Story
DOB 12-15-2024 Minnie is a sweet girl, social and cute. She is up to date on all medical for her age. Adoption fee 950.00, transport fee 165.00. Minnie comes with her complete medical history and registration papers. Minnie is a little girl, maybe 6 pounds as an adult. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
You can just look at this spunky little guy’s pictures and tell that he is going to be a whole lot of fun! He loves playing with his toys and exploring and playing in the yard. He is also pretty fond of people and he enjoys any attention that they see fit to give him. He is a good natured and happy boy and like most Yorkies he is fairly active and independent. Murphy is good with other dogs, cats and children…he is crate trained, but still working on his house training. Although he weighs 15 pounds, he is a purebred Yorkshire Terrier (I have his Continental Kennel Club registration papers) and will look more the part once he has been groomed. My wish for Murphy is to be adopted by a fun and active family that will love him and include him in their everyday comings and goings. Murphy is 1 1/2 years old (dob 10/1/23), has been neutered, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Murphy is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
