue. Suddenly, everything they had ever known changed. Indoor life meant soft beds. Toys. Tunnels. Boxes. People. New sounds. New smells. And lots of new experiences. For kittens who spent their earliest weeks outdoors, there was a lot to learn. Through all of those changes, Miracle Whip and Quinnie have had each other. They play together, explore together, wrestle together, and help give each other confidence when something new feels a little unfamiliar. If one is checking something out, you can usually expect the other one to be close behind. Miracle Whip is friendly, playful, curious, and loves being around people. He enjoys chasing toys, exploring his surroundings, climbing, wrestling with Quinnie, and joining in whenever something fun is happening. He is learning quickly just how wonderful indoor life can be. Quinnie is equally sweet and playful. She may pause for a moment when something new catches her attention, but every day she becomes more confident, curious, and comfortable. She loves toys, tunnels, boxes, playing with Miracle Whip, and spending time with her people. They are currently being raised in a foster home with older kids, helping them become comfortable with the everyday sounds, movement, and activity of family life. Their story may have started outside, but Miracle Whip and Quinnie have already discovered something much better. A warm home. Soft places to sleep. People who love them. And each other. Mack loves to be brushed, especially gentle strokes on his cheeks from front to back, and to watch birds and squirrels from a comfy spot. Mack is a very good cat who we believe would do best in a quiet, loving, stable home, ideally with no other cats (or possibly with another cat of similar size and temperament). He also needs a cat person who can read his body language and meet his needs, including a final meal at bedtime, which are easily managed by reading his cues and veterinary-prescribed food for constipation (wet and/or dry). Mack is an indoor-only cat, uses his litter box perfectly, keeps himself very well groomed and benefits from frequent brushings, and loves to scratch his litter tracking mat (soft honeycomb style). He is current on his rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, and prefers not to have his paws touched so lots of treats help with nail trims.
