Story
Scooby is such a good boy. Completely potty trained, knows sit and shake and loves cuddling, walks, sunbathing, belly rubs and cuddles. He sleeps in the bed and on the couch, and you can tell that’s what he is used to so we don’t really try the crate. He does great with my senior chihuahua and leash intros to dogs on walks have gone well, but haven’t had a chance for meeting with dogs that have energy and want to play. Would do more dog introductions to know for sure, but he seems just interested and wants to say hi but does bark and pull when they are on other sides of fences. He is good on the walk, but strong and does pull to see dogs, people and squirrels. So gentle with food. He’ll sit and wait to see what you have patiently. Isn’t very interested in toys or harder treats, but does like soft ones. He knows the pills are in peanut butter but will take them in meatballs. He is a big ol sweet baby. He definitely knows the word walk and absolutely loves his two walks a days.  ##2655063##

Story
Utah, boxer/pitbull mix, 70 lb, 4-5 yo, neutered maleUtah is a beautiful dog. He is calm, friendly, and happy with whatever activities are going on. He has a serious look and intense gaze, but personality-wise he is gentle, not that serious and loves to play. He is better with female dogs and a bit dominant with the male dogs. Bonded with Hutla, always goes to her kennel to check on her and get her out to play. Needs a fenced yard with 6' fence. Was successfully treated for heartworm. Adoption fee $325. Story
Meet Drake! The sweet boy was rescued at the last minute from the euthanasia list of a high kill shelter in San Antonio, Texas. He is 45 pounds and is thought to be a Boxer mix. He has dark, beautiful brindle markings and golden-colored eyes... very striking! Not only is he beautiful, Drake is also very smart- he knows sit, stay, lay down, and kennel. He listens amazingly well. Drake is friendly with other dogs and seems to be good with cats as well. There isn't a person he meets that he doesn't love- are you ready for love? Drake made it out of the shelter, out of boarding in San Antonio, Texas and made the journey up to Colorado, currently being fostered in Denver, available to meet! Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa. Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado. We primarily rescue dogs off the streets and from kill shelters in San Antonio. ##2595808##

Story
Hi, my name is Bella 💗 I’m a sweet, shy girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and gentle place. I may be timid at first, but once I feel comfortable, I show my loving and loyal heart. I do best in a calm, patient home where I can move at my own pace and build trust slowly. Soft voices, cozy naps, and kind humans mean everything to me. I’m an older gal with lots of love to give, and I’m hoping for someone who sees past my shyness and gives me the chance I deserve. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who will quietly steal your heart, I might be your girl. 🐾

******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. She’s a goofy, happy, loving girl and with just one look into those pretty doe eyes, your heart will melt! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her?
