Story
I recently rescued a kitten in my San Jose neighborhood that I’ve named Wild Bill. He’s about 12 weeks old. When I first brought him in, he appeared to be feral, so following the shelter's advice, I had him TNR’d on June 4. However, I decided to keep him for a few days to see if he could be socialized—and within a week, he completely transformed. He’s now affectionate, playful, and great with other cats. He’s also been vet-checked, vaccinated, and is in excellent health. He would make a great additional to any family.

Story
Watson and Willow are 14-month-old Siamese siblings with striking looks and gentle hearts. Though a bit shy at first, these bonded beauties quickly warm up with a little patience—and maybe a feather wand or a laser pointer to break the ice! Watson, the curious brother, loves to observe everything from a cozy perch, while Willow tends to follow his lead, seeking comfort and affection once she feels safe. They’re affectionate companions who enjoy quiet company and playtime in equal measure. Both cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and get along well with other cats. Watson and Willow are looking for a calm, loving home where they can continue to blossom together. If you’re looking for a pair of soft-spoken sweethearts who thrive in each other’s company, Watson and Willow might be the perfect match. Watson and Willow are being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet these cats or find out more, please fill out our application here: https://www.thedancingcat.org/adopt-courtesy For more information regarding our Courtesy Posts, see www.thedancingcat.org/courtesy-postsJuly 7, 2025, 8:56 pm

Story
Jenkins' love language is play… play… and more play! This spirited guy is all about fun, and he’ll chase a wand toy for as long as you’ll let him. Jenkins has energy to burn and thrives with daily playtime. He’s the kind of cat who turns a living room into a playground and makes you laugh while doing it. Outside of his playful streak, Jenkins is an easygoing companion who settles into new spaces quickly. He enjoys being pet and having people nearby, though he’s not overly demanding about attention. While he wasn’t a lap cat in foster care, that could change once he feels fully at home. Jenkins would be a great match for someone who works from home or spends a lot of time around the house and is looking for a playful friend. If you’re ready for a buddy who brings a lot of energy to your life, Jenkins might just be your perfect match.  Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is in a foster home. More information about this cat and all of our adoptable cats can be found at www.thedancingcat.org/cats. Story
Lord Yardley is a cat with a regal name and a heart to match. He is a gentle soul with a mellow demeanor, a bit shy and can be independent, but don't mistake his quietness for indifference. He has a sweet side that reveals itself with time and patience. He will sing for his supper, is a champion biscuiteer and will bring you his favorite stuffed pastry toys at night. Though he's not one to lounge on your lap, Lord Yardley will curl up at the foot of your bed, warming your toes with his presence. Lord Yardley is a cat who doesn't ask for much, but he has so much to give. He's a companion who will fill your home with a gentle, loving presence. If you're looking for a pet who's lovable, independent yet affectionate, then Lord Yardley is the one for you.   Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet the cat, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ready for Pre-Adoption!Chicken (Little) is a purrfect little lady. She is delicate and calm but confident and sassy enough to put Cow in his place if he gets too rough. She also has a playful streak and is very fast and precise when “hunting” her toys. She loves to chase balls and carry the toys in her mouth after she “catches” them. An excellent cuddler and all around sweet little gal.  Kittens are bundles of love! Their personalities develop over time so we can't tell you exactly if this kitten will become a lap cat, a social kitty, a kneader, etc. Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies and you will get to see first hand how their wonderful natures develop. Unless otherwise noted, all kittens are adopted out in pairs. 2 is always better than one! SVPP Kittens are fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed and FIV/FELV tested prior to adoption.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 8, 2025, 5:38 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**Alice must be adopted with her foster mate, Aspen** If you're interested in meeting these adorable kittens, please complete an online adoption application or reach out to us via email at  info@ibokrescue.org . All of our kittens are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, dewormed, deflead and microchipped prior to being delivered to their loving forever home. All of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs as it is our policy not to place kittens under six months of age in a forever home without another same aged kitten. We also do not place kittens older than six months into homes where there is currently not another young cat in residence. Most of our kittens are in "bonded pairs" or bonded with their littermates. We reserve the right not to separate bonded pairs or place kittens individually. The happiness and quality of life for our kittens is our top priority. =^..^=Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 27, 2025, 11:02 am
