Story
I am currently rehoming a male domestic medium hair flame point kitten for a fee of $200 (due to his breed and overall time that was put into care for him). He was originally a feral who is still learning to warm up to humans and other pets, but I can assure you he is extremely affectionate! Based on what I have observed about him during my ownership, he is timid usually around loud noises or sudden movement. But, if you give him some pats on the base of the tail or pet him, he will immediately start purring and be all over you. :) I strongly suggest that you are interested in this cat if you have a quiet to moderate noise level home preferably with no other pets. I have two female kittens of my own who he does love to play and cuddle with! He has not shown any signs of aggression and is sometimes okay with being picked up, but he will usually wiggle out of your hands. He has been neutered and received some vaccines, but still needs to continue to go to the vet for future ones!

Story
Meet Firefly — a bright spark of energy and charm! This confident, playful boy lives up to his name with his lively spirit and curiosity that lights up every room. Firefly loves to play, especially with his favorite ball toys. You’ll often catch him stalking, pouncing, and chasing them around like a tiny panther on a mission. He’s also a big fan of food puzzles, which keep his sharp mind and food motivation happily occupied! Firefly is social and easygoing with people and adapts quickly to new situations. He’s great with both cats and dogs — though he may swat a bit to establish boundaries, he never escalates and can comfortably share space, food, and naps with them. After a day full of fun, Firefly likes to curl up on the bed with his humans or lounge on a cat tree for a cozy snooze. He can be handled when needed, but prefers to make the first move in showing affection. Firefly would thrive in an active home that loves interactive playtime and has other furry friends to keep him company. If you’re looking for a clever, confident, and entertaining companion, Firefly will make every day feel a little more alive. Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped. This cat is in a foster home. To meet him, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt    December 7, 2025, 6:26 pm

Story
Jenkins' love language is play… play… and more play! This spirited guy is all about fun, and he’ll chase a wand toy for as long as you’ll let him. Jenkins has energy to burn and thrives with daily playtime. He’s the kind of cat who turns a living room into a playground and makes you laugh while doing it. Outside of his playful streak, Jenkins is an easygoing companion who settles into new spaces quickly. He enjoys being pet and having people nearby, though he’s not overly demanding about attention. While he wasn’t a lap cat in foster care, that could change once he feels fully at home. Jenkins would be a great match for someone who works from home or spends a lot of time around the house and is looking for a playful friend. If you’re ready for a buddy who brings a lot of energy to your life, Jenkins might just be your perfect match.  Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is in a foster home. More information about this cat and all of our adoptable cats can be found at www.thedancingcat.org/cats. Story
Shaabo is a beautiful 4-year-old Siamese mix with a gentle and affectionate nature. She loves people and warms up quickly to new friends, even little ones! Shaabo enjoys ear scratches, cozy naps by her favorite humans, and sunny lounging spots where she can soak up the warmth. When she’s feeling playful, she’ll happily chase her feather toys and show off her graceful moves. Shaabo is spayed, vaccinated, and gets along fine with other cats, she may hiss at first but never picks a fight. She hasn’t met dogs yet, but with her easygoing personality, she may adapt well in a calm home. Sweet, sociable, and loving, Shaabo would be a wonderful companion for a family or anyone looking for a loyal feline friend. Shaabo is diabetic, but her diabetes is well controlled with insulin. She receives Lantus (glargine) injections twice a day, and she doesn’t mind them at all, they’re just part of her routine. To support her next chapter, her current caregiver is willing to cover the cost of her medication for the first year for her new family. Shaabo is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, please fill out our application here: https://www.thedancingcat.org/adopt-courtesy For more information regarding our Courtesy Posts, see www.thedancingcat.org/courtesy-postsNovember 6, 2025, 5:45 pm

Story
Meet Molly & Dash – a bonded kitten duo looking for their forever home together! Born 6/28/2025 Prepare to fall head-over-heels for the cutest pair in town: Molly, the sleek black beauty with eyes that sparkle like midnight stars, and Dash, the stunning Siamese kitten everyone dreams of adopting. These two are completely inseparable and must be adopted together; where one goes, the other is sure to follow! Molly is a gentle, soft-spoken princess who takes a little while to warm up. She’s not big on being picked up right away, but give her a quiet moment and some gentle pets, and she turns into a purring love-bug who can’t get enough affection.  She’s the queen of the highest cat tree perch, surveying her kingdom with elegant grace, and the undisputed champion of “first in line for Churu.” This smart girl is wonderfully dog-friendly (she currently shares her foster home with a 100-lb gentle giant) and gets along beautifully with other calm cats. Dash is Molly’s hilarious Siamese sidekick and the definition of quirky charm. He’s a total goofball who zooms, pounces, and makes the silliest faces that will keep you laughing all day. Like his sister, he prefers to set the cuddle pace; he might dart away at first, but once he decides you’re his person, he melts into the sweetest, most rewarding snuggler. Treats are his love language; wave a snack and watch this little charmer come running! Together, Molly and Dash are the perfect balance: she’s the calm, observant yin to his playful, silly yang. They groom each other, nap in a tangled pile of paws and tails, and bring twice the joy, twice the purrs, and twice the entertainment. These two just need a patient, understanding family who will let them settle in at their own speed. In return, they’ll reward you with a lifetime of head boops, playful antics, and the deepest kitten love you’ve ever known. If you’ve been searching for a gorgeous bonded pair; one classic black panther kitten and one stunning Siamese; Molly & Dash are ready to dash straight into your heart. Adopt them together and double your happiness! Both kittens are spayed/netuered, microchipped and up to date on their vaccines.
