Story
BACON BITZ IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!    Meet Bacon Bitz, handsome and cuddly. Bacon is a 7 year old yorkie that weighs about 8 pounds. He brings all the adorable you need. You must provide the lap, the gourmet soft food and soft snacks, and 1000% (not a typo) of your love and attention. That is the assignment…any questions? Why soft food you ask? You see, Bacon’s first owners totally neglected his dental care, so, Bacon Bitz lost all of his teeth due to periodontal disease.  But the good news is, he will never spend a dime of your hard earned cash on expensive doggy dental care!   But he will require soft food for the rest of his best life. Currently he is loving Honest Kitchen Turkey recipe dehydrated recipe.   Bacon is housetrained. He is ok with other same size (read: toy, 12 lbs or under) dogs, but preference will be given to the adopter who has no other dogs. Bacon ignores other dogs and deserves to be the center of your world. He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Bacon Bitz up north to his new family. You can apply to adopt him today!     If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Bacon Bitz here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 11, 2026, 10:29 am

Story
Coco is about 5 yrs of age. She's 12 lbs of love for her people and absolute sassiness for dogs that are larger than her. She is currently in foster care with several other dogs and will follow the larger dogs around the house, barking at them. She can live amicably with other dogs as long as they're around her size or smaller and or don't mind living with an adorable tyrant. She is nervous meeting people but once she gets familiar, she is an absolute doll. Such's a love bug! She is independent but still happy for any of the cuddles you offer to her. She is long haired and will need regular brushing & grooming. She does well in crate and is house trained. If you think this little girl is the one for you, pop on over to cprdogs.com and get your application in. if you'd like to learn more about her, we'd love to hear from you. Coco is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. Story
Little Man is about 7 yrs of age and he is 9 lbs of snuggles for his people and 9 lbs of sass for any dogs larger than him. We aren't sure if it's bravery or just a lack of sense, but he will chase a larger dog around with all he got, barking at them like it's his job. He's in foster care with several other dogs and could certainly live with other dogs as long as they don't mind a bossy new sibling! He is a little nervous meeting new people but once he gets to know a person he is a complete love bug, wanting to be close to his person. He is potty trained and crate trained. If you think this little fellow is the one for you, rush over and put in your application. If you'd like to know a little more about him, we'd love to hear from you. Little Man is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. Story
DOB 4-6-2026 Sidney is a cute and sweet little boy looking for a home. He loves to play, is social and gets along with the other little dogs. He is up to date on shots and medical for his age and will come with all his records. Sidney's adoption fee is 950.00 and transport is 165.00. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
