Story
Irish is our little red head, a 2 year old, 10 lb Yorkie/Chihuahua mix. Breed mix is just our best guess. She came to Humane Tomorrow with several of her relatives from a a bad situation. She was shy and cautious at first but has come around, and now she enjoys playing with toys, playing with the other dogs in her foster home, and being close to and cuddling with her people. Irish is crate trained and potty trained. Irish needs a home with a securely fenced backyard since she is curious about the outside world and can be creative about finding ways to get out and about. Irish is still a bit cautious with new people, but she warms up quickly. If you are interested in Irish, please complete an application, and an adoption counselor will follow up with you.

Story
Yuki is a one year old, 9 lb Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, but breed mix is just our best guess. She had a rough start in life, living in filthy conditions, with very little human contact. She is now in a loving foster home, and she is getting better each day in trusting her foster parents talking care of her. Yuki can still be shy though, and adopters will need to be patient and let her settle in at her own pace. She loves being with her 2 foster sibling dogs, but they are much older than her and do not want to play with her. Yuki would like to have another small dog to play with and learn from, but she can be the only dog if her new person is home most of the time and gives her lots of attention and play time. She learned how to use a doggie door at her foster home. She goes in a crate when the foster parents leave the house, but she is not a big fan. She will eventually learn that the crate is her very own room and safe place. At night she wants to be with her foster parents and siblings. She likes to lay in a doggie bed by herself or with one of her foster siblings. Yuki will need time to adapt to her new home and learn about the joy of being a beloved house dog. She is very gentle and would do great with kids 6 years and older.

Story
Kismet is an 1 year old Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, but breed mix is just our best guess. He looks bigger in his photos than his actual 10 lbs. He really is just a little pup. Kismet will not do well in an apartment since he tends to be bit of a barker. Kismet has lots of puppy energy and loves to run zoomies around the backyard or inside, circling around the other dogs in his foster home. He gets along with all the dogs, and he even likes the cat. He is a friendly boy, although it may take a minute for him to warm up, but then he will be your best friend. He can be a little mouthy, so we are recommending no kids under the age of 6. He loves toys of all kinds, so if he starts to chew on something he shouldn't, he is easily distracted with a toy. Kismet rides well in the car, is crate trained, and housebroken with a doggie door. "Kismet" means fate, destiny, meant to be. If you think Kismet is meant to be yours, please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Clover is a 2 year old, 6 lb Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, but breed mix is just our best guess. Clover is a tiny little girl, and we think her ears make up about half of her body weight! She is shy at first, but warms up quickly. She loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home and would do best in a home with another playful dog. She can be a bit of a nuisance if her friends don't want to play, so she might annoy older, more laid-back dogs. She is very smart and started using the doggy door and ramp to the bed immediately. The first two weeks of fostering she followed her foster mom everywhere, but as she's gotten more comfortable, she is more independent and not as clingy. She is quite the cuddler and actually sleeps on her foster some times at night. She is a very sweet girl and will make someone a wonderful companion AND at 6.5 pounds she's small enough to transport in a purse. The first step to meeting Clover is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Hello, I am looking for a home for my 2-year-old male, 8 lb Yorkie named Blade; my schedule doesn't allow for me to work from home anymore. He is utd on shots and house trained. He gets along with other animals once he gets used to them, he does bark at people and animals when we go on walks however he is able to play in "group" play at doggie daycare. He is very affectionate and understands commands such is sit, stop and knows how to play fetch. He comes with a crate (he is able to get out of his crate. I have had to use other measures to keep the gate closed) toys and food.

Story
Now that she has recovered from her eye removal and dental, Wanda is ready to find her forever home! She is 12 1/2 years old and weighs 19lbs. Per Wisdom Panel she is mostly a Yorkie/Poodle mix, but has a little bit of Cocker Spaniel and Chihuahua mixed in! Wanda has never met a stranger. She happily greets everyone she meets with tail wags and sometimes kisses. She does great with other dogs, both big and small. We believe she would do well with anyone in her forever home, including kids, cats, and other dogs. Wanda’s foster family says that she is very laid back and mellow. However, she gets super excited for meal time! She will occasionally try to play outside with her foster parents or with the other dogs in the home, but these bursts of playfulness are few and far between. She is less of a lap dog than her buddies, Willis and Naomi, and instead prefers to sleep in a dog bed on the floor. Wanda does not require a kennel and sleeps in a dog bed on the floor all night. She does not have potty accidents in the house, but only as long as she is taken out regularly, as she will not alert her fosters when she needs to go out. She had to have her right eye removed, but her vision is normal out of her left. Due to her age, her hearing is not where it used to be, but she is not deaf. Wanda is a chill, independent girl who her foster family says someone will be lucky to have. If you are interested in adopting this sweet senior, please visit rescuerowinc.org to fill out an application! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1849749##
