Story
Meet Stella! I got her from the humane society in 2015 as a kitten. She has been with me through many seasons of life. Now with a ever growing family and moving its time to close our chapter and start and new one with a family that will love her the later part of her life. She does have her nails so be sure to have a cat tree of some sort. Is very well litter boxed trained. I've never had her go outside the box before. She does well with dogs and kids. She is gentle with kids and will tolerate a lot from them. Stella is an indoor cat only. She is independent during the day and loved to cuddle at night. She would be a good companion cat to love.

She is a one person one pet cat. Hisses and swipes at everyone else. Aggressive to other cats, will stalk them and bite/claw. Semi-tolerant of dogs over 50lbs. Not good with anyone but her person. She is litterbox trained. She really likes running around the back yard. She will come in when she is done chasing bugs.

Story
Saffron came to us as a tiny kitten and has grown into the sweetest, most loving little guy you could imagine. He’s everything you’d expect from a young kitty — playful, curious, and always ready for fun! He absolutely loves toys and enjoys romping around with other cats. At about 12 weeks old, Saffron had an adopter lined up, but shortly after, he developed megacolon — a condition that causes severe constipation. It took many vet visits and trying different medications before we found the right one for him. The good news? He has been doing fantastic for the last three months! Saffron will need to remain on a daily medication (about $60 per month), which he takes easily when mixed into his food. It’s become just a simple part of his routine. You truly wouldn’t know anything was ever wrong — he feels great, acts like a normal happy kitty, and doesn’t let anything slow him down. Saffron is ready for a committed home that understands his condition and will continue his care so he can keep thriving. In return, you’ll get a sweet, playful, affectionate companion who will fill your home with joy. Could you be the special family Saffron has been waiting for? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. The Avenger Brothers were part a local TNR project from STMA area. They all arrived with upper respiratory infections when they were trapped and struggling to thrive. While being cared for by the foster, they have thrived and are loving the safety and security of a home. They are looking forward to having a home to call their own and putting the outdoor life behind them forever.  We are learning more about each of them and will be updating their bios as they become settled in more.  They all will need to be adopted either with a sibling or must have another cat in the home. He is very shy and will need a patient and calm home, probably no young kids. He takes a long time to warm up to people and will likely not want to be touched for quite a while as he settles in. If you're looking for a guy who has is true to the cat personality of I will come out and I will be touched on my terms, well, he is exactly that. He will provide you with enteretainment from afar.  Applications available online https://mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 20, 2026, 5:34 pm

To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you'd like to donate towards this pet's care, you can donate to our Animal Care Fund.   Our Animal Care Fund supports the medical and veterinary needs for all Ruff Start Rescue animals. You'll be able to enter this pet's name on the second page of the donation form. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners. Story
Murietta came from a hoarder’s house. The house was so crowded with stuff and other cats that Murietta was forced to find a place to call her own - the rafters. It’s been years since Murietta was rescued from that hoarder’s house but the horrors she lived through are fresh in her head. Years later, she still prefers the rafters. She likes to be up high. Her tower is her security. Murietta doesn’t live completely in her castle in the clouds. When she does venture down to earth, she loves to curl up with her friend Scrappy. Scrappy is very similar in purrsonality to Murietta. He hasn’t been convinced that he needs to interact with humans. Both Murietta and Scrappy are sweet cats. There’s not a bad bone in their bodies. They just prefer cats to humans. Their adopter needs to appreciate their preferences. Murietta is very bonded to her friend Scrappy. She must be adopted with him. Scrappy and Murietta are currently in foster care. Please contact our adoption specialists at adoption@kittyrevolution.org or submit an application to meet them.
