Story
BACON BITZ IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!    Meet Bacon Bitz. Bacon is a 6-7 year old Yorkie. Bacon has a great talent for supervising others, including humans. If his human works from home, that would just be heaven! Oh, and he loves to cuddle and if he can sleep next to you, i promise not to snore (much). You can see from my picture that regular grooming is a MUST. If you will not keep me GQ photo shoot ready, you are not my people. I mean, a gentlemen has standards! One other thing i love is car rides. So when the weather is cool enough, let's drop the top and go for a spin. Bacon’s best home will be a family with kids beyond the squealing age who have excellent dog manners. A secure fenced yard is needed. A solid history of excellent vet care for current/previous pet is required. He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Bacon Bitz up north to his new family. You can apply to adopt his today!     If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com   You can apply to adopt Bacon Bitz here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
Name: Pancake Nicknames: Fluffernutter. Little One. Princess. Pumpkin. Crazy Girl. Breed: Terrier mix Sex: Female Age: 4 years Weight: 12 lbs. Before OMD: Animal Control seized 37 dogs from a hoarding situation (dogs were kept in a barn in filthy conditions) and reached out for help. Pancake was one of the last dogs left at animal control from the case and, especially after seeing the videos of her trembling in her kennel, we knew we needed to help. Energy Level: Medium. Loves to walk around the house carrying her toys, and play in the yard... then nap... then repeat. Affection love: Low. She wants to be in your area, wants to sleep in your bed, and wants to have your attention, but she does not want your pets....at least at first. Apartment Friendly: Not so much. She has been known to bark when alone, so shared walls are not ideal. Tagline: "Don't scare me. I poop easily" ...really. Pancake's natural reaction to being scared (of a new person picking her up, at the vet, etc.) is to release her bowels... What we love most: She is a true character, and constantly keeps us laughing. Her innocent nature. Her chewbacca yodel noises. Her full-on butt wiggles when she's excited to see foster mom. When she drapes herself, all stretched out, across the bed or couch, half on/half off. What she loves most: Greenies. Sunbathing. Yard time. Her foster siblings. Running in circles around the kitchen island, toy stuffed in her mouth, when foster mom comes home. Stealing all the toys and depositing them throughout the yard (but mainly on top of the hill, unfortunately). Cat/dog beds. Doesn't love: Being on leash or attempting to go for walks (she will freeze, thrash around, and or pancake...hence how she got her name)...basically anywhere outside the comfort of her own house/yard and anyone who isn't her foster mom. Skills: Jumping over gates or playpen walls. Keeping a close eye on you from anywhere in the house (but please don't look back and make eye contact, she's trying to be sneaky). Playing dead when being picked up or having harness put on. Kids: Nope. They are loud, chaotic, and scary. Dogs: Yes! Pancakes will thrive with another dog in the home. Cats: Yes! Housetrained: Definitely not (understandable given her history). Rugs are not safe from this girl...and she has a cool little party trick where she shimmies her booty up to poop in unattended shoes at 2am. Crate trained: Does not like to be closed into the crate, but she's often gone into the open crate with the bed and blanket. Ideal home: Low-traffic home who isn't scared off by accidents and isn't offended by a dog who doesn't want their attention at first. Her forever family should be incredibly patient, not rushing her and understanding she wants to be left initially. Over time (weeks-months) she will warm up to her people and they will get to see her full body wiggles, her hilarious noises, her prancing but the immediate expectation should be that you essentially have a cat who isn’t litter box trained (but way cuter and funnier). Pancake is spayed, vaccined, heartworm negative and microchipped. She is available for adoption to residents of CT and surrounding states. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application from our website.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Cupcake, a sweet senior Yorkie with a heart as big as her name is adorable.  Born around March 18, 2018, and weighing just 9.7 pounds, this little lady has quite the story to tell. Cupcake was found wandering alone down a deserted country road, covered in painful mats and stickers, clearly having been through a tough time. Despite everything she endured, her gentle spirit never faded. After getting the care she desperately needed—including grooming and the removal of several rotten teeth—Cupcake has made an incredible comeback and is now thriving in her new chapter. Today, Cupcake is happy, healthy, and full of life. She loves going on walks, enjoys spending time with her doggy friends, and walks beautifully on a leash. She’s also fully potty trained, both on a potty pad and during walks, making her an easy and wonderful companion. Cupcake is ready to find her forever home where she can be cherished and spoiled like she deserves. Her adoption fee is $300, and you can apply to adopt her at www.adoggie4you.org . If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a resilient spirit, Cupcake might just be your perfect match This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 15, 2026, 1:22 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Emmit! Emmit is a tiny 8.5-pound neutered male Yorkie with a big personality packed into a small body. Born on September 4, 2024, this little guy may look like a cuddly teddy bear—but he’s got a bit of a “grumpy old man” attitude that makes him all the more charming. When Emmit first meets new people, he likes to put on a tough act. He may grumble or growl at first, just to let everyone know he takes his personal space seriously. But don’t worry—his heart is easily won over with a few yummy treats or some delicious chicken. Once he realizes you’re a friend, his softer side comes out quickly. Emmit’s journey to rescue hasn’t been the easiest. He was picked up by animal control after being chased and harassed by adults. Understandably frightened, he would only approach children, who ultimately helped catch him safely. While at animal control, he was extremely scared and did snap out of fear, scratching an officer, which meant he had to spend time in quarantine. When we were asked to take him in, we gladly welcomed him—and he has not attempted to bite while in our care. Underneath his grumpy exterior is a little dog who really just wants to feel safe and loved. Emmit absolutely adores sitting in someone’s lap and soaking up attention once he trusts you. With patience, kindness, and a few tasty snacks, he becomes a loyal little companion. Emmit would do best with a family that understands he may need a little time to warm up and will give him the reassurance he deserves after his rough start. Adoption Fee: $500   Apply to adopt Emmit at: www.adoggie4you.org If you’re looking for a tiny companion with personality, charm, and a love for lap time, Emmit might just be your guy! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Sprout: The Tiny Lightning Bolt! If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a Yorkie mix stuck his paw in an electric outlet, look no further. Sprout is here to show you exactly what "permanent bedhead" and "infinite energy" look like! Born around July 28, 2024, this 17.8-pound wire-haired wonder isn't just a dog—he’s a fuzzy, four-legged battery that never needs recharging. The Sprout Experience The Energizer Bunny: Sprout doesn't really "walk"—he vibrates from point A to point B. He is constantly on the move and ready for the next adventure, game of fetch, or zoomie session. The Wiggle Worm: Trying to hold Sprout? Good luck! He’s made of 50% Yorkie and 50% cooked spaghetti. He’s a professional squirmer who would much rather be playing than sitting still for a formal portrait. His "Off" Switch: Even the most high-voltage pups need a break. When Sprout finally hits 0%, he knows exactly what to do. He heads straight to his kennel—his ultimate safe spot—to power down for his next round of fun. Is Your Family Sprout-Proof? Sprout is looking for a high-energy "pack" that can keep up with his pace. If you love long walks, active play sessions, and a dog that keeps you on your toes, Sprout is your guy!  If so, you can apply for him at www.adoggie4you.org.  He weighs 17.8 pounds and his adoption fee is $400.
