Hi! My name is Funnel Cake. I’m way sweeter than a funnel cloud. In fact, I was rescued from the Pasadena animal shelter after it was hit by a tornado. That was REALLY scary and at first I was afraid of everything. Turned out that I had heartworms too. But, luckily SAVE Rescue Coalition found me and my foster mom has been teaching me all sorts of things! I’ve learned that people are actually pretty nice and snacks are awesome! I love treats so much that I’ve learned some other things too. I know sit, down, touch, crate, stay, and leave it. I’m potty trained and crate trained too! I even know what furniture I’m allowed on and what I’m not. I like other dogs, but my favorites are smaller dogs (I don’t mind if they’re bossy) and laid back bigger dogs. Now that I’m all healthy and I’ve learned that the world isn’t actually that scary, I’m looking for my forever home. I would love a home with another dog or a human that wants to play with me. I also really love training games and learning new things. My foster mom says I’m smart as a whip and that I’m definitely full of personality! I’m not a yappy pup, but I’ll talk (wooo) to you when I have an opinion to share. I’m probably a shepherd mix between 1-2 years old and weigh about 60 pounds. If you think I might be the pup for you, fill out an application at http://saverescue.org My foster mom will give you a call and tell you ALL about me. You can even find more pictures of me on Instagram! #funnelcakebeatsfunnelcloud

He can be timid and fearful at first, but once he is comfortable he is sweet, affectionate and playful.  He loves being with other dogs and people, once he is comfortable.  Nyx can be easily startled, so we do not recommend him in a home with children.  He was found chained to a wooden kennel with dirt floors and it seems that is where he had spent his life, poor guy.  He will need a calm, quieter home and environment.  Nyx is not suitable for an apartment/condo/townhome and will need one without cats.Nyx would love to have a sponsor.  If this interests you, please see: https://greyhoundpetsinc.org/support/sponsor-a-dog/ Greyhound Pets, Inc. - www.greyhoundpetsinc.org - 877-468-7681 WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO ADOPT A GREYHOUND? That's a foreign concept to Niabi - she's all about being up close and personal! When she's not showering you with affection, you'll find Niabi in the backyard, where she transforms into a blur of motion, racing around with an unstoppable energy. She's also an avid water enthusiast, always up for a splashing good time with the water hose.Niabi gets along with her housemates, though she's known to give them the once-over to size them up. Supervision ensures everyone gets along swimmingly. On a leash, she's eager but pulls with exuberance, a behavior we're working on refining.Chew toys are a must in Niabi's world - she loves them durable and entertaining. And don't be surprised if she engages in solo playtime; she knows how to keep herself entertained.Niabi is versatile when it comes to her ideal home - whether you're her sole focus or you have a furry crew to keep her company, she's adaptable and ready to make your days brighter. Story
Lieutenant Natasha Yar, chief security officer aboard the USS-Enterprise, reporting for duty! Of course, you can just call me Tasha. Much like my namesake character from Star Trek: The Next Generation, I am small but mighty and a true protector! I am also (partially) blonde and my funny tiny ears match Tasha Yar's short hair. Also like Tasha, I have had a rrruff life before now and am happy to start anew. I have a little bit of a funny appearance. I have my tiny ears, looong legs, and my eyes sometimes go out to the sides. It's really hard to know what breeds I may be mixed with. All I know is that I'm super sweet and loving but have no problem being feisty too. I'm still a pup after all! I love to wrestle with the other dogs in the house and we get along great, though I do have to eat separately. I get barky when I have food because I feel the need to protect it! I am doing amazing with things like house training, leash training, and being comfortable with car rides. Behind my tough exterior, I'm actually a very sweet and snuggly girl! I'll rub all over you like a cat and always be by your side waiting for love. I am even great with smaller humanoids. I'm ready for a family of my own to explore the galaxies with. Apply today!

Story
Kash is a fun, playful, friendly and outgoing guy! He will just make you smile! He is active and higher energy, but also likes some cuddle time and affection. Kash is young and hasn't had much guidance in life, so he is still very much a puppy in training. He’s a great size at only 30lbs and will be an awesome companion. Kash will need an active home, with a fenced yard, who can give him the exercise and guidance he needs. Kash will need a home without cats but gets along well with dogs his size or larger. Kash was rescued from Hawaii by Greyhound Pets Inc in Woodinville and is vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered. To meet this handsome and super fun boy, contact Moira at fastpaws1998@gmail.com.

Meet Emmy Lou. This petite little girl loves to snuggle and ready to keep you warm during these colder months. Emmy Lou has had a bit of training, especially the sit command, if you are inviting her into your lap or have a treat. She is working on no jumping. No doubt she will be an extremely loyal companion, keeping you company on the couch, on a walk, or on a road trip. Speaking of road trips, this girl loves a good car ride. Emmy Lou thinks days are more fun if she shares it with another pup! Emmy Lou is house and kennel trained. She is great with dogs of all ages and sizes and has been in foster home with infants and toddlers. She is a medium sized dog and will not get too big. She has an appointment to be spayed the first week of December. We estimate her to be around 6 months (DOB 05/03/2023) Are you looking for a sweet cuddle bug to join the family? Check out Emmy Lou, she could be the girl for you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Texas- My rescue will make all arrangements for me to travel to you as soon as I am adopted. Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported. Unfortunately, it is not possible to meet the dogs in person prior to adoption. We will Facetime, Zoom and you may speak with the dog foster family. We only send well behaved, well rounded dogs, sending anything other fails the dogs. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable. Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran and you have no clue how bad it is down here; we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision, or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.

Tully has a calm relaxed energy that makes him especially good with other dogs. He loves to play with toys but is a gentleman if asked to give them up – even his absolute favorite squeaky pig! He walks nicely on a loose lead, and greets other dogs effortlessly, putting them at their ease very quickly. Tully enjoys getting a good brush to shine up his dark coat and keep his white highlights bright. We think he may be cat trainable. He never raced but loves to run, and so a fenced yard is required to adopt him. https://www.facebook.com/share/5YAg4aP9jKspUqRd/?mibextid=qi2Omg

Story
Hi, my name is Pool! I'm a retired racer who loves long walks, neck scratches, and hanging out with people. Like many black greyhounds, I'm prematurely grey but don't let that fool you. I am very active, and would like a forever home that will take me on daily walks or at least a few times a week. I have a raincoat and I am ready to go rain, snow or shine. I was an amazing racer, and my track name was Deadpool. I miss it sometimes, and get excited when I see squirrels, rabbits or other small, bouncy animals. Don't worry, if I'm on lead I know to listen to my people and I will behave, but I wouldn't do well with cats and some small dogs because I like to chase. I have lived alone and with other greyhounds. I like attention, but I also know how to share and take turns. I do need a little time to build trust with people and other dogs, and I will let you know with a little grumble. I'm pretty talkative when I want something, and can sound like a grumpy old man when I need to go out and do my business. Don't worry, you'll get used to it and maybe even over time find it charming. If you can't adopt me, would you consider making a donation to help feed and care for me and other fosters? Maybe $5 for treats, $10 for a new stuffy or $50 for a bag of dog food. Any amount helps keep us all happy and healthy as we wait for the right forever home. Please go here to donate or learn more about me and other fosters on the Royal Hounds website. A fenced yard is required Available for adoption in western washington
