Eva is such a sweetheart. She does good with the kids, and will be 2 years old in May. She is mostly up to date on her shots just missing a couple boosters. She is energetic because she is still young but wears out easily with a walk a day. We have two young kids and it has just been too much for us as we are going through some life stuff. She is a very affectionate dog so we would love for her to go to someone who just wants to cuddle her and be around her as much as possible. We have two cats and she does very well around them with the occasional desire to chase, but she would never harm them. She does very well around other dogs and is overall very friendly. She has never been aggressive towards anyone or any other animal. She has basic training such as sit, stay, come and does well on walks although we do still use a nose lead (which we will provide). She is also kennel trained and does well with that. We truly want the best home for her.

We can only imagine the despair she must have felt. When she got to the rescue, she was skin and bones. But she was still giving kisses and wagging her tail when we got her at the rescue. Hey guys, its me Maverick and I am looking for a new home preferably with another dog friend my size and people who can dedicate some time to training and socializing me. I do really well at doggie daycare and at the dog park - I love to run and play with other dogs. I am potty trained, sleep through the night in my bed, and know “sit, lay down, off, and go to bathroom”  and am working on “focus, wait, go to bed and place”. I enjoy going for walks but need some work on my leash manners (I really want to chase the bunnies and squirrels). I love to play with toys, especially enrichment ones (lick mats, snuffle mats, puzzle games), and of course bones and treats.   I enjoy watching all the people walking by my house.  I may have a little bit of separation anxiety when alone, so building a routine and having a doggie friend may help. I’m wary of some strangers and will need time to warm up. I know that with some people dedicated to my training that I can be the bestest boy - will you take a chance on me?
