Story
Hi, I’m Luna. I’m 1 year old, and my family surrendered me to Baldwin Park Animal Care Center without giving a reason. Luna is a 50-pound female Husky mix currently with her foster in Washington, where she is slowly settling in and beginning to feel safe. She is a very special girl who has already been through a lot in her short life. In the shelter, she was timid and unsure, often overwhelmed by her surroundings. Now, in a calmer environment, Luna is starting to come out of her shell. She is still building confidence around people, but she is improving every day with patience and gentle guidance. She is dog-friendly and benefits from being around other dogs who help her feel more secure. Luna will thrive in a quiet, loving home that gives her the time and space she needs to fully open up. With consistency and kindness, she will continue to grow into a confident and devoted companion.

Story
Meet Blaze a 3-4 yo stunner! He's pure white and gorgeous! Blaze is neutered, vaccinated and healthy, he loves dogs and loves adventure! Blaze loves to explore so he will need a bigger yard to keep him happy unless you are home all the time and can go for walks! He's great on leash and really easy to handle, he loves games like fetch and "find it" and is really great at nose work. Blaze loves everyone and all humans, he gets excited to see you and makes you feel like the most important person in the room! Would you like to adopt Blaze? He has been professionally trained at Springdale Pet Ranch and is so ready for forever! Blaze was left at the shelter in Los Angeles for almost 7 months, during the LA wildfires Blaze became urgently under threat of euthanasia for space, just because he was there for a long time. He is such a good boy and deserves a place and family to call his own. Blaze would also like to hang out with you temporarily if you can't adopt consider fostering! Adoption application here: www.gonetothedogsrescue.org/adoption-application or foster him while he waits for adoption: www.gonetothedogsrescue.org/foster-application!

Story
Hi, I’m Robbie. Only a 1 year and 3 months old, and I already had two families who gave up on me before I was rescued from Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Robbie is a 56 pound male Alaskan Husky currently with his foster in Nokesville, Virginia. He is the kind of dog who instantly loves everyone he meets - and people tend to fall in love with him just as quickly. Robbie has a playful, high-energy personality and thrives when he’s able to stay active, engaged, and around people. Like many young huskies, he is still learning some basic manners, but he is highly trainable, smart, and eager to interact. He loves attention, enjoys being involved in everything around him, and brings a fun, goofy energy wherever he goes. Robbie’s life did not start easy. He spent most of his young life in the shelter system after being adopted as a puppy and later returned due to “housing.” He was then adopted again, only to be returned within a few days because of “the other dog.” Despite the instability and constant changes, Robbie has remained incredibly social, loving, and full of life. Robbie is finally ready for a fresh start - a home that will commit to him for life and give him the stability, adventure, and love he has always deserved.

Story
Sparky is a beautiful 2 yo siberian husky who is so calm and cool, he is a great outing partner and goes everywhere from wineries where he lays at your feet to hiking and the beach! He is really up for anything anytime. Sparky is independent and very dog friendly with ALL sized dogs and all personalities. He plays very well with all dogs too. Sparky was rescued from LA during the wildfire emergency where he was stuck in the shelter for 3 mos waiting to be adopted. Then he was threatened with euthanasia to create space for lost dogs coming in. Sparky is a true gem and a very nice dog who thrives on kindness and adventure. He is an excellent leash walker and very treat motivated. He has great manners and we've not seen him display any adverse behaviors whatsoever. Sparky would love a home with a good and secure backyard where he can do his business and explore, he loves to sit at your feet and chill. Sparky is 60lbs, neutered, vaccinated microchipped and healthy. He is receiving professional training at Springdale Pet Ranch in Arroyo Grande, CA and they are committing to lifetime training support for any adopter. Sparky is available to anyone in CA. Story
Hi, I’m Yippee. Only a year old, and before being rescued from Baldwin Park Animal Care Center, I never had a real loving family and was found as a stray. Yippee is a 63 pound male Husky/Shepherd mix (Shepsky) currently with his foster in San Diego, California. He is a one of a kind sweet boy who loves playing with other dogs and brings a fun, happy energy wherever he goes. During his time at the shelter, Yippee quickly became the favorite among volunteers because of his affectionate personality, playful spirit, and the way he always sought attention and connection from people. Even in a stressful environment, he remained loving, social, and eager to interact with everyone he met. Like many young dogs, Yippee is still learning basic manners and will benefit from continued training, structure, and consistency. He is smart, eager to learn, and very treat-motivated, which makes him highly trainable and excited to engage with his people. Yippee deserves a forever home where he can continue growing, feel safe and loved, and finally have a place he can truly call his own.
