Rescued from a hoarding case, Daisy is a nine-year-old, 60-pound shepherd mix who thrives on having her own space. Although she's feral and prefers to keep her distance from people, she would be a perfect fit for a farm where she can put her excellent perimeter-walking skills to use. Daisy is a natural at keeping predators off your property and would be a valuable asset in a farm setting. She gets along well with chickens and cats, and she's generally good with other dogs. While she's fine with people, she prefers to stay away and enjoy her independence. Given her background and feral nature, Daisy currently lives in boarding due to her fear of people. She would do great on a fenced-in farm where she can roam freely and enjoy the barn life without the risk of wandering off. Berne, means 'bear-like' and this boy is so cute and has the waddle of a bear! As cute as he was we noticed something else was going on with this boy besides being a tail-less wonder. His back end seemed smooshed. We got him checked out, after x-rays and evaluation he has a compressed spine. This is common in some breeds. We don't know his breed but it will be something he has forever. He is not in pain and still acts like a normal puppy. As he gets a little bigger, we will see if there are any remedies or treatments that might help him but we do suspect he will live a happy life and would be an awesome addition to any family. He may need to be in household with older kids so he doesn't get knocked around. He is potty trained. He is doing great with crate and leash training. He loves tug of war, bully sticks and pestering his older foster siblings. He has spurts of energy a couple times a day, doesn't last long and otherwise very chill! Vet suspects he will get to 30 pounds. This sweet boy was found as a stray in a park. Amber and her sister, Margot, were dumped, and luckily, not like so many other dumped dogs that get killed or starve, they were picked up by someone in rescue. They have been together all their lives, and we would love to see them stay together if possible. The girls sleep and eat in the same kennel and love to cuddle together. Amber has good house manners and is crate trained. Margot and her sister were picked up as strays. Luckily, someone found them before they starved or were killed. She and her sister, Amber, have been together their entire lives, so we would love to see them adopted together, if possible.Both girls are athletic, but Margot so much that she can jump and climb over the fences at her foster home to go where she pleases. Luckily, she stays on her property and goes into different areas to play with the other dogs or her foster family. Her foster has not worked on trying to keep her contained, but this would be a concern until she could adjust to her new home; she does have excellent recall. We have a portable containment system to send with her for someone willing to work with that training.Margot lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone, including the livestock rescues. She has good house manners, is crate trained, and is working on walking on a leash.She is fully vetted - current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartwormprevention.

PROS: Friendly and social – Enjoys being around people and other animals. Affectionate – Loves cuddles, pets, and spending time with humans. Good with kids – Gentle and patient around children. Good with other dogs – Gets along well with other pets. Calm temperament – Relaxed, not overly anxious or hyper. Well-behaved indoors – Doesn’t chew furniture or cause damage. House-trained – Knows to go potty outside Basic obedience – Knows commands like sit, stay, come, or down. Smart and trainable Good traveler – Rides calmly in the car. CONS: I am to believe that he is a high anxiety dog especially when nobody is home. He marks inside the house only when nobody is home with him and when we keep him outside for the duration that we’re gone, he still finds a way to hop over the fence. We’ve tried numerous of things to keep him contained in the back yard but he still keeps finding ways to escape. Like previously stated, he’s house trained but ONLY marks when left alone inside.
