Story
King Moe is an 11‑pound, 1‑year‑old Beagle boy with a heart far bigger than his size. He was surrendered to the local animal shelter by his family, and while owner surrenders are usually heartbreaking, this one likely saved his life. When we found him, King Moe was rail‑thin, missing patches of fur, and had severely overgrown nails. It was clear he hadn’t been very loved. But King Moe didn’t let that define him. Despite everything he’s been through, he is the sweetest, gentlest, most affectionate little love bug you’ll ever meet. Truly, he should not be this sweet after the neglect he endured, and yet he is. Every single person who meets him falls in love instantly. He’s that special. In his previous home, King Moe lived with kids, dogs, and cats, and reportedly did wonderfully with all of them. He’s friendly, social, and just wants to be close to his people. Now this little king is looking for the very best home, one that understands the famous Beagle nose and the lifelong mission that comes with it: the hunt for snacks. A family who can give him structure, love, and endless affection will get all of that (and more!) right back from him. If you’re ready for a loyal, loving companion with the softest ears and the sweetest soul, King Moe is waiting. Please start with the adoption application at www.phoenixanimalrescue.com He will come vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500. Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Meet Sweet Amber &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Amber came heartbreakingly close to losing her life at a high-kill animal control facility in Greeneville, TN. She was picked up as a stray with her puppy, and while her baby was adopted, Amber was sadly left behind and scheduled for euthanasia. Thankfully, A Voice for Pets Rescue learned of her situation and stepped in just in time—rescuing her on the very day she was set to be euthanized. Since then, Amber has proven to be an absolute gem. She gets along beautifully with other dogs of all sizes, is 100% crate-trained and house-broken, and is as sweet as they come. She also walks nicely on leash (with a little “power-steering” assist ). Amber is approximately 5 years old and fully vetted—spayed, heartworm-negative, dental, and up to date on all vaccinations. She looks like a Beagle/Boxer mix and is the perfect medium size at about 30–35 pounds Her foster admits she’s getting very attached (who wouldn’t?), because Amber truly is the perfect dog. Now all that’s missing is the forever home she so deeply deserves. Adoption Fee: $400 Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption,  please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process, please email:  rescuedp2024@icloud.com  or ddlu219@yahoo.com   for dog/puppies.    APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG     CAT     BIRD      REPTILE       SMALL ANIMALS        January 7, 2026, 11:46 am

KENNEL ID #18804 Bodie is one year old,  very smart, and oh so sweet! He knows to sit and is very trainable. He was on death row at a high kill facility. What a shame it would have been to ended the life of such a great dog. He is neutered and fully vetted. He only needs one thing, a great home! If you have questions about Bodie is hanging out with his rescuer and foster mom, Carol, in Tennessee. If you have any questions, please email her at abandonedangelsinc@gmail.com. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Hey there, I’m one of the lucky beagles — and wow, do I have a story! &#226&#156&#168 I’ve spent over half my life being beaten and mistreated. My owner ran a cockfighting ring (yeah, real classy guy ), and when he finally got caught, all five of my beagle buddies and I were scooped up and taken off the property. We were terrified. But honestly? At that point, I figured things couldn’t get much worse. …well, turns out, they almost did. We were scheduled to be euthanized — and no, that’s not like a fancy award or a “good dog” certificate. It’s the bad kind. The “game over” kind. But then… BOOM! Hero moment! ‍&#226&#153&#128&#239&#184&#143‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue swooped in and saved five of us! Another rescue had already claimed one, so the six of us were split up with care. A super cool couple agreed to take the three of us who were the most scared (hey, no shame — some of us are just delicate, okay?). The two braver beagles went off to the ranch, where they can run, play, and show off their confidence. As for me? I’m about to learn what it’s like to be loved — like, actually loved. Soft beds, belly rubs, snacks that I don’t have to steal, and humans who don’t yell or hit. Am I ready for a better life? HECK. YES. Bring on the treats, the naps, and the “who’s a good girl?” speeches. Spoiler: It’s me. I’m a good girl.REQUIREMENTSAnother dogFenced yard Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5.
