Story
Meet Karma! This sweet senior Whippet is looking for a foster and/or adopter who will dote on her. She`s approx 8yrs old and full of life depsite her previous hardships. Just look at that smile! She does have diabetes, cushings disease and sensitive skin that are being managed with medication. Ideally she would love to live with someone who is financially secure/retired, works from home or can bring her to work so they can monitor her diabetes. This is done using an app that scans her monitor. Karma is used to being around people and is easy going. She currently lives with a dog and cat but can be dog selective. Sorry, no birds, she has a very high prey drive for them. Karma is snuggly and affectionate, likes to give kisses!Likes to be scratchedLoves to lay on pillowsPotty trainedCrate trainedLoves her food which makes her easy to medicate but she can’t have treats due to her diabetes.Travels well in cars. Please email dog.sos@yahoo.com for an application or any further questions. The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Story
Hey there, it’s (Lucky) Jack . I’ve been told I’m a bit of a catch, so I figured I’d try this singles ad thing. I’m a handsome 9-year-old fella looking for my forever family. I’m good with kids, other dogs and cats, so I’m kind of a catch! I’m all about a quiet night in, snuggling on the couch and supervising your every move to make sure you’re safe from rabid squirrels. My resume includes “Master Cuddler,” “Expert Napper,” and “Professional Treat Inspector,” so I’m bringing a lot to the table. My foster mom says I’m part cat because I love to perch on the back of the couch to keep an eye on everything. I’m housebroken & independent enough that I don’t mind keeping the couch warm when you’re away. I promise to be the best boy you’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves with his whole heart, send my rescue people a message. Let’s make it official. 💙🐾

She is friendly, sweet and affectionate. She can be a little shy at first, but once comfortable she has a silly/goofy side. Loves to play and run, but also likes affection. Olive is a big time leaner! Olive is very smart and good at picking up on patterns. Olive would do best in an active home with a securely fenced yard (6 foot fence). She is currently in foster apartment home. While she does ok in an apartment, it needs to be quieter (she gets a little uneasy about the surrounding noises) and with an active family. She is a quick learner and eager to please and will need a home that can continue her training (she loves to learn). Olive will need a home without cats. She does better with dogs that are bigger than she is and would prefer to be an only dog. Olive is about 35 pounds worth of energy and delight! Sponsored by Melissa Marlow Olive would love to have a sponsor.  If this appeals to you, see:  https://www.greyhoundpetsinc.org/support/sponsor-a-dog/ Greyhound Pets, Inc. - www.greyhoundpetsinc.org - 877-468-7681 WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO ADOPT A GREYHOUND? I started life in South Korea on a dog meat farm, and though I still carry a few little scars from that time, my heart has healed so much. With the help of some kind trainers, I’ve learned what love feels like—and now I’m ready to share it with my very own person. At first, I can be a little shy and cautious (old habits!), but once I trust you, my sweetness shines all the way through. I become playful, happy, and full of zoomies—I’ll even make you laugh with my goofy side. I love to run, I love to learn, and nothing makes me happier than knowing I’ve made you smile.I think I’d be happiest as your one-and-only furry friend, since other dogs aren’t quite my cup of tea. But honestly? With a heart as big as mine, I’ll fill your world with more than enough love. A securely fenced yard would be wonderful for me, along with a patient person who’ll keep helping me grow braver and more confident every day.I may have had a tough beginning, but I haven’t let it dim my spirit. Now I just need someone to see the sweet, devoted, silly girl I am and say, “That’s my dog.” My name’s Darcy—and I can’t wait to make you smile too. ❗️Mukgoo was abandoned after five years' adoption. We are looking for families in the United States❗️ **He is currently in Seattle** Meet Mukgoo🤎 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Mukgoo was rescued and adopted to a family in the US before Adogs started its mission. After living well for a couple of years, his family’s circumstances has changed. May need training when the environment changes. * Potty Training: Prefers pottying outdoors rather than indoors. * Hygiene: Is a little afraid of water. Accepts baths nicely when being handled carefully. * Walks: Is an excellent walker and matches his pace with his handler. Loves going for walks and enjoys smelling things while walking. * Likes: Loves people so much that he hops around excitedly and expresses a lot of happiness with them. * Dislikes: Is a bit scared of sudden loud noises. * Tricks: Is a smartie that has mastered "sit down," "wait," and "paw."

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet White🤍 💙 Adogs Update Account: @_adogs_everyday 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, heartworm negative, and dental scaling completed. * Has received dental scaling, but due to significant tooth staining, the teeth don’t appear very clean. One or two canine teeth are slightly chipped, but there is no nerve damage, so no immediate treatment is necessary. 2⃣ Rescue Story * White spent time at a dogslaughter farm in Juksan, where he witnessed his fellow dogs being killed right before his eyes. He lived in constant fear, but when Adogs shut down the farm, he was finally given a second chance at life. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is a bit shy. Approaches to sniff and sticks around familiar people, but runs away if you try to touch him. If you corner him a bit so he can’t run away, he accepts being petted. Is okay with familiar people touching him at any space! You can minimize the time it takes to get closer to him with treats. Although he isn’t yet affectionate with people, he’s in the process of opening his heart and will get close to people quickly once he lives in a family home. * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs and does not cause issues. Is not particularly interested in approaching new dogs first. Seems to prefer smaller-sized dogs and plays well with familiar companions. * With Cats: It is unclear how he will react as he hasn’t met cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he is currently living in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Does only outdoor pottying at our center. * Hygiene: Runs away when you try to take care of him but once you catch him and start petting and brushing him, he stays still and enjoys it. * Walks: Gets a bit nervous when walking outside so it’s recommended to take him out to quiet and familiar places. Doesn’t pull on the leash but tends to get stubborn when something scares him. * Car Sickness: Is comfortable with riding in a car without motion sickness. * Doesn’t bite, even defensively. * Rarely barks, but has copied other dogs if they bark when visitors come to the center. * Likes treats so much that he sometimes overpowers his fear of people! * Becomes wary and frightened of unfamiliar people, vehicles, or external stimuli.

We haven’t found any separation anxieties so far, She seems to be beyond happy when the owners come back home though.
