Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Bono - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Bono is Italian meaning 'Good'. Maybe I got that name cuz I really am a good boy. Or maybe cuz your life and mine will be 'good-er' with us together! But either way it's a 'good' name. I do have one brown and one blue eye and did you know that ancient Indian cultures believed that something with 2 different eye colors could see things both on earth and in heaven? Now that's pretty cool stuff!!! I am about 10 months old and am very active. I will need lots of exercise and playtime. I would be a great candidate for some basic training or maybe even some agility classes. I would also make a great jogging pawtner or a hiking/camping companion. I do well with people and the other foster pups here making me a pawsome family addition for any and all of those adventures we might want to go on!! At about 48lbs I should be around my adult weight and what a great size I am. Big enough for all those said adventures but small enough not to hog the whole couch. I will try to always leave enough room for you, I don't want to miss out on any of my cuddle time! I will need some weekly brushing to keep my medium length coat shiny and tangle free but my tail wagging and that adoring look of love will be so worth it! Don't worry it will still give us lots of time for my 'spoiling me rotten' time, my favoritest time, that's right...you and me time!! Are you in need of a special friend that will always be there, always have your back, will be happy going on adventures or just being there in your doing everyday life things? Yep, yep I just might be your boy!!

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Oscar! Oscar is a 2.5-year-old Malamute who came to us as his previous owner was no longer able to care for him. He is a playful and friendly boy and will need some work on his overall obedience and leash skills. He is very strong and will need a family that can physically handle his strength for leash walks and training. He would love an active family to take him for walks, adventures, or hiking. He would love a home with a securely fenced yard in a suburban or rural area where he can explore, play or just hang out. He can be jumpy, and we would recommend a home without small children due to his excitability and jumpiness as he could knock them over. Oscar is up to date on his vaccinations and will be neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $450.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Max is a 10-year-old Alaskan Malamute/German Shepard mix. Max has bounced around a couple of homes due to some behavioral issues but with the right family that is dedicated to him and his training, he can be a wonderful dog! Max will resource guard and is protective over his food, toys, and his person. His previous family claims he began this behavior after getting attacked at the dog park at the age of 2. Most of the time he is a great dog with no issues, but he will need a family that is experienced and can work with him in the areas he has some issues. He is neutered, potty trained, crate trained, and walks well on leash unless he sees a bunny, squirrel, or another dog. Since Max can be protective of his person, Max needs a single owner home or a home with two very experienced and committed owners as he will likely end up bonding with and being protective of one of the owners. We will not place him in a home with multiple people (roommates) or kids. Max would do better in a non-urban area. He's not a dog that can be left tied up outside a store and is a bite risk for strangers. The owner will have to be vigilant about proper introductions. He's fluffy and beautiful, strangers and children will want to pet him. Max should be the only dog in the home with no cats. Max is a great dog and has a lot of love to give to the right person. His adoption fee is $200.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Interested in adopting? See our adoption process.   WILLOW is a beautiful malamute that is looking for a home familiar with malamutes and their unique characteristics!  Super smart, she is house trained, does well in the car, and knows a bunch of commands including 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'paw', and 'no'.  Typical of the breed she does not prefer being told 'no' (we feel you Willow!) and will woo at you to let you know it. Working on leash skills and going on adventures will be a priority for her new family.  As smart as she is, we expect she will pick up those skills quickly! Another fun exercise activity for her is running around the yard playing with her stuffed toys.  WILLOW is picky about sharing her space with other dogs so will need to be an only dog.    She enjoys belly rubs, being brushed and giving kisses.  WILLOW  can't wait to meet her new furever family!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 26, 2023, 9:10 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.COURTESY LISTING Abram  is only 3 years old and a big, sweet good-natured boy. At approximately 100 lbs he has beautiful yellow/blue eyes, is good with other dogs, walks well on leash [but like most dogs does pull when excited] and we are working on recall. Spends a lot of time training off leash now and comes but not immediately. We don't know if he is housetrained as he is being housed outdoors with other rescues. He is currently in a 6' fenced enclosure with dig guards. No food aggression with people or dogs. Abram is shy and it takes time to trust. Loves to hike  in woods for a couple hours a day for exercise and  rides well in the car. Northern-breed experience necessary, and no children cats or little dogs please.  If you are interested in giving this shy but sweet boy a forever home, visit  http://www.laketahoewolfrescue.com/WANT-TO-ADOPT.html  and contact  MarraWatson@cruxrock.com  or 432-638-8150    IMPORTANT - Please Note:  Abram is being listed as a courtesy.
