Story
i got Caspur (3yr) as a therapy cat at 8 weeks old from a breeder. he was diagnosed with anxiety and idiopathic cystitis around 1 year old. he needs daily anxiety medication in morning and night, special urinary health food, and to be monitored for urinary distress as he's had UTI's and bladder blockages. his new home needs to be stress free as it increases chances of crystals in his bladder. i cant deal with the stress of an anxious cat and his medical needs. he loves going for walks outside on his harness, bird toys, and sitting by the window. he's vocal. he only purrs around me and sits in my lap so im unsure how his behavior would be with a new family but he warms up. he cannot have strings/hair ties as he will eat them. he connects with his main owner and is microchipped

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Yenn, our resident "Grumpy Cat" doppelganger with a heart of gold, currently searching for her forever home! Yenn is a shy beauty who takes her time getting to know new people, but once you earn her trust, she reveals a sweet and affectionate side. While full body cuddles aren't quite her style yet, Yenn absolutely adores chin scratches and gentle head pats. These are the keys to her heart, and she'll lean right into your touch, soaking up all the affection you have to offer. Interestingly, as she's grown more comfortable in her foster home, her preference for being held has lessened – she's a feline who values her independence! Yenn finds comfort in the presence of her sister, Triss, and can often be found snuggled alongside her. While Triss is definitely the more demonstrative cuddler of the two, Yenn appreciates the quiet companionship. She's looking for a patient and understanding home that respects her boundaries and celebrates her unique personality. If you're looking for a charming, slightly reserved feline friend who will reward your patience with loving head scratches and a quietly content presence, Yenn might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet this beautiful girl and see if her grumpy face can charm its way into your heart! Yenn is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 1, 2025, 1:33 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is located at our same-day adoption center partner, St. Louis Park PetSmart. Please contact this location prior to visiting to ensure this animal is still available. A paper adoption application will be completed on site so please do not submit an online adoption application. For more information on adopting from one of our adoption center partners, please visit our Adoption Center Animals page.   Meet Linguine, the purr-fect blend of playful kitten and affectionate snuggle bug, ready to noodle his way into your heart! This handsome boy, with his captivating big blue eyes, might be a tad shy at first, but give him a moment, and he'll transform into the ultimate lover boy. Linguine lives up to his pasta-inspired name with his charming flexibility – a little timid beginning, then overflowing with love! Once he feels comfortable, he'll be a constant source of nuzzles and snuggles, seeking out your lap for cozy cuddle sessions or enjoying being held like a baby. His very affectionate nature means you'll be treated to endless head boops and purrs! Beyond the cuddles, Linguine is a whirlwind of high kitten energy. He adores playing with any toy he can get his paws on, with a special fondness for crinkly fun and bouncy balls. A good chase with a wand toy is guaranteed to bring out his playful best! While he hasn't been around dogs, his adaptable nature suggests he would likely be fine with canine companions. If you're searching for a devoted, cuddly, and playful companion who will fill your home with joy and affection, Linguine is eagerly waiting to become your new best friend! Linquine is from a stray surrender with 2 siblings. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.   Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 11, 2025, 9:37 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!       Date of Birth: 9/15/25 Weight:  Good with dogs: unknown Good with cats: unknown Litter box trained: Yes *indoor cat only*   Meet Willow — The Sassy Sweetheart! Willow may be tiny, but she has big personality energy. This little cuddlebug loves being close to her humans, but she’s also known for her sassy streak — she’ll happily “talk back” with adorable kitten chirps and mews whenever she has something to say (which is often!). Her curiosity knows no limits. Whether it’s a new box, a mysterious corner, or something she definitely wasn’t supposed to get into, Willow will be there first, exploring it with wide eyes and fearless enthusiasm. Life with Willow is equal parts cuddles and comedy. She is litter trained, eats kibble like a pro, and is more than ready to bring her bold spirit and snuggly charm into her forever home. If you’re looking for a kitten who’s equal parts sweet, sassy, and endlessly entertaining, Willow is your girl. Please note that this is a strictly indoor cat. This kitten may may require a home with another kitten as kittens are family oriented and do best when adopted in littermate pairs. Please fill out a Feline application here: https://underdogrescuemn.com/adoption-applications/feline-adoption-application/ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. Story
I have had Twig for 14 years. She was bonded to my cat that passed away 4 years ago and we've struggled to normalize her life and behavior since. The loss of her friend has made her territorial and needs to be the only animal in a home. I have 2 other cats and she's exhibited aggression towards the younger animals as they also need my attention. I brought in a cat behavioralist and the outcome was - she needs to be an only pet. On her own, she's a sweet, affectionate old lady that wants your attention and a warm spot to sleep all day. She's currently separated from the other cats in her own room and uses the litter box flawlessly. If she feels threatened or her territory encroached on, she will mark what she believes is her space. So some space integration and trust building with her will go a long way. I can provide the litter box she uses and her medical records. The $50 fee is to assure you're serious and can care for her - and will be donated to the Bitty Kitty Brigade.
