Story
Meet handsome and happy Romondo! Romondo is a 3-year-old big beautiful boy. His DNA panel revealed he is an Alaskan Malamute/Great Dane/Great Pyrenees mix, along with a small amount of Siberian Husky and Australia Shepherd. What a fantastic mix! Romondo weighs about 110 pounds. Romondo loves his people, is affectionate, and loves lots of attention. Romondo is built for the outdoors and loves to be outside. He enjoys hikes and is not bothered by Washington weather. Romondo would love to live on fully fenced property where he could sniff and explore and run and hang out happily with his family. Romondo also loves to just sit quietly and watch over everything. He is not an escape artist—he doesn't climb, jump over, or dig under fencing. As much as he loves the outdoors, he loves his people too. Romondo will happily hang inside too and cuddle with you anytime. Romondo enjoys leash walks around the neighborhood. He is strong and a bit of a puller, but his foster parents have been working with him and he's doing very well. His leash walking is improving so much. Romondo can get excited when walking past people and dogs, but it's just his excitement and desire to meet. If his new home had another dog, it would be best for him to live with a female dog or be an only dog. Romondo is such a terrific dog and deserves every bit of love that we can give him. Prior to rescue by Lucky Paws, Romondo was stressed and frightened in the shelter. But in foster care he has blossomed and relaxed. Romondo is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Please help us find his forever family! For more information and an adoption application- please contact Terry at contact@luckypawsrescuewa.org.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you’re dreaming of a mature, affectionate dog with a heart full of charm, LOGAN might be the perfect match for your family. This handsome boy loves a good toy&#226&#128&#145tossing session—as long as you’re part of the fun. He’ll happily chase the toy every time, but true to his Malamute roots, bringing it back is… optional. What he really wants is to share the moment with you. LOGAN is all about connection. He adores pets, quiet companionship, and simply being near his humans. He knows his basic commands—sit, down, and stay—and he’s very treat&#226&#128&#145motivated, which makes continued training a breeze. Toys don’t impress him much, but snacks? Absolutely. Currently living in foster, LOGAN is comfortable around the other dogs. In a home, he’d likely do best with a calm canine companion—or he’d be thrilled to be the one and only king of the castle. Because of his size and his desire for focused attention, LOGAN would thrive in a home without young children, or with older, respectful kids who understand his boundaries. He can be a bit shy at first, taking his time to decide who’s worthy of his trust. But once he chooses you, he’s all in—loyal, snuggly, and ready to be your devoted companion. LOGAN is searching for a forever home where he can relax, feel safe, and soak up all the love he’s been waiting for. Could your home be the one he’s been hoping for? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pup of the Week goes to YUKON , who has been making huge strides in his socialization journey these past few days! This boy has transformed from a shy, laid&#226&#128&#145back loner into a playful, outgoing goofball—with just enough dignity in his posture to make him look almost regal. YUKON has officially shed his “Mr. Shy Guy” persona. Not only has he found his confidence… he’s also found his voice. And trust us—it’s a big one! His joyful barks echo his newfound boldness, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come. Watching YUKON blossom has been an absolute joy, and we’re so excited to see him continue stepping into the wonderful dog he was always meant to be. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet JAK, a one&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old powerhouse of enthusiasm with a sweet heart and a whole lot of puppy spirit packed into a strong, athletic body. He’s the kind of dog who thrives on fresh air, open space, and adventure—he genuinely prefers spending his days outside exploring, playing, and soaking up the world around him. Because he’s been an outdoor&#226&#128&#145loving guy, Jak’s coat could use a good grooming session, and his skin shows signs of past irritation that are already improving with care. With a little TLC, he’s going to look and feel fantastic. Jak is incredibly friendly and loves people, but he’s still very much a student of life. He’ll need a home ready to invest in consistent training, structure, and plenty of exercise. He’s smart, eager, and already knows sit and shake, and he’s working hard on stay. He walks on a leash, rides well in the car, loves toys, enjoys fetch, and has a playful, even&#226&#128&#145tempered personality. He’s also independent and clever—traits that make him fun, but also can be an escape artist if left to his own devices. Around other dogs and humans Jack has shown great behavior. But he does have one very clear boundary: no chickens or ducks. His prey drive kicks in around livestock, and he’ll need a home without them. Jak is the perfect match for someone who loves an active, intelligent dog and is excited about guiding him into adulthood. With the right person—someone patient, consistent, and ready for a high&#226&#128&#145energy companion—Jak will grow into an incredible, loyal partner. If you’re looking for a sweet, spirited dog who’s bursting with potential, Jak might be the one who steals your heart.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 4:15 pm
