Meet Rosie! Rosie was originally adopted by my wife and I at 9 months old from our local shelter. We have had the privilege of having her in our home and training her in some basics over the last couple months. She’s now 11 months old, fully potty trained, crate trained, can sit and wait for her food, and a great cuddler! We take her to the dog park every other day when we can because she loves playing with other dogs. We have a small dog and kitten at home she gets along with well, but we simply don’t have the time with my wife now having a job to give her all the attention and affection she desires. Rosie would thrive in a home with kids or other pets of any kind! We have loved having her in our lives as she truly is very sweet, but we know she deserves better. Rosie loves swimming, cuddling, belly rubs, and food. She’s a great swimmer and we would be happy to provide everything needed for her new home, such as the current diet, crate, life vest and bowls. Great Pyrenees and husky mix. Oakley turns three in November, potty trained, kennel trained, listens well, eager to please good with other dogs, cats & kids. Oakley is also good around company and doesn’t jump on people. She loves visitors! Oakley has also recently been to the groomer getting a wash, cut, nails clipped, teeth brushed, the whole works. She comes with a harness, kennel, toys, food & leash. We don’t want to get rid of her but due to disability can’t give her the attention she needs.

Meet Houdini! This handsome boy came to Apollo after running the streets for a few weeks and showing up on our neighbor's land. He was very scared but once our staff caught him, he agreed to jump in the car. Houdini is a sweet boy, is around 65 pounds, and we estimate he is around 3 years old. He has been very trusting with everyone at the rescue. Houdini will need a patient family that will give him time to adjust and gain trust. The first couple of days he tried to crawl out and escape but as time has passed, he is more comfortable. Houdini will need a home with a tall wooden fence, no chain link because he can crawl over. He will need to be leashed walked, even in the backyard, for a few weeks until he relaxes and feels safe. He can be territorial with his food so he should be fed separately. Training once he trusts his owners would be great for him as well. He has been friendly with dogs at the facility, but would need slow, proper introductions with other dogs in the home. Houdini walks great on leash and has learned to sit. He has been doing great with new people as well. Houdini is located at our facility in Justin, TX. Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. Willow is a gorgeous 3 year old Great Pyrenees mix. She is now fully recovered from surgery for a dislocated knee cap (ouch!), and she is feeling great! - Willow is a smart, extremely huggable and cuddly love bug - likes playing tug and chase with toys - likes bring brushed and loves ear scratches - walks well on leash but needs a harness - gets along with other dogs but has a rough play style - should be ok with kids over the age of 6 - is not a fan of car rides, but is improving - likes to patrol the house and yard (of course she does, she's a Pyr!) - likes to run afternoon zoomies around the backyard - will do best in a home where her people are not gone for long periods of time Please submit your application to adopt Willow, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.
