Story
Charlie is a sweet Akbash/Pyr mix, who is protective of his person, and has the typical Pyr attitude. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He is approximately 3-4 years old and weighs 102 pounds. Charlie does well with the smaller dogs in the current foster home, though would probably do best as an only dog. Charley very much enjoys "working"...having something to do. Though we do not allow him to be an outdoor dog, he very much enjoys his time in the yard/sun. He loves going for walks, but is often scared of other unknown big dogs. Charlie is great with the cats in the current foster home, and absolutely LOVES men!!! If interested in Charlie, please fill out our foster or adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
Half Great Pyrenees and half Akbash, Mia is the best of two awesome livestock guardian breeds. Born to hardworking livestock guardian parents, they have inherited the intelligence, loyalty and gentle nature that make both breeds so beloved. While their parents take their jobs seriously, these puppies are looking for something just a tad different - a family of their own. They are being raised with plenty of love and socialization and are growing into confident, curious and affectionate youngsters.

These pups are in Krum, Texas too!

Story
Lomi is a beautiful puppy inside and out. She spends time with her mother and one of her sisters everyday. Her mother is a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix and Lomi is an exact copy of her mother. The father is a Great Pyrenees herd dog from down the road. Lomi has been around a cat, multiple dogs, kids and other people and is great with all of them. Very sweet, smart, and playful. No health issues. She has shots, but is not spayed or microchiped. Lomi is around 3+ months old and weighs around 30+lbs. She will be a big dog. She loves to be outside and explore. I have become pretty attached to her, so rehoming her is going to be difficult. Her mother had 8 puppies. We were able to find homes for 6. We decided to keep one, her sister Priscilla. Lomi was actually claimed by a family before she was even weaned. Unfortunately, they backed out once she became ready to go. Having two puppies with their size and energy, along with my schedule is becoming too much. Let me know if interested.

Story
Meet Smiley  Smiley is a 2.5-year-old, 60-pound Great Pyrenees mix with a gentle heart and a story of resilience that will stay with you. For the first two years of her life, Smiley survived on the streets alongside her five siblings. When neighbors began threatening to shoot them, we stepped in and brought the entire family to safety. Shortly after arriving in rescue, we discovered Smiley was pregnant. She lovingly raised her puppies, and every one of them has since found a forever home. Now it’s finally Smiley’s turn. Smiley is one of the sweetest, most gentle dogs you’ll ever meet. She loves belly rubs, stuffed toys, tasty treats, and long naps on the couch after spending time outdoors. She has a perfect medium energy level and enjoys both relaxing with her people and exploring outside. Because of her past, Smiley can be timid and needs time to build trust—especially with men. She isn’t aggressive in the slightest; if she’s nervous, she’ll simply choose to walk away. Once she realizes she’s safe, her affectionate personality begins to shine, and she forms incredibly strong bonds with the people she loves. Why you’ll love Smiley:• Super sweet and affectionate• Loves belly rubs• Medium energy• Loves being outdoors• Great with dogs of all sizes• Loves stuffed toys and treats• Potty trained• Leash trained• Non-destructive in the home• Loves cozy couch naps Smiley has done well with children who understand how to go slow and let her warm up at her own pace. She has not been cat tested. Those of us who know Smiley—and her siblings—often say they are some of the best dogs we’ve ever had come through the rescue. They’re gentle, kind, grateful, and incredibly loyal once they know they’re safe. Smiley won’t be the dog who rushes up to greet everyone she meets. She’s the dog who quietly watches, slowly learns to trust, and then loves you with her whole heart. The family who gives her that chance will be rewarded with one of the most loyal, loving companions they could ever ask for. Apply to adopt Smiley here:https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/70992/generic Smiley is located in Texas but can be adopted locally or out of state. We coordinate safe transport and offer video meet-and-greets to ensure it’s the perfect fit. ##2638399##
