At the time, an infectious disease was spreading through the shelter, and the weather was becoming increasingly cold. Realizing Soobin would not be able to survive those conditions, we urgently brought her into our care. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Can be a bit cautious around strangers, but she isn’t naturally timid. Once she gets used to someone, she is likely to open up quickly. * With Dogs: Tends to bark warily when she sees other dogs moving in front of her. * With Cats: Has not been introduced to them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Difficult to determine at this time as she is currently living in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Since she lives at our center, she currently only relieves herself outdoors. * Hygiene: Her reaction is unknown as she has not had much experience with professional grooming yet. * Walks: Due to her ongoing heartworm treatment, her walks are strictly restricted, so her leash manners are yet to be determined. * Car Sickness: Hasn't had enough experience in cars to determine if she gets motion sickness. * Has shown no signs of biting or mouthing. * Barks sensitively at the movements of other dogs, but this may be due to the unfamiliar environment. We are continuing to monitor her. * Loves treats! Even if she is feeling a bit shy about being touched, she will still accept treats from your hand.

This little guy is looking for his forever home! Charlie Brown is a 6-year-old Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, weighing in at about 11 pounds. His previous owner had to move and, unfortunately, couldn’t take him along, but we know there’s a perfect family out there ready to give him all the love he deserves. Charlie Brown is a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly—he was giving his foster mom kisses and even showing off his furry little belly within an hour! He’s housebroken, does well with smaller dogs, and even brought his favorite toy from his previous home. He’s not neutered yet, but don’t worry- we’ll take care of all his vetting and neutering before he heads off to his new home. As we get to know him better, we’ll share more about his personality, but we already know he’s a sweet, affectionate little guy who’s ready to be someone’s best friend. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Wisteria Village is a brave little survivor with a big heart. This tiny 6-pound, 1-year-old girl was recently rescued, along with 30 other dogs, from a severe hoarding situation where conditions were terrible. Our rescue and several others stepped in to give her a second chance at life. She is now safe and ready to find a loving, stable home. Wisteria is truly a gem! She is super sweet, quiet, and gentle. While she may be a little shy when first meeting new people, once she gets to know you, she comes out of her shell and her charming personality shines through. She also enjoys playing with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a confident, gentle canine companion! Because of her past, Wisteria is still learning the basics of home life. She is currently working hard on her house training and learning about walking politely on a leash. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. He’s afraid at first but show him calming love and he with settle and become quiet, crmurios and friendly. He has never bitten us since we got him but he clearly doesnt like other dogs. He’s super tiny and super adorable. He was found and given to my disabled sister whom cannot care for him. He needs a get, grooming, and potty training. I gave him a bath and he has no fleas or anything like that. He is seeking a home with lots of love.
