APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. Gigi is possibly an Italian Greyhound mix. She is tall and naturally skinny. She is very agile but yes only 20 pounds! We estimate her DOB 2/21/24. She is shy but has made giant strides to become friendly and especially playful. She loves to play with other dogs and stuffed toys. She will require a solid privacy fence at least a 5 ½ ft + fence) because of her agility. She does go over our 4ft fence…not to run away… just because it looks fun on the other side. She comes right back over the fence to come in the house. She really should be trained for Agility competition. Gigi could be with children if they’re older… 10+… and understand how to deal with a shy dog. I have total faith she will become more outgoing in a short time. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. She can jump a 4.5/5 foot fence so must have a 6 foot privacy fence. We say 5.5 ft fence but all privacy fencing we have seen is either 4 foot or 6 foot. Yes if you are with her in the yard she likely will NOT attempt to leave but....... We do not have a foster with a 6 foot secure wood fence so we do not have a way to bring her to foster in WA so she must be pre adopted, she adores all dogs!. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Meet Mundaka! This sweet pup may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and she’ll show you her playful, active side. Mundaka loves to romp around with other dogs and would be happiest in a home with a canine friend to help boost her confidence. She’s looking for a patient family who will let her blossom at her own pace — and join her in all the fun once she does! Our adoption process and application can be found at - https://www.sunnyskysshelter.org/our-adoption-process Note: Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Since we cannot always know the exact breed mix of our rescue animals, the information provided is simply an educated guess. For other questions on our dogs/cats please send an email to info@sunnyskysshelter.org.

Story
Meet Jack! 🐾 Jack is a sweet, senior cuddle bug with a heart full of love. At about 9 years old and 40 pounds, he’s the perfect size to fit right next to you—and that’s exactly where he wants to be! He gets along wonderfully with people and other dogs, but his favorite spot will always be right by your side, closer than your shadow. Jack’s gentle, affectionate nature makes him an easy companion, though he does have a bit of anxiety. Because of this, he’d thrive in a calm, stable environment where he can feel safe and secure. In return, you’ll have a loyal friend who will greet you at the door every day with a toy in his mouth and a kiss ready just for you. He’s fully house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is used to using a doggy door. When you’re away, he’s happy to snooze on the couch until you return. If you’re looking for a devoted sidekick to share your days, Jack is ready to fill your home—and your heart—with unconditional love.

PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES AND APPLICATIONS FOR ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Meet Sweetie! Sweetie is a fun and loving girl who loves to spend time with people and playful kind dog companions. She is an active girl who is looking for a home with space to romp around. While she isn’t super heavy, she is on the taller side with her long legs. While with us she has done well with the other dogs she has met and with the cats she has met. She would also do well as an only dog. She crates well, and has been learning basic skills such as sit and wait. We are looking for a home for her that wants to put the bit of time in to make this young girl the amazing pup we know she can be! Sweeties adoption donation is $450 to help cover some of her costs including transport, spay, vaccines, vetting, and daily care. Most dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN POULSBO, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard - Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). - Western Washington (WA), and possibly Northern Oregon locations at caseworker discretion. No other out of state adoptions at this time. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adoption please fill out an application here: http://www.rescueeverydog.org/Adoption.php Answers to the application MUST be sent via message on Facebook (we do not receive applications sent via email) 1. Once the application is received it will be reviewed by that animals caseworker. 2. If your application is seen as a good fit to the pet you are applying for we will request photos of your fenced yard as well as your current crate or the crate you plan on purchasing. 3. Once received we will schedule a phone interview with you to discuss the pet and the next steps, should a match be seen. 4.
