Story
This coolest girl Olive is an absolute hoot! She is all puppy, puppy, puppy! Olive is friendly, sweet and very affectionate. Olive loves to play and run, but also digs affection and attention! Sleek and speedy Olive needs an active home with a securely fenced yard (6-foot fence) and is not suitable for an apartment-condo or town-home. She will enjoy daily walks or hikes and play dates for her puppy energy outlets. Olive is a quick learner, super smart and very eager to please. Olive will need a home that can continue her training and be the leader. She is still very much a puppy and occasionally has those puppy urges to chew on things and get into things. Olive will need a home without cats. She does better with dogs that are bigger than she is as she doesn't seem to be aware of her size and strength. Beautiful Olive is about 35 pounds of pure puppy energy and delight! She is vaccinated, spayed and micro-chipped. To meet Olive and complete an adoption application, please email Moira at fastpaws1998@gmail.com.

Story
OCTAVIA WAS RESCUED AT JUST 2 MONTHS OLD AFTER BEING SEPARATED FROM HER MOTHER AND ABANDONED TO HER LUCK ON THE STREET. SHE WAS FOUND RUNNING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET WHILE CRYING DESPERATELY. DESPITE BEING SCARED AND NOT KNOWING ANYONE, SHE LET HERSELF BE CARRIED AND CARRIED LIKE THE BABY SHE WAS AT THEN SHE WAS FULL OF TICKS AND FLEAS, IN ADDITION TO IT WAS SPLASHED WITH WATER. THIS GIRL IS A VERY EUPHORIC, ENERGIC DOG AND WANTS TO PLAY WHEN SHE IS IN THE COMPANY OF ANOTHER DOG OR PEOPLE. SHE LOVES PAMPERING, HER EMOTION IS SUCH THAT IT GETS TO LICK A THOUSAND PER HOUR, SHE IS SO CUTE, AND GETS TO DISCLAIM IF THEY DO NOT PAY ATTENTION OR IGNORE HER. WE APPRECIATE HER SMALL SIZE, BECAUSE SHE IS AN EFFUSIVE GIRL. LOVES FOOD! BUT YOU ONLY HAVE TO GIVE HER WHAT HE NEEDS (AND MAYBE ANOTHER AWARD). GETS ON EXCELLENTLY WITH CHILDREN AND ADULTS, IS SOCIABLE AND CURIOUS. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transportation to Rowland Heights, Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation. The transportation fee is around $150.

He can be timid and fearful at first, but once he is comfortable he is sweet, affectionate and playful.  He loves being with other dogs and people, once he is comfortable.  Nyx can be easily startled, so we do not recommend him in a home with children.  He was found chained to a wooden kennel with dirt floors and it seems that is where he had spent his life, poor guy.  He will need a calm, quieter home and environment.  Nyx is not suitable for an apartment/condo/townhome and will need one without cats.Nyx would love to have a sponsor.  If this interests you, please see: https://greyhoundpetsinc.org/support/sponsor-a-dog/ Greyhound Pets, Inc. - www.greyhoundpetsinc.org - 877-468-7681 WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO ADOPT A GREYHOUND? Story
Animal Profile: Soda is an estimated 6- to 7-year-old, 36 lb neutered male Whippet Hound mix from Hawaii who joined us in Seattle on 6/4 to find his forever home. We will share more info as we get to know him in foster care.  Shelter Assessment: Soda came in as a stray quite emaciated but has gained weight in the shelter, though he could still use a few more pounds. He is comfortable with handling, and is easy to leash for walks. He does not appear to know any commands but is pretty mellow and not jumpy. He is not reactive to other barky dogs and plays well with others in the play yard, including puppies and young dogs. When meeting a cat he sniffed and backed away quickly when hissed at, so he may do well with other cats. He ignored the rabbit and pig. He does not show resource guarding, though he is food motivated.   Seattle Foster Update: Stay tuned for details. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was transferred from COH Animal Shelter in Hawaii and transferred by Paws Across water, he arrived in Seattle on June 4, 2023.June 8, 2023, 4:59 pm

APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster near Olympia, WA Last photo was when he was a young puppy. Please apply to adopt https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ In foster in Olympia, WA Moxley is a 40 pound ball of energy and fun! He is just under a year old and has lots of puppy energy left. He is possibly a mix of whippet and? who knows? Bull Terrier ?. He has a short white shiny coat with a few tan spots around the ears and black eyeliner that enhances those puppy eyes. Moxley loves being outside in the yard running and chasing butterflies. He loves people and craves to be the center of attention. He gets along well with other dogs and would do great in a house with a dog that can match his energy as he’s always wanting to play and wrestle. His mellow cuddly lap-dog behavior does come out more so when he is alone or the other dog in the house is resting. Moxley is house trained and knows the basic obedience commands. He still has the puppy nature and doesn’t necessarily want to but is super smart and will do anything for a treat! He is kennel trained and can stay in his kennel overnight, however, he prefers to be snuggled up with his pack on the bed. He’s also great on car rides. He can walk on the leash but is still learning his manners. Moxley would make an awesome addition to any family! He is self-confident...and happy...and playful. His DOB is 7/10/22. Check our YouTube Video of the litter WHEN HE WAS A YOUNG PUPPY https://youtu.be/BW6GW7vXOA0 https://youtu.be/pbkzdRHA9mc https://youtu.be/PDted7-7-EI Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
