📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. 🩷 Rescue Story Ongal was admitted to "Jeongeup City Shelter" in very poor condition, with her coat badly matted and tangled. She spent her days clinging to the shelter environment, clearly overwhelmed. Thankfully, she was rescued before things worsened and moved into a foster home, where she has been able to recover both physically and emotionally. In a safe setting, her bright and lively personality has begun to shine. 🌿 Temperament & Behavior Ongal gets along well with other dogs and is currently living harmoniously with a Pomeranian and a Pomeranian mix. She enjoys canine companionship and would do well in a multi-dog household, especially with dogs of similar size or age. With people, she needs only a brief moment to warm up—after about ten seconds of observation, one treat is usually all it takes for her to become friendly and engaged. Her compatibility with cats has not yet been tested. 🚶 Walking & Daily Life Ongal may pull slightly on the leash at first, but her walking is easily manageable and improves quickly once boundaries are clearly communicated. She responds well to guidance and understands verbal cues. Her shedding level is moderate, around 5 out of 10. She has no food allergies and eats very well. She strongly prefers outdoor potty breaks and will often hold her bathroom needs if she doesn’t get a walk. 🏡 Habits & Training Ongal is comfortable with grooming and does well during baths and professional grooming sessions. She does not have separation anxiety and is crate trained, staying calm and relaxed even when separated in her own space. She may bark briefly when deliveries arrive, but she settles down quickly afterward. She rides well in the car and does not experience motion sickness. 💛 Likes & Personality Ongal loves tug-of-war games and enjoys running and playing with her dog friends. She does not like sudden approaches, so calm and gentle introductions are best. A home with other dogs of similar size or age would be a great match for her. She is currently living in a foster home. 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
There is nothing more fun than having a charming Rupert in your life.  This Yorkie boy is called Rup for a nick nane and he is also known as the master of the house. This Yorkie is 19 months old and weighs 12 pounds but he is big man on campus. And what a super lover he is while also being the super duper Bossman in the household. He would do best in a home without any other dogs since he has decided to be dog selective. Some of the dogs in his foster home he likes, and some of them he doesn’t.   He is destined to just be the Only Child in his future dog home. He’s been around cats and does fine but is the feline friends decide to run, he enjoys the chase.   So just be aware.  Rupert must claim your lap and he insists on being your co-pilot when you leave in the car.  He is an excellent rider.  When you leave and then come home later he is just so happy to jump and wiggle and always gives you a happy little greeting.  This happy greeting of twirling and dancing and happy smiles will make you leave your worries at the front door. He is fully vetted and microchipped.  If you haven't noticed, he has a beautiful soft coat that sparkles in the sunlight like finely spun silk threads.  If you are interested in our boy  Rupert,  19 months and 12 lbs, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 12, 2026, 9:03 pm

Story
Wasabi — The Spicy Little Emperor 🌶️👑 If ever a dog lived up to his name, it’s this one. Wasabi is a 10-year-old, 11-pound Yorkie with just the right mix of fire and finesse. A former stray who strutted into the shelter and immediately made his opinions known, this pint-sized dynamo believes he’s earned the right to call the shots. He’s seeking a peaceful kingdom where he can reign as the one and only pet — ideally with a soft lap to preside over or a sunbeam to claim as his throne. Grooming sessions? He adores them. Sharing attention? Not so much. Moody? Occasionally. Charming? Absolutely. Fully house-trained and perfectly content to enjoy his own company, Wasabi is that rare little character who’s both independent and endearingly particular. After all, at his age, he knows exactly what he likes — and he’s not shy about letting you know! Wasabi is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $250 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system.
