Siamese kittens & cats in Big Lake, Minnesota

Meet Firefly, a gentle and reserved feline who is ready to find a patient and loving forever home. By about one year old, Firefly had already faced some challenges, having come from a difficult hoarding situation. As a result, he tends to be shy and cautious around new people and environments. However, with time and gentle encouragement, Firefly gradually reveals his sweet and affectionate nature. Firefly's quiet demeanor makes him an easygoing companion, and he gets along wonderfully with other cats. He finds comfort in the company of his feline friends and would thrive in a household with other cats who can help him feel secure and at ease. If you're looking for a calm and gentle cat who will flourish with love and patience, Firefly is the perfect addition to your family. Adopt Firefly and give this shy guy the chance to shine and become a cherished member of your home. We found lovely Appa (+ bonded Kuma) in our shed a year ago.https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/47671867-brooklyn-park-minnesota-cat Unfortunately we are unable to house him due to family circumstances. He is a sweet and independent boy. He can be very sneaky and will eat from trash bags or left out food. He also does not like his paws touched, so it can be difficult to trim his nails. Does not do well in a loud or busy household with kids, but would do great in a calm environment. He loves to lay in boxes and small/curved spaces. It may take some time to get Appa to warm up to you but after some time he is a very sweet and charming boy kitty. p.s. his special talent is getting away with things with his adorable mitten paws (he's polydactyl!). He also knows how to spin and sit for a treat :)

He is bonded with his sister Denarious. I am fostering them for my daughter who has moved out of state. Need to adopt both cats together. I am severely allergic to cats.

She is bonded with her brother Ragnar so needs to be adopted together.

Hi, my name is Baby Girl and I am from Minnesota. Baby Girl is a very special cat looking for a home where any human/dog/cat companions will respect her space and follow her cues for when she wants interaction and when she's had enough. Baby Girl has lived with another cat and a dog, and she can tolerate sharing space, but would not enjoy a playful or cuddly furry friend. She may take a little longer to warm up, but when she does she is very sweet and loving. She will want to sit on your lap while you work, and would prefer to sleep near you if you are as quiet and still as she is. She has the cutest little chirps and a very quiet voice.

*This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Meet Remoulade, affectionately known as Remy—a distinguished little old lady who has lived quite the life and is now looking for a soft, safe place to land. Remy recently found herself in foster care after being surrendered by an unhoused owner who simply could no longer care for her. Such a heartbreaking separation at this stage of life is hard on any pet, but Remy has taken it all in stride and adapted wonderfully to the comforts of home. With age comes a few special needs, but this golden girl makes every single one of them worth it. Remy has some muscle loss and joint stiffness in her hips that cause her to walk with a bit of a limp. She is an absolute star about her healthcare: she takes her pain medication and joint supplements mixed right into her wet food (breakfast and dinner are her favorite times of day!). While she still loves surveying her kingdom from elevated spots, she’s a sensible lady who just needs a little help—like a ramp or restricted access—to keep her from leaping down from high surfaces. Because her back legs aren't always able to reach every spot during grooming, she appreciates a little help keeping her gorgeous Siamese-point calico coat in order, a pampering session she absolutely adores. She also has a handful of endearing old lady quirks that her foster mom would be more than happy to fill you in on! Remy has breathtaking eyes and a heart of gold. She isn't a cat who will demand to be glued to your lap 24/7, but she deeply loves affectionate pets and will happily curl up right beside you when it’s time for one of her many daily naps. She is unfazed by dogs, cats, and kids, viewing them all with calm curiosity. Her dream retirement home is one centered around single-floor living (easily managed with a simple baby gate, as she doesn’t attempt to jump them), cozy sunbeams, and endless chin scratches. Someone who can help her stay gently active without wearing out her joints on her stiffer days would be her ideal match. If you are looking for a quiet, soulful companion to share your golden years with, Remy is ready to give you all her love. Can you give this special girl the peaceful retirement she deserves? If you’re a senior adopter in search of a senior pet to join your retirement home, you’re in luck! We offer adopters aged 65 years and older the opportunity to adopt a senior pet at a discounted fee. Senior pets count as any animal that is over nine years of age or older.
