Senior girl(13yrs) that needs more love/attention/calm stable life/routine. People never believe she’s 13. She is super sweet and everyone loves her. -Wants to be the center of the universe, but does enjoy her space as well. -LOVES car rides. Needs to socialize w/people. -Needs to run at least 2-3 X week. -LOVES MudBay! -Knows a few tricks -Loves her sweaters/jackets -Ok on leash but she does pull when excited or scared. Knows heel, but can be tough sometimes. -Sensitive to emotions. -Fear of noises. Terrified of fireworks. -MUST use positive reinforcement- no clicker tho. She gets scared when mad/irritated/yelled at; she will fear bite!! -Food/bone/chew aggression. Worked 2.5yrs to get her to trust me, no hands for others. -Does ok in home by herself, but would prefer to be around her people all day. -Is not a long distance hike/walk dog. -Loves to play fetch, tug, “suck on her binky” a stuffed beach ball.

Hi! My name is Funnel Cake. I’m way sweeter than a funnel cloud. In fact, I was rescued from the Pasadena animal shelter after it was hit by a tornado. That was REALLY scary and at first I was afraid of everything. Turned out that I had heartworms too. But, luckily SAVE Rescue Coalition found me and my foster mom has been teaching me all sorts of things! I’ve learned that people are actually pretty nice and snacks are awesome! I love treats so much that I’ve learned some other things too. I know sit, down, touch, crate, stay, and leave it. I’m potty trained and crate trained too! I even know what furniture I’m allowed on and what I’m not. I like other dogs, but my favorites are smaller dogs (I don’t mind if they’re bossy) and laid back bigger dogs. Now that I’m all healthy and I’ve learned that the world isn’t actually that scary, I’m looking for my forever home. I would love a home with another dog or a human that wants to play with me. I also really love training games and learning new things. My foster mom says I’m smart as a whip and that I’m definitely full of personality! I’m not a yappy pup, but I’ll talk (wooo) to you when I have an opinion to share. I’m probably a shepherd mix between 1-2 years old and weigh about 60 pounds. Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they are adopted. ALL our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Lucy - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Just one look at this face and you'll be hooked. I'm a tad bit shy at first meet but it only takes me a NY minute to warm up and want to be your next BFF. I'm a happy happy gal that loves being outside exploring...everywhere! I do great on the leash and will make a great pawtner on neighborhood strolls and nature hikes. I'm also a good girl on car rides, making me an excellent co-pilot for any errand runs or sight seeing trips. I am house trained and do great with other dogs. Having a playful sibling to chase around the yard stealing...err I mean sharing toys would just be the bomb. At around a year old I'm still pretty much a pup yet that will need daily exercise and playtime but with that in I should do great in town with a yard, out on a farm or anywhere in between. And my 16ish lb adult weight puts me at a great size to be that pawsome family member! Do you need that special someone to share in your adventures? Well, guess what?
